We thought it was much better having a wander around most days instead of cramming it all in. There are two entrances for hotel guests to access the park, one by the beach and one near the reception. You also get a discount on some of the extra activities. I paid $50 to swim with sharks! Enjoy

I like the idea of bringing walking shoes. Blisters would suck! If I have a little backpack to carry my shoes and other things in (like water bottle) are there lockers at each water activity to store the backpack in?
Nope! Lockers are located in one central location. But river swims have a really neat system of retriving any items you have on hand. You simply leave your item in a locked bag in the beginning of swim and pick it up with your tag number at the end of the swim.
Did they let you buy the photo package And extra excursions with card? Or did they only take cash? Also did the charge extra for using car? About How much was the picture packet?? Sorry I’m going in two week and just trying to be extra prepared! Also did they consider crocs as water shoes
Yes we purchased our excursion with card. The photo pass we bought with our ticket at home online which was also with card. No extra charges with card. The photo pass was about $75 or free if your staying at xcaret hotel. I have no idea if they consider crocs as water shoes. Hope this helps!

its the season you went, ive been multiple times and xcaret was always vibrant with crystal clear water, i go in august or march/april.
