Carry me close, Lord, Shepherd of Israel.
Beckon me nearer, Shepherd of mine.
You are the joy of every believer,
And it's for You, dear Jesus, I pine.

Mighty Redeemer!
Beautiful Saviour!

Where is the pasture, green and abundant,
Promised to all who trust and obey?
Open the gate to intimate grace, Lord.
Shelter, embrace, and feed me today.

Far from Your people, deaf to Your voice?
