Thank you for another interesting and enjoyable video. My grandfather and grandmother worked their for entire life in the Provincial bank now part of A.I.B. They lived quiet, thrifty lives and bought shares in their own bank and reinvested the dividend by scrip. When they died some of these they had owned for 50 years. My mother inherited part of these, along with her siblings, valued at 140,000. My mother reinvested the dividend and the share price rocketed.. When the 2008 crash happened she was written to to see if she wanted to donate her shares of no value to charity. I have every sympathy for these unfortunate bankrupts. The people to blame are the ones who lent the money and they seem to have got away with no blame or loss.

Question for Terry Gorry and everybody here.
How is it possible for banks to write off millions of euros ? and take losses of millions of euros ?
where does money come from? how is money created ? who creates money ? can the money creators take a big loss and recover it via new money creation ?
is it all a big racket for money creators to turn people into debt slaves ?

Terry yes I won’t say that I love your presentation on this but I will not shoot the Messenger etc
As a couple who dealt with that situation in the terrible eighties I or we can see it from a maybe slightly different angle It is what it is and we high tailed it to Australia after paying our debits in full , yes it cost the Wank of Ireland a customer and some euros ,mind there was some good people and also some very stupid people working or should I say hanging on there , look no worries
As I said Australia has been very good for us and have no time for malingers that use the system to not pay their debts or the silly people who loaned the spondulacs in the first instance, now I must head into the sunshine for my tractor therapy G Luk
