So many teams in the final games just giving up against City even before the game starts. Villa fileded a B-team, Fulham yesterday was nothing like they can be at home and just in general teams just concede to city without putting up a fight even.
Just conveniently leaving out Notts Forrest, who properly went for it and arguably should have won.

We should style up and stop this nonsense of expecting others to fight our battles, we should be realistic! We should just play our game and hope for the best and worst case scenario. We will point fingers later or celebrate. For now focus on Man United. I hope the players are not having this behavior because if they are then we have lost before we even kick a ball.
Had Arsenal actually gone for it at the Etihad and tried to beat city they wouldn’t be in this position. Instead they got arrogant and thought a draw would suffice and they would roll over teams like Aston Villa.
Nonsense. The plan to playon counters was working they just failed at finishing. If Arsenal were more open they would likely lose 3-0 and the talking point would have been Arteta is so naive and unexperienced (see Ange for reference)

We would've most likely got thumped 4-1 again. I think the key game that we bottled in was the Villa game. Arteta made a terrible mistake by putting Havertz in midfield even after he has shown us that he is good upfront. He left natural midfielders like Partey and Jorginho on the bench and paid for it. For me, that is the game that costed us the title, not the one at the Etihad.
Getting a point away against city is not bad. The Villa story is what hurts the most.

As a Liverpool fan, it's nice to see Arsenal fans going through the same cycle of hope then dejection i've felt watching Liverpool trying to topple City in seasons past. I cling on to the fact that Man Utd even after dominating the league for 20 years still fell away when sir Alex left. One day Pep will leave and I wonder how City will cope even with their riches.

I have always seen the spurs game as the most likely, even as average as they have been recently they have a great record against City I think better than any other team since Pep has been in charge we can live in hope!
