Yes, they're going off the visuals, it wasn't spelt out before (never used the term for him or male hexenbiests) this so they've just had a bit of exposition to make sure that everyone understands what he is. As for Adalind & the baby, she's no longer a Hexenbiest as Nick's blood killed that in her, what that means is something that you'll have to wait a little bit for... 🙂
Was looking forward to this reaction as they really went all the way with the eyes, worms & hairy tongue, Gah!
Nice explanation. So about the royals, did they ever find out what makes them so special? Are they Human, Grimm or Wesen? Maybe a completely different kind or creature? Do they have powers? I don't remember anything about them from the show.
I mean if you think about it, Sandman is quite creepy. He throws Sand into Kids Eyes to put them to sleep...
Also love how Nick gets depowered in this Episode and comes out even stronger...
And having Nick, Monroe, Rosalee and Hank just eating Dinner together talking about what Kind of Wesen the Captain is... We´ve come so far and yet we have a loooooong Way to go
I love Nick gaining new abilities
I love how everyone came together not only to help Nick but to kill the Wessen. I also like how creative this one was
I like this episode because we see one of my favourite things about Grimms. Getting a boost after being in a bad condition is a quite scary ability if you ask me. What don't kill them makes them stronger... literally.
I hope you keep enjoying this series, I know I did the first time. It gets better and better.

I love that Grimms are adaptable like that. Every time Nick is exposed to something from a wessen, his body adapts and gains from it
@@breezy3392 I think it's more that he hasn't trained properly or know what he's capable of. He could probably do it with training without a vessen.
Adalinds Austria-Arc with Frau Pech (wich actually means Mrs. Unlucky in German) is one of my Favs
It sucks that her character is a rapist and they just gloss over it
Yes whoever the father is the baby is going to be Royal, Adalind planned to get pregnant by a Royal, she didn't really cared which one.
Hes shown his face plently of times. That was the only reveal that he's a Hexenbeast. They have never come right out and said it, but the show has hinted towards it.

"Barbs in your eyeballs" Thanks Monroe, very calming, great bedside manner. :D Despite being a horrifying statement, the humour was much needed in this episode of nightmare fuel!
Easily the most disturbing episode yet. The scene in the hospital when they removed her bandage and the eye removal scene were nauseating. This season is fantastic, I'm so glad you didn't give up on the show.
Remember he's not really a hexenbeast. You like Rosalee said, he's a Zauberbeast

As a South African, it's always good to hear South Africa mentioned, though most of the time, our actors end up as the baddies, due to the accent
My favorite South African actress is Lesley-Ann Brandt. She is fantastic in the TV series Lucifer and her character is very complex. She even chose to speak a little bit of Afrikaans during the later seasons.
I think this is the grossest episode.

The story from which the title card is from is sooooo annoying, I had to read it in German class and I didn't understand a thing about the story until out principal explained it to me (The Sand Man by E.T.A Hoffmann)
