I personally think it was a bit to much, like they wanted him to suffer but didn't know how so they kept adding betrayal on top of another betrayal and another and even another one... Just to make his background as pitiful as they could. Honestly, I think 2 betrayals would be enough... But 4 in total is a bit to much in my opinion. I personally like the character's stories to have decent amount of suffering without exceeding to much of that overly suffering, if that makes sense?

The song is called Oshakashama by RADWIMPS, and with the context of the song, it's basically Scaramouche's view on Gods and think he will be a better God while being raw on his emotions just to stop existing anyway.
Everything is so symbolic that someone who doesn't know the storyline would find this video quite... strange from an outside perspective. (Like at 0:32 where the statue is probably one of Ei's, how 4 of the 7 archons are hung to his fingers at 0:48, and 1:22 which I can't really explain in words but very symbolic, and 1:32 where to some people we just see him get shoes but to people who know the story it's a timeline of his life, 1:40 where Haypasia just looks like some random yandere girl but it's his POV of his first follower, 1:43 when we see people who changed his life, from 1:55 reference to the cutscene, 2:11 "The Wanderer" in Nahida's temple of Wisdom or at the same timestamp, electro to anemo, representing the Baladeer and Honda/Wanderer, to name the most noticeable of details.) Amazing video!

every once in a while i come back to this video and the tiny little nugget in my brain that control's empathy has a melt down. you can really feel the emotion in this video just from the song and the imaging.
Every second of this is absolutely incredible. The end was so cool!! I love Wanderer so much, I can't wait to learn more about him and see how his story will go. As it is far from over.
I hope we see him again in the future, now that he is with his new mommy Nahida he have a new purpose in life and can finally go his own path, not only that but he can help Nahida and us from behind the scenes, he really needed an ally that is not region locked.

I LOVE THIS SO MUCH! I keep on going back,. This portrays basically his life as a puppet up until now. The way he was a test subject for both Raiden and even Dottore. No one ever see him because he is on the underground all the time (he's the test subject on all of Dottore's experiments) that's why when Mona foreseen that he is a harbinger (unreconciled stars), he's very shocked and wondered how did she know. I think being anemo suits him very well after all he spent his life being manipulated. Freedom is what he seeks the most and now he got it. Having a new life in a "new" or pretty much cleanse body (he's still the same. Rukkhadevata said it was "incarnation" meaning same person different persona/body. One of a series of lifetimes that a person spends on earth) would be great cause he won't feel the freedom if his "old body" his going to use to start a new life. Scara's story is one of the best genshin's written character so far. I'm looking forward to other characters and their story as well. LOVE IT!
That whole video made me feel so sad as I usually do for Scaramouche, but even more sad, but that ending was so nice, because he moved on from the past. (Very according to Genshin lores as always 👍)

time & effort while still being resourceful they did not make their own song, which isnt necessary bc it fanwork to begin with, for the rest, they reduced time by using parts of the game itself, and also when there is any movement, the adjustment in frames was limited, but the timing is perfect, and it still gives the intended effect they gave motion to the screen by sliding a full image away a little instead of redrawing too much the same is done by a lot of other assets they have, ofc while still adding some smearing effects and in case anyone is interested the starting part is done by masking sometimes the hair is most likely made easier to animate by having proper layer management mainly relying on rotation to save time and because the screen captures mainly his face, but the first part of hair movement is done highly detailed, time is saved by making it a loop and re-using frames the expressions are very well done OP has my clappers for this (applaud/praise)

スカラマシュが七神を模した人形とかをぼーっと見つめるところとか、稲妻の心をちょっと触ってみるところとかが特に好きです。
また、最後の雷の神の目が、風の神の目に変わるのが凝っていて好きです。
後、歌詞と内容がリンクしていて耳も目も幸せでした！
まだ七神やアビスなど分からないことも多い原神ですから、動画を作るのも大変だったと思います(それもver3.3実装から2週間ちょっとでこのクオリティ…！)。

time & effort while still being resourceful
they did not make their own song, which isnt necessary bc it fanwork to begin with,
for the rest, they reduced time by using parts of the game itself, and also when there is any movement, the adjustment in frames was limited,
but the timing is perfect, and it still gives the intended effect
they gave motion to the screen by sliding a full image away a little instead of redrawing too much
the same is done by a lot of other assets they have, ofc while still adding some smearing effects
and in case anyone is interested the starting part is done by masking
sometimes the hair is most likely made easier to animate by having proper layer management mainly relying on rotation to save time and because the screen captures mainly his face,
but the first part of hair movement is done highly detailed, time is saved by making it a loop and re-using frames
the expressions are very well done
