This is one of the most tasteful, beautiful endings to any saga I've ever played. Bravo to CD Projekt Red, the Witcher series will forever be a classic.
Nah, the last time I went outside I fucked up my arm. I'm just gonna stay right here, in my comfy four walls with good games and anime to keep me company.

mannnnn the devs really nailed the face expressions. most of the games have that weird uncannyness going on even now in 2020, but in witcher they made them perfect and cant wait to see what they will do in cyberpunk.
I think the people at CD Projekt Red just wanted a break from the franchise. It doesn't mean that the series is over, just that for now, its aging in a vault, waiting for the next generation of game developers to pick it up and continue the story of The White Wolf

I frequently come here and watch this video to chill and listen to this amazing dialogue, so beautiful and calming, also utterly emotional. This game means a lot to me...

The Witcher will always be one of my favorites. Great story, characters, environments, and moments like those. Just Geralt and an old friend enjoying some peace and quiet, talking about what the future might hold.
I Was playing The Witcher 3 for 3 years. Almost only on Sundays, for like max 2 hours. I'm happy that this amazing story Was with me for such a long time. And yeah, now it feels really empty without this bastard White Wolf..
I really love the feeling that you get having finished Geralt’s story. A worn calm at the choices that have been made on a long journey, one that you are proud to have partaken in, but still leaves you tired and ready for a rest at the end of it all. A nice, deserved, rest.
I've never played more complete game that The Witcher 3. It has some average aspects (combat looks visually great but it will become a bit boring), but as a whole package it is just awesome. The story telling is spot on, the ambiance is on another level, great music, characters you will remember, DLCs longer than many single player games and I can't recall another game in which a felt so many different emotions.
This game made me feel like the world was an actual place, not just a story. I think ill appreciate it even when I get older, it was no different than being invested in a long book series. I wish more games focused on story like this.
I cried after this, I remember playing the non game of the year version and feeling uncomplete, because all the family left Khaer Moren. But the complete edition gave Geralt the ending he deserved... Awesome game, I litterally cried after during this scene and Regis is such a great friend
I came late to the party of Witcher 3 galore. Waited till all DLCs were made available in the GOTY edition. Did not regret one bit and managed to stay spoiler-free long enough to be captivated by the wonders of the in-game world. How I would love to experience the game for the first time all over again...
i have almost 200 hours in this game, that's how long it took me to finish it. it was a beautiful story and one of the best games i have ever played, haven't played it since. I guess it's time to go again. also, gwent and Gervald wearing Yenn's dress lmaooo
Completed the base game twice, but seeing this. Damn I really need to return to Witcher 3 to play Blood and Wine. Along with the other major expansion Hearts Of Stone. This in spite of owning the game thrice (GoG, Steam and Playstation 4.) I'm almost considering, despite pre-ordering CP2077, delaying playing that until I've fully 100%'ed BaW and HoS expansions. Thanks for the vid, was really awesome seeing that interaction and the whole Geralt looking at the player "thing". Honestly makes me even more melancholic that TW3 is Geralts last adventure, particularly considering I've played all three games in the series (and I might add gives me even more of a greater level of respect for Geralts voice actor Doug Cockle.)
The Witcher for me, is one of those rare series that stays with you for the rest of your life. It's like a brother-in arms you went to hell and back with. And we all know we would do it again in a heartbeat.

The mods on my PC keeps it fresh for me. I have over 30 mods installed. Fells extremely satisfying to do a third play through.
Happy day Witchers!
Same, first game I ever played, THE BEST GAME, I'm glad I waited, playing my second run through waiting for cyber punk
*Regis says literally anything*
Me: "I like your funny words, magic man"
His stare and gentle smile well remain carved in my mind for the rest of my life
This game has two times when a character in game intentionally looks at the camera and the player. This time it was melancholic, the other though sent chills up my spine.
Which was the other time?
@@cutscenecollective When Geralt ask Gaunter O'Dimm what he was, Gaunter answered he will not granted his wish.
If you look into O'dimm eyes when he said "yet I still have need of you" he looks at the player quicky before returning to Geralt.
@@manhphuc4335 thanks for telling the community this! Appreciate it!
@@cutscenecollective actually it was noticed very recently by someone from xLetalis videos. I'm just spreading the info.
@@manhphuc4335 He "accidentally" looks at the camera a few times during that initial dialogue. In some other moments, his eyes wander about while speaking.
Felt my body tighten with warmth and sadness when Geralt looked at the camera .. goddamn this game is a masterpiece 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
I feel like such an idiot for not picking up on the fact that Regis' description of the drink was actually a reflection of the game coming to an end until now
OH BIG BRAIN OBSERVATION NICE
Eh, the story as a whole was pretty bland. The sub-quests and contracts were what really made the game. The books were so much better, darker too.
@@RottenCabbage you did not just say the witcher 3's Story Is bland
@@merchantmocha4665 Main quest just split off into way too many sub quests that I felt no desire to complete, apart from the bloody baron quest. Took me 3 tries to be bothered to complete the main story.
@@RottenCabbage you are like the only person that ive senn that thinks this
The smile at the end ;-;
Sweet Geralt.
A bit of rest means they are taking time off this franchise, I mean the game was a masterpiece one of the greatest games of all time, I mean sad I could't get through all the dialogue due to lack of time, but that just shows you how big this game is.
The emptiness you get after finishing the game
NO matter how many times you play it again the first experience feeling never returns
Best game in history
This is one of the most tasteful, beautiful endings to any saga I've ever played. Bravo to CD Projekt Red, the Witcher series will forever be a classic.
I feel like the forth wall break at the end was Geralt silently saying, "GO OUTSIDE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD!"
There's Corona outside
@@coolsteve1342 So avoid people. It's not in the atmosphere.
Nah, the last time I went outside I fucked up my arm. I'm just gonna stay right here, in my comfy four walls with good games and anime to keep me company.
Outside? sounds awful.
There is ghouls outside , no thanks
i seriously love regis, he's my favorite character in the whole game. what a bro
I remember being slightly suspicious of him till the very end. What a true undying OG bro he turned out to be though.
Rest now Geralt...
That look at the end almost made me tear up. I spent the past year playing the games, watching the show, and reading the books. But the games really pulled me into an adventure and was such an almost personal experience. I will always have nothing but the fondest memories of these games and they will forever have a special place in my heart.
I’m a Witcher newbie... after years of seeing the name and Gwent, finally decided to buy it this past Steam sale. Wish me love and luck! I’m so excited to immerse myself in a well-loved world!
Damn it I can't get enough of this game, after i complete my third playthrough on death march i think i'll just relax with Yennefer, thinking of all the adventures
To me this was like a full closure thing and made me feel so good about completely a game, but it made me feel slightly empty inside, but Geralt saying "bye" and smiling slightly makes it worth it, still it made me tear up a little
The worst thing about this game is that it ends T_T
Skyrim isn’t necessarily a game to beat there’s ton of quest and side quest anyone that has are actual legend of that game
Truly a magnificent masterpiece that will pass down as one of the greatest games ever made (greatest imo) in many years to come
I am still not over yet on this game, after completing it I felt an emptiness. really wish for it be longer
Nobody in the comment section is over this amazing game!
Was genuinely sad when I finished blood and wine and seeing my quest log completely empty
Made me blush when he looked at me ☺
mannnnn the devs really nailed the face expressions. most of the games have that weird uncannyness going on even now in 2020, but in witcher they made them perfect and cant wait to see what they will do in cyberpunk.
they really did
Damn!! Now I just feel bad whenever I hear people saying that there should be another witcher game.
I think the people at CD Projekt Red just wanted a break from the franchise. It doesn't mean that the series is over, just that for now, its aging in a vault, waiting for the next generation of game developers to pick it up and continue the story of The White Wolf
There will be another witcher game. It just wont feature geralt as the protagonist
@@androm3daa A game as Ciri would be awesome! Or I bet a game with as Eskel might be fun, too. By all accounts he had quite a few wild adventures himself.
I get chills every single time he gives us that look
Thank you Geralt, Just for being you.
Man that made me tear up when Geralt looked at the camera
God I love this game and Geralt himself so much
This conversation and geralts memories from witcher 2 are the best example how good the story is , not too mention how different both games are
Mad ting is that the comment section is active
You know a game is a masterpiece when after so many years fans come out just to share their love of it.
It's 9pm, and someone would have to physically have to wipe my memory for me to forget him
I'm so glad I finished my first play through the other day. I haven't played through all of the DLC yet, but I love this game so much.
Finishing the witcher felt like never being able to see a friend ever again.
Yeah, given recent events it might be time for you say hello, Geralt.
For the love of god I hope not, I don't want them destroying something we love
@@darkadia6520 They already have plans for another witcher...i fear the will fuck up again
@@ayrton7031 As long as the part of management responsible for Cyberpank's development gets fired into the Sun, replaced with competent people, it will be okay.
Developers did their damnedest, it's the management who couldn't decide what's the game going to be. Which is far from a rare problem in this industry.
I frequently come here and watch this video to chill and listen to this amazing dialogue, so beautiful and calming, also utterly emotional. This game means a lot to me...
when i play this game it makes me feel like am visiting somewhere i like in real life..
never bounded to a video game character like i did in this game.
When i played it the first time trough... Woah guys. When he looks at you trough the screen... I felt it. It was like a small, electric stitch in my heart..
Blood and wine is just so perfect
I remember watching this scene and feeling completely empty inside knowing that I'll probably never experience anything like this ever again :")
I have played video games for about 20 years when Witcher came out. Which means game doenst hit the same emotions any more. But this game hit me like a truck
the music, the characters, the stories, the dilemmas..... man I can go on and on this was not just a game it was an epic experience
It's been years and this scene still made me tear up.
You’ve been resting for almost 6 years! Time to get up ⏰
No, almost 5 years i think. This is the dlc
welp its not rendering, time to sleep again
Kaer Morhen theme makes this scene out of this world....
The track is "wolven storm"
It’s actually called “ After the Storm”
@@DH33.0 THANK YOU! I've been looking for this song for some time now.
Yeah you earned your rest Geralt, you'll still roam around in my playthrough though, relaxedly.
It‘s been 4 years since my first playthrough ... i get fckin nostalgic here.
I got chills when Geralt looked at the camera... damn CDPR really knows how to set the mood. ^_^
Crying every damn time. Miss my man !
The story telling is spot on, the ambiance is on another level, great music, characters you will remember, DLCs longer than many single player games and I can't recall another game in which a felt so many different emotions.
wow i can't even find comments from the last 2 years, all are very recent. goes to show just how much the game made us fall in love with it
TW3 is eternal.
This game made me feel like the world was an actual place, not just a story. I think ill appreciate it even when I get older, it was no different than being invested in a long book series. I wish more games focused on story like this.
Love that song, gives you a chill relaxing vibe
It’s not game, it’s treasure of our generation 🖤
Goodbye old friend...
That little smirk at the end always gets me
3:22 That smile, that damned smile...
I cried after this, I remember playing the non game of the year version and feeling uncomplete, because all the family left Khaer Moren.
But the complete edition gave Geralt the ending he deserved... Awesome game, I litterally cried after during this scene and Regis is such a great friend
That feeling when geralt looks at you and smile. Finally acknowledging us, near bring tears to my eyes...
God the Witcher 3 is just a masterpiece
*sniffs ... I'm fine, I'm fine.... Something just fell in my eyes... *Sniffs. 😭❤️
I burst out crying after this .. realizing that I will never play as Geralt again
you can always replay this masterpiece
@@Rickvd never again for the first time tho
@@Rickvd You can always relive your memories... but you will never be young again.
@@jakubjurasko9277 dont loose hope, rumors of a possible new game after all this cyberpunk crap!
CDPR will most likely start a new witcher after cyberpunk.
I came late to the party of Witcher 3 galore. Waited till all DLCs were made available in the GOTY edition. Did not regret one bit and managed to stay spoiler-free long enough to be captivated by the wonders of the in-game world. How I would love to experience the game for the first time all over again...
When he looks at you, it’s as if he’s saying ‘That includes you, friend’.
I wanted to give geralt a warm hug.
Great making me cry again ...
Gonna play this game until I die of old age. Simply a masterpiece
Watching this while playing cyberpunk. Oh I would give anything to see his face again.
i have almost 200 hours in this game, that's how long it took me to finish it. it was a beautiful story and one of the best games i have ever played, haven't played it since. I guess it's time to go again.
also, gwent and Gervald wearing Yenn's dress lmaooo
Hearing that after a save with 142 hours gameplay made me smile :)
Completed the base game twice, but seeing this. Damn I really need to return to Witcher 3 to play Blood and Wine. Along with the other major expansion Hearts Of Stone.
This in spite of owning the game thrice (GoG, Steam and Playstation 4.)
I'm almost considering, despite pre-ordering CP2077, delaying playing that until I've fully 100%'ed BaW and HoS expansions.
Beat the game and both expansions during Covid lockdown back in April. Gave me chills and excitement and sadness I hadn't felt in years.
Long live Banana Tiger 🍌 🐯. You know a game is legendary when the comment section is still active after 2 years.❤

The Witcher for me, is one of those rare series that stays with you for the rest of your life. It's like a brother-in arms you went to hell and back with. And we all know we would do it again in a heartbeat.
