Plasmic is a very great product but it is not suited for non-tech only. If you have developpers and non tech, this is the best tool for your team. But if you don't have a tech guy, I think the tool is too complex
Yes! Definitely work with a developer on a Plasmic project if you're non-tech. That's why in the video, we shared quite a number of points that are beneficial to devs too.
@@adrianchinghc for a non-tech, isn’t it possible to go trough a whole Saas creation in Plasmic without using a line of code? Even with a learning curve as with Bubble?
@@QuentPirs You can. But there are some limitations/cons that you might wanna take note of before making a decision. I shared my opinion on that here: ruclips.net/video/QmELJi2se4E/видео.htmlsi=N_gDhaDiH3n5JT71
Hi Adrian, I hope you are well! Thanks for the video, what low code platform would you use to develop a HR management Saas? (Specifically considering the complexity in the back end) Do you think plasmic is suitable for this. Thank you! I am from a non technical background.
Plasmic is pretty flexible but might be quite a learning curve for non-techies. Would recommend working with a developer on it. And yes, Plasmic can definitely achieve that but you'll need a separate backend since Plasmic is only frontend.
Hey, I just started playing around with it yesterday. They have interactive tutorial, which actually helps pick up on how to use the software really fast! But those tutorials do not cover absolutely everything and plasmic is not well known enough to have a lot of tutorials from users online. Haven't looked deep enough into issue yet to tell what could be done in a situation like that. I'll still try to explore it more since it's very flexible.
Hey Ethan! It might have a higher learning curve for non-tech founders. That's why I would recommend using it together with your developer. The main USP is your developer can use it to build while you/anyone non-tech can still work on the content etc together. Without the vendor lock-in of course.
Also I want to build an event website including a booking feature, participant management, user can browse between different categories of events. Do you think plasmic is the best no coding tool for this type of marketplace concept ?
I love the Figma plug-in being a ux designer working with Figma for over 4 years now. Just want to make sure I am using the best tool. thank you so much for your advice. Love your content!
I see a lot of no code builders, I can code a little but I am an IT guy mostly, what I am searching for it a builder which can be easily used to build app to utilize API of my finance app and reseller API of all partners so I can easily create customers in platform and accounting app and invoice them every month automatically by obtaining amount to charge from reseller API bottom line I need to build a billing app any recommendation for builder for billing app?
Thus app is very interesting I was convinced to develop custom solutions with low code for my clients I would need to use bubble but I think plasmic seems to be the better choice.
Many thanks for your incredible videos!! I'd truly appreciate if you could give me your top 3 advices to begin my journey as nocode developer...or maybe if [for example] you were to start your journey again nowadays: what tools and framework would you use today? how would you offer your services to start freelancing and getting clients? how would you start shaping your SaaS agency/Digital agency to offer quick app development based in nocode?
Plasmic really cool. But their UI builder has steep learning curve, as there's a lot to customise at granular level, i.e components/slots & their interactions. You should know basics of web development very well. Further, i couldn't find how to integrate other css library, like tailwind.
you mislead people, you shouldnt do this for your commission only. I tried, it has many issues like to fetch data from rest api with a parameter embedded, that reflect it has not been seriously tested and no support at all, in the forum there are only small amount of posting and nobody reply your technical issue for days, i think appsmith is better
Do a plasmic tutorial
Should we? If got enough demand, maybe we'll do it.

Please! I'm sure you get a lot of views from introducing viewers to no code apps; it's logical to assume many of those viewers also need tutorials
Yes do it please
Yes, do it.
Can I create only the frontend, a REST API client, in Plasmic? Then export the code, run it elsewhere, and later connect it to my custom backend?
Yes. That is definitely possible with Plasmic

@@adrianchinghc So it's like Figma, just for design, not the whole app?
What is it best used for web app or mobile app or websites??
Leaning more towards web app and websites. But if you would like to turn your web app into PWA for mobile app, the Plasmic team can help with that.
How would you compare WeWeb when it comes to Plasmic?
Which would you choose?
Did you ever try Noodl, the open source project?
Cool, thanks a lot. I want to try it, do you know any other tools or maybe some tips?

Plasmic should revamp their Ui editor
Anything in particular you think can be better? I'll try to share this feedback with the team
Please do a Plasmic tutorial to choose Plasmic as my no-code tool
Thanks for the recommendation! Will share this with the team but we don’t have plans to incorporate tutorials for now. Might change in the future 😁
