    I just started the chromatic harmonica 1-2 weeks ago and breath and the tuning where c repeats are the hardest parts I've found. I constantly feel myself getting full of air so I decided to seek out videos on breath as nobody actually teaches chromatic harp in my part of the world. I did a test on how long I could blow out a note without any circular breathing and how long I could draw in a note. The blow was 30 seconds while the draw was 20 seconds. I keep breathing through my nose in regular playing to be able to get the low tones to sound alright. Gotta work on that!

      I'm sorry it took so long to get back to you Vinh...just saw your question. Breath control is relative, you can start improving in a few days, and keep improving for years. Like oboe.
