Rubber gaskets, like what come with a lot of fender flare, would be the best bet for sealing it against the weather

JP true mate, but it’s not as easy to remove the nuts when you need to take them off, in my opinion anyway dude!
It'll look even wider once the panels are painted. absolute quality.

Get a carbon fiber hood for the brz and put the subaru badge on the front bumper

Lock washer or lock tight, everyone of those is gonna rattle loose and too keep tightening them and maintaining that is gonna be a nightmare
I'd say lock tight and maybe? Rubber washers, depends on how much the kit rattles

Great idea, so when he wants to take it back off every bolt snaps out of its fibreglass cocoon and ruins the whole install 😂

Looks great Robbie. Hit all those fresh cut/drilled sheet metal edges with some rustoleum sealing primer or your body will rust very quickly. Paint and clear coat prevents that from factory, but without it will rust within a few months.

Looks great. Cool idea about the fiberglass to hold the mounting bolts. You could also use 3M Panel Bonding Adhesive to hold them. That's what they use to glue panels instead of welding these days. Strong stuff. 👌

I seen your first video from when you got the kit, in my recommended videos. Been watching since, and I'm honestly impressed which is hard to do. I respect that you're not some rich kid with access to a fully furnished and stocked shop like tj, but you're doing this literally in your garage and all hands on learning as you go. Seeing you take chances and risks, builds others confidence to try shit on their own and not being scared of fucking something up, because it can always be fixed. I'll be watching and possibly subscribing. Hopefully I'm not disappointed because I see great things from you so far.

So, I have a 2021 Camry TRD and there's a widebody kit by Battle Aero. I'm discussing the idea on Toyota Nation forums and getting hated on for even thinking I can do it myself. Saving me thousands of dollars I don't have. This particular video series motivated me to do it any ways. I wish you would go more in depth on how to seal the inner wheel wells and liners. I'm trying to learn as much as possible!!!!
