Legacy of Darkness is the second Castlevania game on the N64. This quick run uses the gun slinging Henry, who is available from the start in the Japanese version.
Henry's objective is to rescue 6 children found in 6 stages within a specified time.

Henry is clearly one of the more pragmatic Castlevania protags.
No magical lineage? No mythical weapon? No problem.
Just carry a blessed six-shooter and wear plenty of armor.
Just start hopping around and don't look back.

Henry is truly an underrated character, dude just gunned down his way thru Dracula's Castlevania
All I hear in my head is, "Jump around, jump around, jump up, jump up, and get down!".

Dude you are so good at player
Did you know armor like that doesn't impair your movement irl nearly as much as some (other) video games would lead you to believe? This much jumping and such is actually nearly believable (as in, you don't have to be Superman to do it). The cliff jumping, though, not so much.
It would probably get exhausting real quick. But yeah, plate mail still allows for more mobility than you'd think.
Depending on what type of armour. But yeah common misconception is that european armours are heavy. Which not all the common weight for it is 20 kilos and its still distributes all over your body.
A full set Japanese samurai armour is heavier in comparison.
Although i won't recommend a steel armour. A gambeson is better. Looks cooler , it can protect you as good as a plate armour could and keeps you warm in cold nights.
It's do-able. Anyone physically fit to jump with an armor for 14 minutes straight while bearing the gun recoil... not so much.

I use to do some. pretty extreme drops to save time,they would trigger the scream and death camera zoom but stop and let ya live

Yes. While Henry rescues the kidnapped children, Reinhart and Carrie are taking care of dracula and the rest of the monsters.

I just realized they reused the boss theme for circle of the moon
It's actually vice versa. Circle takes a lot of music from older games including CV 1 and 3 and Bloodlines.
@@garuelx8627 I figured that as most games takes music from the older titles. I just thought the boss music was unique to circle much like how harmony and Aria had unique boss themes. Unless they're revamped versions

Wow, did not realize how little content this game had. The game looks real boring even for a speedrun.
This game has 3.5 campaigns, Henry's is just the shortest.
You can say Is part of The N64's Graveyard.

@@Stevie-J Agreed. However I did play super mario 64, that was no fog or pixel fest. It was amazing for its time. The PC has always had leg up on consoles, even more so with graphics cards.
We are finally at a stage where both consoles and PC's are closer to each other than ever (not talking about high end).
In my opinion, having 3 console makers, 2 of which are so close in terms of console strength, makes no sense anymore. The big 3 should turn to the PC platform and offer games via their own steam like app.
I know it will never happen.

Legends is worse. Haunted castle and order of shadows are much, much worse.
