"By The Grace Of God" was written by Andersson, Niklas Anders / Hakansson, Kenny Dick / Eriksson, Robert Matz / Lindstrom, Anders / Dahlquist, Robert.
By the Grace of God is the fifth album released by the Swedish rock band The Hellacopters. The CD version of the album came in three different combinations of the red, white and black cloud and lightning design. The design would become a trademark for the band and was used on backdrops, merchandise, different record covers and in music videos. The LP version released in Sweden had a black cover and vinyl while the European version had a white cover and vinyl. Limited edition versions of the album in Japan and America also featured "Red Lights" and the Rory Gallagher song "Big Gun" as bonus tracks. Another special American version also featured an embossed logo, a fold-up digipack and a patch.

I dunno if you noticed, but there's often some dude-ish, heroic tonality in 80s(-like) North-European hard'n'heavy singing, especially from Sweden :)
I mean they have some recognizable tone in their voices, often, and it shows in their singing. Listen to Europe - Seven Doors Hotel, Tony Carey's Planet P Project debut album, some Def Leppard, Roxette when the dude is singing.
Just one question, was the video originally in 4:3 and thet cropped it to fit a 16:9 aspect ratio? Or war or take recorded like this? They are decapitated most of the time.

It’s been almost 20 years since I saw them live! In 1999 they played in San Diego and at the Casbah opening for Supersuckers. The Hellacopters blew us and them away! It was really hard for them to go on after these guys. All In all it was one of the best shows I’ve ever seen ( and will forever be) my whole life.

I saw that show! Ha, small world. A few years later I saw the Backyard Babies open for Social D that when I made the HC & BB connection.
I've seen them a lot of times at small venues in sweden. Awesome as they are they are no more... One of my favourites of all times. Rock on Nicke!

It must have been roughly at the same time I saw the playing in Sweden at the university. I was there with a few friends after work. Somehow my friends ended up at the back and I ended up bare-chested in the mosh pit... XD

2002 April Hellacopters at Graceland was the show in Seattle!
Saw 1st gig in FIN and Farewells in Munich! Ohyeahjavisst. Standed accidently next to Your Bstage Door. Shouted to You Nicke something in Swinglish.... Got very many free Tequilas and Bears :D . De va Jätte Kul! In Åbo U used Entombeds Christiancross Amps and Dregen was runnin back and forth Shy dude we luktad gröna lundish. Had a Blast!!! Takkar för allt!

Basically they are the Swedish Guns n Roses if GNR didn't totally end up sucking. They sound more like American rock n roll than American rock n roll does.
