- Jordanian security forces prevented thousands of demonstrators protesting against the war in Gaza from marching toward the Israeli embassy in Amman on Thursday night.
Police pushed back angry protesters who were shouting to march toward the embassy and at least one protester was detained during the protest.
For the fifth day in a row, more than 3,000 demonstrators gathered in front of Al-Kalouti Mosque, near the embassy.
