Hi did you coded immobiliser or just added another key to unlock the car ? Because you can add new key just to open the dor without any extra device just by folowing online instruction when you have one working key

Was using key tool max which has been good on Hondas so far… it was an Ilco transponder key. The programmer was connecting and went through all the steps but immo light wouldn’t go off. Maybe just a bad key or something wrong with the car?
I had to absolutely get a locksmith that had a machine with him to program this key and cut it. For a 2013 Honda CRV you cannot do any trick to get the key programmed it absolutely requires a special tool to be plugged into the car

So this isn’t something you can do with a standard ODBII code reader?
If your code reader has the aplication it will do it
So this is useless for a person at home trying to do it themselves. You have to have a special piece of equipment to program the key
