@@CraftBasti Piers Morgan is a famous journalist in the UK, and he’s (generally speaking) centre-right socio-politically. He’s seemingly reasonable enough to collect a large listening audience, but pretty fucking problematic in a lot of socio-political conversations. Acaster is socio-politically left of centre, so his outrage is expected and pretty funny. To what extent this is a true statement, I’m not sure, but Piers is kinda like a gateway drug for centrists to think more suspiciously of liberal socio-politics, and presents as an archetype of a white middle-aged man who’s becoming despondent with cultural change, and is most comfortable living with their ‘lot’. He also just comes across as a bit of a nob. Ps to anyone reading - I pure don’t care to debate on the validity of Piers’ journalism, I’m just blobbing together my peripheral experience of the zeitgeist that involves him, speaking as a largely uninterested British citizen on the sensationalism of modern media styles. Was this the same year we were all congratulating and cheering for nurses and doctors and people in the care sector during the pandemic ? To come out and say Morgan is wild
The moment with Lorraine reminded me how a lot of vacuousness leads to fame. She’s a delightful person to watch on ‘lite’ amusement TV, but that riff on Piers was revealing.
UK Pray Acaster stays in comedy, if he goes into politics, you're looking at a Leader for Life. and you thought your Bag for Life was going to be around for ever.
I'm honestly trying, I really am, but I swear I've never found a clip of James Acaster being funny - ever. I'm sure there are people who find him funny and that's fine but I just do not see why he is funny.
If it's of any help, I'll be the first to say that it doesn't matter if you don't find him funny. Ignore anyone making fun of that fact or who are trying to tell you to force yur sense of humou to change and go do more fun things instead :)
Watch taskmaster! He was hilarious in that. Also the panel shows he’s a guest on. If that doesn’t do it for you, then I think your sense of humor is just different from his and the people that like him. To be fair, I love James but his stand up can be a bit too whimsical at times. I prefer shows where he just says what comes to his mind on the spot.
Josh and James are hilarious, the disabled guys aren't funny at all and only got a break due to positive discrimination. Not to mention they never shut up about their disability.
The *immediate* _"Go fuck yourself"_ from James to *Lorraine Kelly* will forever be one of the best moments in TV. Ever.
Could you please explain to me what the deal was there? Who was the person whose name made James so upset and why exactly?

he has a way of telling a story which makes it seem that he is making it along as he goes. Scary thing is, it's all TRUE!

One of the best comedians out there
And a genuinely likeable person
not even close. he simps too hard
He’s not mate, he’s crap
@@marlinderwall8873 mate what

I don't know why you're only showing clips. James Acaster existing is the best moments. But, you know, fair play.
2:51 Iconic moment right there
100% my favorite comedian
It's so rare to see Acaster nearly lose it, but he does at 05:54
"tea bagged to kingdom come."
When you wait patiently for the best moment to say something powerful. Respect.
😂😂😂.
He was at his best on countdown and task master
he steals the show on WILTY. best guest on that show second only to bob mortimer
Blockbusters, never forget
6:51 is probably the most underrated moment here haha

Thats a lot of judgement to make off a bit. She was trying to be funny in an ironic way not sincerely defending him.
I fear James Acaster
i love him so much
James always looks handsome!
Surely if a flute player is called a flutist, a didgeridoo player must have a special name too... Didgeridooer? Didgeridooist?
A flute player is actually called a flautist.
Does this mean he's coming in the next episode?
Yes, he’s on it tonight.
Drop the skin joutine James

I’m here cos some online friend thinks I sound like him
Why does he look stoned pretty much all the time?
I never get his appeal, Except for Ghostbusters Frozen empire he was good in that.
How Sour Is He ?
