Hi Kris, I have done something like this using PX4 firmware (e-Flight Convergence). PX4 firmware has thrust differential gain. It detects yaw rate , then adjust front motors to keep the aircraft going straight? I want to use Ardupilot as i am familiar with mission planner camera control. Not success yet. Problem with uneven thrust from motor and asymmetric structure when me built it. Standard APM3.8.x has no thrust differential. I found it was very difficult to fly without it. Curious, if your firmware version has thrust differential in FWBA and auto mode?
Dear Kris! I do not quite understand how the switching between the motor modes occurs - low position = single engine thrust on the rear side, neutral = front side with two thrusts of the engine, high position = front and rear three thrusts of the engine. Where can I download a tutorial? I wish you every success!

I thought ardupilot firmware supported this yaw axis controller by 2 front motors vector thrust. The Tilt-Type choose Vectored, tilt-rotors have vectored control of yaw, where they can control yaw by tilting the left rotors independently of the right rotors.
And can you share the function of motors (Servo*-Function=**)? I'm making one, tilt-quadplanes with all four motors tilting,now I dont know which number I can choose for 4 tilt-servos follow values. Many thanks!!

Maritime surveillance? I would use HeliPlane for offshore applications. It’s capable of landing on the swaying ship in strong wind For wide area surveillance, a hybrid of gas and battery engine is often used. It is a helicopter-based aircraft, not a quadplane. You will have to use my firmware or develop one on your own. 2. My firmware can be downloaded for free, but it's not open source. 3. The current tutorial is in Chinese and is being translated into English, but the workload is huge (because there is a difference of over 2 years of trial and errors from the original official version).

That holds good in the wind! The Firefly 6 Pro will not do that because of the crummy AVA software. And your transitions are way way better.

but I didn't add the code to Folding propeller in this version.
50Hz or 490Hz depends on Servo?_Function. For example, 33 (ESC) is 490Hz

The yaw control is from the front motors' vector thrust, it has nothing to do with the rear motor.
