This is exactly the topic I was guessing you could probably do (yeah, I wished for iconic ballet villians (; My favorite is by the way the first one, though this depends on the production/cast (; ). It was interesting to see how you would also use less known ballets (: and you would open it (e.g.use Hilarion instead of Myrtha). Though, I'm not sure how much Gurn counts as "antagonist", even if he is rival for Effi's heart, he is not as much antagonist as Hilarion. That is why, I was then assuming Paris later, but this was hard to say (Tybalt was only the later more clear through the fighting picture). (And I took Paquita instead of Harlequinade, but apart from this I got all, in most cases without help from choices (:) One correction: The antagonist from Pharaoh's daughter is not the High Priest, but the Nubian King! It is always so nice to have this quiz each Saturday and I'm always looking forward to it (:
Thank you very much for watching and for your feedback! I agree with you in the two topics. I didn't want it to be too obvious, and, believe it or not, it's not easy at all to find clips of the antagonists. I had to make some concessions. Thanks for the correction
@@BalletQuiz it‘s hard to believe you wouldn’t get all the clips you wanted - you did also get so rare things just like Hamza or Oberon from Magic Flute (in the short quiz), yet, I understand your issue ! Actually, the question whether protagonist or antagonist depends on point of view; and when I watch Karl Paquette as Rothbart or Inigo, then he is the real protagonist for me 😅😍🤭, which would make Jose Martinez the „antagonist“ as Siegfried/Lucien 😉; literature in comparison to simple fairy tales is also not always so obvious (recently, I have been considering the literature inspirations behind the ballets, btw…)
@felicity1877 yet it's true. Sometimes I have to download the whole ballet just to use a few seconds. I agree on the "antagonist" problematic, it can be tricky.
I made four mistakes and that included the question regarding the 'Harlequinade' Antagonist (Cassandre) 😂😅😊! It's another great 'guessing game' ❤❤❤. Thank you for sharing @ Ballet Quiz ❤😊.
Great Quiz, as usual! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌹 Fantastic video clips of each ballet!!
Thank you so much ❤️
Hi everyone! I want to thank @felicity1877 for pointing out that for number 17, the answer is Nubian King, not High Priest
Got 14 right. Looks like I need to watch more ballet productions.
Thanks for creating this fun quiz.
That's very good! I'm glad you're motivated 😊
Encore un excellent quizz avec un sujet très intéressant. Merci pour l'idée et la réalisation. Il y a beaucoup de méchants inoubliables😁
Merci à vous pour votre gentil commentaire ❤️
Thank you! It was very interesting!❤
Thank you as well for watching ❤️
19/20 I got wrong number 14😢. But it's ok! I'm a big fan of your channel! Please, continue with your videos!!!
Aw, thank you soooo much! And what a great score! 👍
I got Nr. 14 wrong, too, I think this was the most difficult...
I am a big fan too😊❤
Thank you so much ❤️
