In my opinion if Hasbro wanted to make Flash sentry and twilight a couple they should have introduced us his pony counterpart and gradually get a proper character development (and more screen time) before becoming Twilight's love interest , instead of just being her crush from the human world cause a romantic relationship between a human and a pony (in human's body) is just weird and cringe
I was sad that Twilight and Flash weren't able to be together, since they are both from different worlds. Them meeting was a complete coincidence by her accidentally bumping into him, since she only visited Flash's world to retrieve back the Tiara from it being stolen by Sunset Shimmer. I honestly think that they are a super cute couple, since they both fell for each other and shared beautiful moments. Twilight without a doubt definitely deserved a great boy like Flash Sentry. 💜💙
I mean its pretty simple imo,none of them wanted to make the moves consistently and confidently (like Timber for example),and its not worth endangering everypony in equestria just for love that might have not worked out, like what would they do if it didnt work out, just erase all his memories with twilight to keep equestria a secret? that sounds worse than not being with someone imo
I think Flash Sentry and Twilight Sparkle could’ve been a good couple in the pony world if only Flash was given more time to develop. Remember, Flash wasn’t really given much of a role more than a lone guard in the Crystal Empire which made him, what I consider, a very good blank slate with so much potential. I will say I don’t like the Equestria Girls version of Flash because he is so bland and was given a decent amount of time to develop even as a mediocre character, but the pony flash could’ve been something truly special. Alas, that is something we will likely never see. :(
She could always have Flash to be her gard since she is a princess herself and she is the only princess who doesn't have one. So she can make it happen. If the other princess gives the ok

I always thought flash was wasted potential to me I always wondered why they couldn’t have pony flash and pony twilight get together In the show which in my opinion made no sense(that’s why I head cannon is that they did offscreen hence why flash is in twilight’s group shot in the last problem) as for human flash in the eg content after legend of everfree it is implied that the two are back together so why couldn’t they have something between them and not just sunset I would say it’s the same with human twilight as well if they decided to continue the romance between flash and twilight with human twilight they could’ve had a thing were flash is getting to know this new twilight and were twilight is getting to know flash which could’ve led to characterization to him more later on
As a former Brony like myself I remember back in 2013 fans never like Flash Sentey if Hasbro ever did, Equestria girls [what if] I guess the writers never thought of that not only that Hasbro never made an ending to the Equestria girls series or even a Sand off !

Alex, who was Jen's husband, got hurt badly and told Jen to take my morpher There are 4 more morpher on the time ship, go after them, that what they did, once there mission is done they have to go back to the year 3000
I said it before and I'll say it again one of my favorite my little pony ships because it really reminds me of spider man because just like spider man (and this is why i think twilight gave up flash BTW) twilight gave up her lover for her responsibilities.
I never really liked the ship because it felt like it was just shoe-horned into a series that doesn’t really do romance to any great extent because the director felt it was necessary for the movie to do well. And the whole protagonist vs alpha bitch school storyline has been done to death and in that particular trope Flash was just a prize to be won to prove Twilight was better than Sunset so he’s not really that interesting. I wish the narrative had put more effort into giving him a personality. Beyond that as others have said he would basically have to move to Equestria to make a relationship work. That could be done although there would have been some oddness with there being two Flash Sentry in the same world. Actually I always wondered what happened to the Sunset Shimmer from the human world, whether she had to be removed to make room for pony Sunset or whether she’s still in the city living her best life. For their ages my impression was maybe late teens. Equestria’s general education system doesn’t seem like it goes past elementary school, so the equivalent of kids going to school until they’re 13 and then being declared adult enough to start an apprenticeship or other specialized education with Rarity starting a clothing business and Pinky apprenticing to the Cakes.

Princess cadence and shining armour are in the exact same kind of situation and they’re doing great. Fourth, the age difference and species wouldn’t of mattered, since flash sentry was just like sunset, a pony himself, he was used to his pony body, he had no trouble with anything pony, or human related. The age wouldn’t have mattered either since in universe, flash and twilight would be old enough to date, true she looks older, but that’s just her alicorn form. If she was a unicorn still she’d probably look his age. Now let’s say twilight wasn’t and alicorn, the story will still happen, her crown get stolen, she gets in a confrontation with sunset, she meets flash. It will all turn out the same, the only difference is she and flash would be dating. Course that’s all speculation there. In short and imo it was a culmination of factors that contributed it, he was a last minute character that was thrown in to test the waters, yet in truth, even with all the hate, he’s still loved by many. Well I might have a theory about flash and twilight when she went to the other world the human world if twilight and flash got together and stayed the mirror portal would close and twilight would be stuck in that world plus twilight and flash didn't know each other that long enough to be in a relationship together and there was another version of twilight in the human world already so idk but wasn't there a pony version of flash in the pony from the movie so that's my theory about twilight and flash also twilight could be older than flash she could be in her 20s and flash could be younger 😊❤
