When John Higgins put everything into beating Mark Allen, the Same happened to Stuart Bingham beating Ronnie.
You have to be ruthless throughout a tournament to become the champion in the end.

Been a huge Ronnie fan since I was started watching snooker as a kid in the 90s.
To see Jones not only get to the final of the Crucible but to have beaten Zhang Anda, Si Jiahui, Judd Trump and Stuart Bingham on the way to the final is incredible.
He was the underdog in every match and will be the underdog again in the final.
Neither Jones or Kyron have had a particularly close match all the way through the tournament.
I think if Jones can hang in there early with Kyron and keep it a close match he will win. If Kyron gets anything like a 6-2 lead early I think it will be tough to pin him back.

    Well done Jack.
Hard luck for Bingham who fought so much to reach the semi final.
Binhham won Osulivan simply due to his strong mental concentration and playing slow speed snooker frames for which Osulivan couldn't co-op with.
However, tactics remains main part of the game.
Frankly, I was very unhappy that Osulivan couldn't win for the eighth time, however, it seemed that the champ was never in the right state of mind during the tournament.
Good luck for whomever wins this year's world snooker championship.

What’s a „certain amount of money“? Are you saying top players like Trump and O‘Sullivan gladly risk lifelong bans and casually throw away another very good chance at winning the world championship for some dozens of grands? When reaching the semifinal alone would have gotten each of them 100k? Another 100k for the final? Additional 300k for winning the whole thing?
