The problem is sometimes it is the contents of the salad not the hands of the people touching it. I remember when working in fast food I had to wear gloves at all times I was preparing food.
I love her! She is not trying to sugarcoat reality, she is honest and open. I watched her interviews since 20 years till now, very smart and funny lady.
I love you Christina you’ve always kept it 💯,You are the funniest sweetest kindest gentlest person I’ve ever watched, you have impacted me in a positive way ,never stop making people laugh,we love you ❤
I'm very proud of you trying to accomplish day by day with M.S. My husband had the worst disease ALS, known as Lou Gehrig's disease. This kind of disease killed him more than those who lived a long time with MS. He lived with AlS for about two years before he died. Be grateful your MS carries you for many years to come. So enjoy the time you have left, and be rich with those who love and deeply care for you. The best to defend your disease is to stop complaining and live to the fullest. Hundreds go through like you, look at the amazing Mousekeeter Club, Annette Funcellio, who wowed us to the end. You are amazing and remember not to complain but to live to the fullest. God bless you and yours.
She is so brave and so honest. And too many nasty, dirty, lazy people in the food/restaurant business! That's why? I don't eat out much or order out. Thanks! But no thanks! So someone took a crap, didn't wash their hands, she ordered a salad and boom.
Lord, make me to know mine end, and the measure of my days, what it is: that I may know how frail I am. Behold, thou hast made my days as an handbreadth; and mine age is as nothing before thee: verily every man at his best state is altogether vanity. Selah. Psalms 39:4-5
God bless you Christina! I also have MS was diagnosed at 27 now I'm 51. I had 2 jobs then I got Covid and was in the hospital and a rehab nursing home over a month cuz the Covid made my MS worse. I thank God I got on disability cuz I can't do anything. It sucks I'm only at peace when I sleep
My sister-in-law has MS and she was getting horrible symptoms from it and changed her diet by going by this one particular book and it has completely cured her. Food is seriously your medicine. I’m not well either, however, I’m on a pension and cannot afford to follow the way she eats. I’m below the poverty level and have to eat whatever I can from the food bank. I knew someone who worked at a butcher/slaughter house and he told me that, shit from the cattle is in all meat.
When did it get to the point where celebrities think it is a good idea to overshare. Everyone has their problems and difficulties we don't need to hear from celebrities.
Well no but ....when someone puts a face to their disease by speaking about the good bad and ugly it raises awareness to the realities of how not nice these things are
She's bringing awareness to those of us with MS. It's just a fact of what happens with this disease. Everyone that is commenting on this are grown ups. They should act like it. It's not TMI. It's awareness of an awful disease that robs your life. Showing compassion instead of derision is what is needed.
I work in adult social care and we would call them adult pads or pull ups. We would never call them nappies ( i am uk) or diapers out of respect for them. But it’s more common then people know that some 50+ wears them especially due to illness.
So what if you wear a diaper 🙏.It stinks but you don’t have to be ashamed!! I have the same issue and I have to be honest I hate it!! I have MS and have had it for 35 yrs! We are not defeated! I am praying for you! God cares!
This is a very insensitive, shaming headline for anyone suffering through the same disease, or any other neurological disease that leads to bowel and bladder incontinence. Please change the headline
I feel for her and totally understand experiencing autoimmune diseases..but some things are meant to be personal. I have found that getting going on with healing is key. Also all things are gifts from above, fight the battle, find joy in the things you may not have even recognized in your life, living simply and being thankful. Praying for all who experience this illness and others.
You are totally free to keep your issues to yourself. I think she's very courageous for sharing her experiences and I believe it will help others to feel less alone in their struggles.
I get the runs eating my salad 🥗 I wash it and everything.. just my opinion some people don't age well with health people should be more responsible...
@@marionsmith-williams4324 she should children wear diapers and feel the need to complain adults keep it to themselves. It's not for awareness but attention. Just like your reply. Like a child you needed to be heard

Ms. Applegate, you are more beautiful than ever. Thank you for being so open about the struggles you are going through. You are one strong lady.

She has been such a good person and its so sad that she developed MS . She doesn't deserve to be sick .
I don’t ever get a salad at any restaurant. It’s just to risky with all the bacteria in lettuce.
