How’s the seibon trunk holding up to the wing? I have my BattleAero GT wing coming shortly and want to install it on my seibon trunk. Worried about it breaking the trunk, and what’s this rattle/shake I’m hearing about? Would rubber gasket stop that?
Notorious P seems to be holding up fine right now. I haven’t really driven the car much but there’s no cracks or anything happening to the trunk. And mine doesn’t really shake much. It shakes side to side alittle but not much.
BRRRZ_Evan ok I’m just worried about it cracking the trunk. Track speed I get up to about 100+ haha. Hopefully it holds up!? If not we’ll I’m sol. Out of a carbon trunk and a wing lol
Hey you didn’t make any support brackets? Just washers? I talked to seibon they said it’ll warp and tear the carbon over time. Think I may make brackets for underneath the trunk lid
Jose do you mean shake? I haven’t really driven the car since I installed it. I drove it back to my house and that was it. I noticed on the highway that it shook just alittle. But regular street driving it was fine.
BRRRZ_Evan Yeah rattle/shake. I’m getting my widebody installed soon and I considered a battle aero wing but some guys at the shop said that battle aero was built poorly and shakes after 55 mph, When it was shaking was bad? And also did it make a lot of nice?
No noise that I heard. And it was probably around 70mph when I noticed it moving alittle. Ive had a big country labs wing in the past also and that one moved a little too.
Jose I believe it was the 70” or something like that. It wasent the biggest one. It sits flush with the mirrors, so it’s inward from the widebody alittle bit.

Notorious P yeah I have yet to go over 100. Tracks I go to around me I’ll def hit over 100 so gotta make sure it stays on lol
