Take the struts off then you can get to to bolts with a socket wrench. You just have to have someone else hold the trunk lid while you remove the bolts.

The Seibon has the preslotted holes, maybe if you bought one meant for a 17+ it would have the hole too. Because Seibon claims to fit all of 2012-2018. Just food for thought
