I want to say thank you for introducing me to Diamond painting! I bought my first DAC paintings with your code. I am totally addicted. I listen to audiobooks as I work on these most of the time. This also helps my anxiety SO much!
You totally hooked me on Diamond Painting lol a while ago I used your link and ordered 2 Diamond art paintings. They are fantastic for my anxiety! They also helped me through my grief after losing my cat, Petunia (I had her for nearly my whole life and losing her has been the most painful thing in my life) so I really am thankful to you for introducing me to this hobby. I recently finished my first painting, Starry Night. & it is gorgeous! I'm currently working on my second painting , it's a Tiger (my favorite animal) with goldfish. Love your paintings!
The drill quality is great on diamond dotz for the static I put a tiny bit of dryer sheet on the tray, for kitting up put them in the freezer 1st. I have become very fond of diamond art club too.
Yeah, I learned that lesson the hard way on not to order a square diamond painting off of Amazon. I lived to regret. It still sits in my drawer underneath my other diamond paintings to this day.
It's so cool and bizarre seeing a booktuber show their diamond paintings because I've been Diamond Painting for about 3 years now and have seen a big influx with people trying it lately. It's so nice to see two of my hobbies combining on other peoples channels!! 💗
Thanks for the great video! The rabbit and cat were my favorites until I saw the BOOKS! Amazing! I'm going to look for the kit. Also, I'm thinking this art work could be used to make pillows. Haven't tried that yet. Only done one so far.
If ur curious yes squares take more precision but they actually are smaller too, so there are more per square inch. 12 round drills per square inch, vs 16 square ones :) that's another reason they take longer
Seeing your diamond painting videos was what finally took me from observing and obsessing to actually diving in a couple months ago. I literally just started with DAC and haven’t gone anywhere else cause I just want to enjoy the process and the result. I’m definitely a casual diamond painter (I’ll do like an hour here and there). So far I’ve done a round mandie manzano then universe in a jar by Spangler (ya dove into square, big, and confetti real quick). Now back to the siren by mandie manzano until today when I’m going to do the draglines and books event in May. When I was doing the squares I COULDN’T WAIT to get back to rounds but now that I’m back in rounds I’m realizing I really like both for different reasons. And squares also feel longer since they are smaller so there’s more per square inch.
I really want to try doing these! But your question on what do you do with them when you are done hangs over my head lol. I got really into those Paint and Sips at restaurants a few years ago and then I had a whole bunch of paintings that I didn’t like the finished product of. I wanted throw them away, but it made my husband mad because he was like “no! Those are memories! And you created it!” But I’m super specific about my taste in home decor and kinda type A about things matching perfect and more of a minimalistic approach. So I feel like I’d end up storing these in a closet and eventually wanting to throw them away, then it makes me feel like the act of doing it isn’t as fun because I want to feel like accomplished in that way. YET I WANT TO DO THIS because like you said it looks insanely relaxing. Adult coloring books have never really done anything for me, and the sticker ones sound like they’d give me anxiety 😂 for some reason all the little dots seem calming to me lol. I was trying to figure out if there’s a way I could sell or donate them somewhere but I’m then I’m like uhhh who would want mine? 😂 my friend and family circle is pretty limited on being able to gift them too 😓 But I’ve had so so much anxiety and depression from this pandemic and political world, that I need an outlet so badly.
exactly I got a huge diamond panting a month ago tomorrow and it's diamond dotz brand and tomorrow is a month since I got it and the exact same day is finishing day it's called On The Prow and it's a square drill and it's a cheetah and the cheetah was confetti the rest of it but the entire background was color blocking
Love seeing your completed ones! While I had seen diamond painting around here and there, your videos were what pushed me to actually give it shot. I tried a cheap Amazon one, in case I didn't enjoy it I didn't want to put a bunch of money into it, but I had a good enough experience with it, that I wanted to try DAC, and dear god, I have fallen down the rabbit hole and have become obsessed. I've completed a couple, currently working on 3, and have almost 30 kits waiting to be worked on. It is just so relaxing to do and there are so many great images that I look forward to working on.
So excited to be seeing the diamond painting content coming back! I’ve been doing it for about 3 years now but I just completed my first DAC painting, actually it was black and white!!!, and I am absolutely obsessed with their products! I’d only done diamond dotz ones in the past so now I’m excited to finally be branching out to other brands as well. So happy to see all the paintings you’ve completed in one concise video! I love them!!
I loved seeing all of your completed paintings and am looking forward to your other videos. I have the one that you have on your wall but so far I have not attempted to tackle it. I recently completed the Hawaiian Cat one and just started Curl Up with a Good Book.
I just gave my first six away as gifts. I'm saving for a big one from DAC that I would keep for myself, just gotta find the print that screams BUY ME lol. Until then I just ooh and ahhh over everyone else.
Love all of them. But the Cat is AMAZING! I am in love with DAC. I don't think I can do another brand of diamond painting after finding DAC. They spoil us with such high quality. ❤ I had to give my non- DAC away. 😁
I jumped into large paintings myself my first was 60 x 90 witch I finished in jan and my second large one was a 105 x 80 I'm working on a 50 x 75 now and I'm taking it slower so I'm about a month too. I've done about 9 at this point... I've framed most of mine only cause I got promission from a family member.
I've done a bunch of small cheapy ones from Amazon, some were decent for the price, others not so much. Once I found DaC I haven't looked back, LOL. I've complete three so far--Tuscany Villa, View of Santorini, and A Moment on Memory Lane. I'm currently working on Solar System. I haven't hung any up because they're huge and I can't afford to frame them, and the magnetic frames are probably not strong enough, though people have said I could add Gorilla Glue or something. For now they're just rolled up on a closet shelf, LOL. I have five more in my stash........and like 20 on my wishlist. But I do them for the enjoyment and to calm my anxiety.
My most recent Diamond Painting is a custom I got. It's huge 😂 my biggest one so far. It's a image from one of my favourite video games. It's 45x60 cm, I'm hoping to put it in my gaming room in the future when I move in with my boyfriend.
I owe my diamond painting addition to you! I’m currently working on So Many Books So Little Time by Randal Spangler from DAC for the Dragling’s and Books Spangler event! It’s for the whole month of July so I can’t wait to see how much of it I get done! Your paintings looks beautiful! 💜💎📚
I am hooked cause of your videos. I have only kept 3 of my pieces. I give them away. When I buy them I buy for people and what I know they will like. I wish I could buy more from DAC but I can't always afford them.
Lovely paintings, the horse is my favourite one! Do you seal your diamond paintings? Unfortunately DAC does not offer free international shipping anymore so the ones that i have ordered are probably the last ones so far :(
Thank you for introducing me to diamond painting, but I'm wondering. Did you put some glue/finish on the one you hung up, or is it just the painting? 😀
I would like to try this hobby so I’m planning on getting a smaller one to start and going from there. However what size would you recommend for more busy or intricate pictures, I know it sort of depends on the image though.
So pretty!! How do you get them so flat? I have to keep mine rolled up when I am working kn them because I don't have the room. Also where did you get the hanging frame for the dragon one on your wall
Any got any advice for me?. I'm still fairly new to diamond painting and so far have only completed rounds but I've ordered a square one and looking for some advice on doing square paintings.
There's also light pads you can get to sit under your painting, which shows and small gaps or areas missed. But mostly importantly, they never line up perfectly or exactly right! Just being prepared to let imperfections go because once you step back it won't be noticeable; and the process of completing the painting will become tedious otherwise
@@bookwormbon482 I have a light pad. It's been helpful but I did find one of those rulers ypu were talking about with the gaps for them. That has worked wonders so Thanks for the advise.
Hey Chelsea I miss your videos and when you show your animals. Please do another video if you can and let us know your ok. Miss your book. recommendations too! 😊
Chelsea do you seal your round diamond paintings when your finished with them? I’m working on my first DAC canvas rounds and heard sealing them is important
Only downside to diamond painting as someone who has a lot of them just sitting in a drawer waiting to be framed, it is expensive to frame them because you have to get custom frames for most because they are such weird sizes. I love doing diamond painting but that is the only downside that I have.

Aww sorry about your lost
Me to :( 😿
Chelsea, I just spent nearly 2 hours researching diamond painting. I'm not upset at all! I am planning my first purchase 🤩
Thank you for the discount code. I saved $24 and change on my first DAC order.
The drill quality is great on diamond dotz for the static I put a tiny bit of dryer sheet on the tray, for kitting up put them in the freezer 1st. I have become very fond of diamond art club too.
I got hooked on diamond art club paintings, and now they will no longer be offering free shipping to Canada 😞
I love diamond painting! Started after Christmas and have 3 done so far. My favorite I’ve done is one of Stitch holding the Child and reading a book.
Can I just say that I liked this before watching. I am obsessed with your channel. Your channel is top notch and ur animals are the cutest ever.
I loved seeing your finishes.
Yeah, I learned that lesson the hard way on not to order a square diamond painting off of Amazon. I lived to regret. It still sits in my drawer underneath my other diamond paintings to this day.
Thank you! I haven't understood why there are so many unboxing of these things and not as many 'showing the finished art" ones.
Kitten, bird, winter one, 💚❤️ Oh! Horse, winter one! If only I had room for this hobby :/
The fact that I’m watching this after a super sleepy day at work because I stayed up until 3am diamond painting.

So many incredible paintings. I've been working on landscapes from Italy.

I’m obsessed with diamond painting
I think I definitely need to learn diamond painting, just so I can do the dragon book one on your wall.
That butterfly is actually a moth, lol. I noticed on their website they list their jaguars as leopards.
I know the cross eyed feeling. I did a custom diamond painting to where the bottom part of is was the same 7 colors but there was SO MUCH WHITE.
Omg I love the giant cat one! 🐈 Fellow cat lady here!
I love this so much!

These diamond paintings look lovely Chelsea!. I hope you enjoy doing the rest of the butterfly one

Yeah a diamond painting video 🤪 you have got some amazing pieces!!
Thanks for the video, I share your love of Spangler books & draglins ❤️.
Chelsea... I just found your channel, and you are delightful. I really think I have met you in real life. Have you lived in PA?
I love that christmas cat one! I still have yet to try diamond painting. It looks beautiful tho!

I have the black and white cat and I love it

I use an artist portfolio (with 25 clear sleeves inside) that hold all of my small DP completed work. It is fun to flip through! (got mine on Amazon)
Plz tell me where did you get the large one love it and would love to buy it es beautiful...
Diamond art club?

I have the same too many books DAC I love the frame you chose. Do you have anymore info on it I would like that frame for mine when I am done.
Love the Sheena Pike.💜💜💜
Lovely paintings, the horse is my favourite one! Do you seal your diamond paintings? Unfortunately DAC does not offer free international shipping anymore so the ones that i have ordered are probably the last ones so far :(

I just started on my first diamant painting 🙈 ❤
I am so slow at doing them. But that is fine with me. I put on an audio book and relax.
That's what I do. It relaxes me when I can't sleep or had a bad day at work.
Doing the literate dragon now. Having a great time doing it.
Do you take your diamond dots to Hobby Lobby To Get Framed or you frame them yourself? I take mine to Hobby Lobby but they cost an arm and A Leg lol
I tried making a DIY frame from wood which was challenging but definitely saved a log of money
So pretty!! How do you get them so flat? I have to keep mine rolled up when I am working kn them because I don't have the room. Also where did you get the hanging frame for the dragon one on your wall
How did you do the backside of the big piece
Any got any advice for me?. I'm still fairly new to diamond painting and so far have only completed rounds but I've ordered a square one and looking for some advice on doing square paintings.
Have you heard of doing the checkboard pattern? That helps keep the diamonds straight
And also there's a plastic tool you can buy to straighten the diamonds up after you place them.
There's also light pads you can get to sit under your painting, which shows and small gaps or areas missed.
But mostly importantly, they never line up perfectly or exactly right! Just being prepared to let imperfections go because once you step back it won't be noticeable; and the process of completing the painting will become tedious otherwise

Have you thought about sale them
Just FYI... The first one is a moth, not a butterfly. Moths have feathery antennae, butterflies have slender antennae.

I like the gray cat with the flower one, that looked like my cat before she dead

No they don't, especially if you buy from a good company like Diamond Art Club as their canvas glue is really good
