Acun is been accused of taking his eye off the ball and not been there when it matter the next people are saying he's picking the team each week. Don't think it can be both
Good managers have always had to take young players under their wing. Going way way back. That is nothing new. And the best always knew who needed an arm round the shoulder and who needed a rocket. Man management has always been there. This is nothing new. What is new, and I think this is not Pep's fault but it is because of Pep's success, is that a thought has crept in that a system with pliable robots can beat any opposition. I watched Liverpool outplay Real and Man City this week, I also chanced upon a video of them winning at Southampton in 1982. It was hard to spot the difference. Now either there's a remarkable coincidence there, or different good managers have grasped the basics of the game, that involve talent and yes some sort of system to suit, but that it's the players and their combination and empowerment to express themselves on the pitch that win things and if not then entertain the fans.
Those who defended him over Liam's sacking and covered it up ADMIT YOU WAS WRONG AND NAIVE! I absolutely know this was not only was a stupid decision i knew it would have a knock on effect in a bigger way and thats the way its turned out.
Because he's doing such a good job at Strasbourg? I liked Rosie, but lets not kid ourselves he would be doing any better with this squad. Delap ect would not have stayed here with him over playing PL football. How many times last season did we drop points by not being ruthless enough and finishing teams off?

Bc , does go on a bit😅
Well we're in this mess cos Acun interfered bought players no-one asked for & didn't like it when a manager stood up to him.
Going well isn't it.
