I have the Quaco Pro Lite I got off Amazon, I bought the TE10 variant, I own both the TE10 and TE20 Devilbiss pro lites, My Quaco seems to like to be wide open at 26psi and lays out stunning with the clear. I like the way it sprays metalics but the real deal Devilbiss is just easier in my oppinion. Though I payed $40 for the Quaco to my door and honestly for the money it is so darn close to the Devilbiss I am super suprised by it. Thank you for the videos. I am going to try the NVE next just for fun though.
Hi Buddy, It sounds like you have been lucky with yours, the NVE is coming down in price now so not too much to take a chance with, it'll be interesting to hear what you think when you get it. Good to hear you're enjoying the videos, I genuinely enjoy making them, thanks, mate, for watching and taking the time to comment, much appreciated 👍
HI PETE,GOOD VIDEO, I WAS ABOUT TO PURCHASE THE NVE,AND THE 4000B,BUT,I GOT THE YT160 WITH 4 ADDITIONAL NEEDLES TIP AND CAP FOR $110 U.S. DOLLARS, NO BRAINER KINDA HARD TO BEAT AND YOU CAN DO AN ENTIRE JOB,also have A610,and caps are switchable, but the porphis 717,very tempting ❤
Hi Lesli, I do think the NVE and the 4000B give better results than the YT160, R500, and A610 type of gun, not miles ahead but a little . The Porphis PRD series are a completely different product both in quality and performance compared to the cheaper Chinese guns. They are, imo a quality made item. Of course, they are more expensive, but it certainly justified as far as I can see
You're welcome, buddy. I've just ordered another Porphis, the PRD 515, with a 510 conversion set. The 510 is a 1.0 setup, so a midi gun. The 515 is a 1.3 MP gun. It'll be interesting to see what it's like. Obviously, I'll share it with everyone anyway once I've given it some use, cheers mate 👍
Great vid Pete. I really look forward to these cheap gun reviews. I was going to pop on the NVE but I got the 4000B instead and i gotta say its become my favorite. Its up there with my Bellaria and FLG5. Loads better than my r500's. They're ok but not the best for the money. I have an LPH400 and a W400 WBX but I like the pattern on my Bellaria and the FLG5 better. Ive been using the 4000B more and more. Love the build quality and spray pattern. It also feels real good spraying. I like a big pattern especially on car panels. The atomization is really good I think. I dare to say its better than my Bellaria. I like to close the fan 3/4 of a turn just as the pressure starts to go up on the guage. The fan is still huge but it just cleans up the pattern and I think it helps atomize finer because its increasing the velocity at the nozzle just a bit more. I usually spray thin cheap clear I actualy get good results spraying lower pressures. Ive been spraying at 24-26psi with good results. If I go much higher than 29-30 its over atomizing a bit. But that just with my thin material. It sprays metallics very well. The big fan helps especially on drop coats and with blending👍
Hi Marc, the NVE doesn't put out as much as the Ntools 4000B, so it's a slower experience, which some will prefer. As you will know, spraying lower viscosity materials will normally mean you want/need less pressure as the fan can start to split. I will have to do a back to back with the NVE & 4000B, I'm pretty sure they are as good as each other in performance with the NVE a little slower, doing these back to back is definitely the best way of noticing the differences. Thanks mate, many people read these comments, so it's good to get a comprehensive report from someone other than me, I think it helps give a broader opinion, appreciate it, cheers 👍
It is much better than before, it breaks down the particles of the material better, whereas the fake gti, it forces more output, we see this in the sound it emits.
Hey Pete how are you doing mate, I hate to say this but I'm really liking my N-Tools 5000 RP (to be honest I doubt there's much difference with their 4000B that you have although ive not seen the 4000B up close). I was really expecting it to be a throw away gun but I'm happy I got it, albeit a bit of a ripoff price here in Aus, but that's how it is , I also forgot that I got N-Tools SRI pro lite mini gun about 2 years ago , I'll have to dig it out and have another look at it, but to finish off I'm liking the results with the 5000 RP perhaps if I had the usual home garage compressor things wouldn't be as positive but I did get an 8 HP compressor to keep up with the Iwata LS 400 ..nope still haven't got the WS400 which I wanted so much , I think the split tip issue sort of made it go by the way side a bit, anyway enjoying your video's immensely keep em coming !!!
Hi Roger, I suspect the 4000B and 5000B are very similar. It tends to be the way with a lot of these Chinese guns . The compressor issue is a good one as these and the 4000B I have use around 11cfm at 2bar, but, as I mentioned in this video, the likes of the R500 uses something very similar because to get satisfactory results on clear coats you need around 2.5 bar and at that pressure they are up around that figure anyway so no real savings, cheers mate, shame you haven't got that WS400 yet, I think you would enjoy it, 👍
@watchthisspacecarchannel6523 Yes, certainly the case with the copy Gti Pro Lite, seal behind the baffle being the main problem, means you really have to do the tip up tight to seal it, cheers mate 👍
I have that pro lite clone and it is an absolute water hose wide open!!! Definitely need to turn it down maybe 3 turns to feel it out if you’re getting used to it but can definitely spray a nice finish once you’ve dialed it in to your liking

hey pete, I bought the same but in the blue color, wheres the air regulator in this spray gun? they are usually on the bottom of the gun but in that specific model there`s none. and by the way, the fluid knob is always in the direction of the needle, right? and the fan knob is the top one? Thank you
Hi Mate, do you mean the NVE? If so, the air adjustment is the black channeled sleeve, just above the screw thread for the regulator. Yes, fluid knob and fan are as you say, BTW, the air adjustment on the gun needs to be fully open to get a genuine reading on the regulator, cheers 😀
Nice review, been looking for on on the DV1 "Clone". Only one question you didn't say, is there any product savings with the NVE or is it basically the same as the pro lite clone?
Hi buddy, the NVE has quite a different pattern, so you can use more materials if you're not careful, but generally, there's little to choose between the two
Interesting ... I already purchased a Chinese Gti Pro Lite 1.3 which is OK , but what pressure at the gun would you recommend for clear coat ? I also found your You Tube on heating up clear coat useful . Many thanks .
Hi buddy, For best results something around 2.2bar, so 33 psi, but I don't normally use full fluid as it overwhelms the cap, so something around 3 turns out from fully in on the fluid should be ok, maybe a little more depending on what you seeing, cheers mate 👍
@cuttockclough They need a bit more than that, but keep the fluid under control as at higher pressure, it becomes very fast and it overwhelms the cap, thats what I've found, cheers mate 👍

Hi Jimmy, Thanks, mate. I guess as you say, it's using a gun washer that causes a problem. I've not had a problem with my NVE but have with all 3 of my clone Pro Lites, the main culprit is the white sealing ring behind the baffle, it lets go on the original as well but they aren't interchangeable, I do hand wash my guns because I don't like gun wash machines, especially with digital guns like the Sata's so I prefer not too, although I have lent both of these to a mate that has a gun washer and he had no problems although it was probably only 8 to 10 washes he did. @peteshobbies5383 I have the ani already I am looking for a second Gunn, not sure what to do exactly, use the ani for clear and get a base primer gun or donthe opposite and use the ani for base and primer and buy a clear gun , any suggestions ?
@honcho714 The Ntools 4000B is a good clear gun and cheap, uses a bit more air through
@peteshobbies5383 thanks . I appreciate the response and your videos.
You're welcome, buddy 👍
Da hora hein
Bonjour cher ami,
Hi mate, I haven't had problems with the fake DV1, but you and others are telling me the same, I guess I have just been lucky
The nve spraygun costs 130 if you order from Germany 😢
Hi buddy, So if you're in Germany it will cost €130 Euros ?
@@peteshobbies5383 sadly yes...
