    I have an update on my Qnap Tvs-h674 repair. So far, the nas is on the way back, and I was told that the MB was replaced, Qnap is going to send the replaced MB for examination to Taiwan.

    So if I understand this correctly, I backup a folder with images, once a week I do another backup of the same folder, will all new images in that folder be backed up (only) or will it redo the entire folder every time? Then when I restore to a new NAS, will it restore the all images, even the new images of do I have to do something else?

    Hi - great video. What is the difference between sync and backup, I did not get this. Thanks

      Sync can be a great option if you want to work on the data in 2 places at the same time, backup is a true backup... you should not edit/work from the data at the target or you will ruin the backup integrity.

    This looks like a great solution for us! Question: If we have about 7TB of data, it will take a long time to upload to the cloud - what is the best workaround for that?

    • @QNAPUK
      @QNAPUK  Год назад

      It really depends on your upload speed of your Internet, but even on a decent business package you could still be looking at a few weeks to backup 7Tb.

      @@QNAPUK are there options to send a seed drive to a physical storage location?

      Unfortunately not an option we have currently.

    Is it possible to share the saved data somehow or is it just a backup space?

    • @QNAPUK
      @QNAPUK  3 месяца назад

      Yes, we have share links possible now. If you tried it before and couldn't see it then that is because it was only added in the last couple of months. But yes you can create share links to either files or folders.

      I only see the option to share qnap ID with users. at the same time, the manual mentions the possibility for anyone. Can I ask for advice? I have also paid the bill.

      They will be required to have an address registered as a QNAP ID, we do not support anonymous sharing currently, they will have to authenticate to access. They do not need a QNAP to create a QNAP ID.

    What do you do with a TS-870 Pro? Will it get version 22.1? Is there a workaround?

    • @QNAPUK
      @QNAPUK  Год назад

      Unfortunately not. The latest version of QTS this NAS supports is 4.3.6.2441, which only supports version 3.0.210916 of Hybrid Backup Sync.
