My toggle leaked at day one. Dissasembled, filed a groove deeper for one of the posts on the switch (filed the white cage) now the grey post sits flush. Prior it was protruding past the white cage and not allowing the clear seal to seal or the black flapper valve to seal. Heard air leaking out of the switch and air constantly flowing out of jets. Along with the switch feeling mushy. Thanks Spa Guy, saved me from having to deal with warranty B.S.!
Do you have a video showing how to remove / replace these newer style toggles? My tub is out of warranty and one of them has started squeaking very badly when it's closed. Do you need to drain the tub to switch them?
Hi Spa Guy! Hopefully you’re still monitoring this video for comments… so here’s my problem. When my water line in my J315 goes above the new style air control toggle button, I hear water leaking and it trips the breaker. I’m not sure exactly which button is leaking, but my guess is all three. It sounds like it’s the check valves, since these buttons (even if the gaskets aren’t sealing) still don’t allow water to back up and then leak down. So I’m guessing it’s the check valves… would they cause enough water to leak down and short the tub out? Or is there another issue with these buttons that would cause water to leak out of the lines? I appreciate any help. Thanks! Ben
@@chriskarenwheaton4637 yes I did it myself, Jacuzzi never took care of the warranty on my brand new spa neither the dealer did not give a S… about my issue. They were not able to supply me a replacement part I found it online. I’ll never buy anything that have Jacuzzi name on it.

The press on one so much better engineered.

Got a brand knew J-475 these toggle switch were all failing right at installation. Whistle crazy loud.
Same issue. Did you just replace it yourself like the video?

Can believe how the toggle are cheaply made.
