I love rice balls, especially with tempura. Never eaten tempura before so i went to a small japanese shop with my brother and we got mochi and fried tempura rice balls and man was it great. Kinda wanna make one myself
White rice is life. A bit of salt and its perfect. On the balkan we add a drop of oil to the rice to prevent it from sticking. You can even bake it in the oven with some peas, which we call " risi pisi"
OMG! Could you please try adding ramen seasoning (the seasoning oil AND the powder) to rice and then make it into a fried rice ball.. sprinkle sesame seeds and spring onion on top for the closure
Rice is awesome I’ve never even heard of people thinking rice is flavor less or unappealing, like even on its own rice is great but there’s basically an endless variety of ways you can prepare it
Plain white rice to me is meant to be used alongside an almost overwhelmingly savory meat and it's meant to help balance the flavor so its not too much
What's best is this: first put a bit of oil on pan and saute one clove of garlic and some onion and put in all the rice you want to put that is not too much, and cook all of that for a little bit, add tiny salt and crack one egg, keep cooking and mixing stirring the rice so the egg gets cooked evenly throughout the rice. One you know the egg is cooked within the rice, put the new cooked rice with salt garlic onion and eeegggg on a plate and eat. Enjoy! Try it! It's delicious! This delicious cooked rice with egg all over and sauted garlic onion is called "sinangag" here in the Philippines.
I may be weird but in my household I have a Jamaican dad and we sometimes have rice and friend chicken. He takes the juices off the fried chicken off the bottom of the pan and he mixes it with gravy and pores it over the rice. It is so nice. I love it’s it’s one of my comfort meals
We also have rice and fried chicken in my house, but instead of making gravy we just make a really strongly flavored chicken that you eat with the rice as a sort of palate cleanser. It's good!

Remember folks, let things cool down before you put them in foil wrap. If you put them in hot there will be condensation which leads to mold.
