Same here. I get frustrated because I think I should be picking it up and learning faster. But, I have to keep reminding myself that I'm 50 yrs old trying to learn a 2nd language. Which happens to be my native language to boot. And, I get frustrated with her too because she'll start speaking Spanish without translating and breaking down what it means.
