This list confused me at first because I thought it was a personal list. I was like “wow he really changed his opinions a lot after one weekend.” Finally realized it was result based and makes A LOT more sense.
I started like a month ago barely learned to play two weeks ago and man I've really been enjoying this game more than other tcgs I've been playing. Glad I found this channel 🎉
Same! I’m coming from yugioh tcg and I decided to try and get back into pokemon tcg and I have been having a blast since. No regrets switching
Same! Came from MTG and it's a blast. I'm just really annoyed by the non existent mulligan decisions and dusknoir is a little silly - but the game and meta seem really healthy
Using CBT strategies to promote good headspaces in the game is really smart
in my locals it's usually frowned upon when i use cock and ball torture techniques
Where do you put Gardevoir EX in comparison to these decks? I feel it is a really solid deck with many paths to victory but doesn’t have the glitter and glam of new cards to keep people interested in playing. That said, with the inclusion of Fez, the consistency of setting up your board goes way up because Gardi plays from behind anyway.
I think gardy is still generally a top 10 deck around tier 2, but it didn’t perform well in the opening weekend of stellar crown events which is why it’s not on this list. Like you said Fez is an issue, but gardy still has enough strength and functionality to be worth playing if it’s a deck you’re really well versed with.
Oh boy, I've built so many fun decks that are very different from each other, and I can't wait to try them out at my league!
I have Palkia/Dusknoir, Dragapult/Dusknoir, Charizard/Dusknoir, Terapagos/Dusknoir, Raging Bolt/Ogerpon (with Dusknoir), Bannete/Dusknoir, Pidgeot/Dusknoir, and last but not least, Dusknoir/Dusknoir!
Lol, so do you like dusknoir then? 😂
Dusknoir is broken...
I'm having a lot of fun with my Rainbow Palkia Box (water, grass & lightning). Thorton, Iron Leaves ex, and Crispin are really fun, powerful cards.
I also think Dragapult ex is BDIF. It reminds me so much of Giratina VStar with all the hand disruption, catchers, and spread damage. Literally a two turn (or less???) closer. It's a super dangerous deck w/o many ways to counter it.
What is the best deck to build right now for a beginner to get into Pokemon tcg?
That masterclass sounds like just what I've been looking for! I'm going to have to check it out soon I just started learning the game with my partner and I think I'll definitely want to try out the competitive seen soon
Haxarous in Regidrago decks is worth a mention, good single prize attacker that is REALLY good into the Lugia matchup
Im new to the Game but Iam lowkey confused. Isnt there 60 Cards in a Deck? Because i tried to Rebuild the Glurak Ex deck but i realised that there are more than 60 cards
I just started playing like a week ago and im really enjoying Roaring Moon ex
Hey I'm new and I want to pick between iron thorns or terapagos. What will last longer? What's easier? I don't really get Pokemon tcg yet
Iron thorns is definitely easier but imo it gets boring. Both decks will stick around for 2 years+
Do you think getting the palkia league battle deck is worth it to get into the game and slowly build it like the #10 decks? I’m a new player and I did hear rotation is happening so I’m looking to see what’s worth building for longish term
The palkia league deck has too much older stuff in it. decks are honestly pretty cheap to build just by purchasing singles but if you want a good pre built product I’d get either the Charizard or gardveoir league battle deck
Some people hate Snorlax, but I feel more defeated watching a Charizard player simply win because… their cards are simply stronger. Cant kill Zard efficiently. Every turn they have what they need. The deck sometimes feels like it only loses if it gets unlucky.
Super interesting 🔥 Meta right now is super interesting
Wouldn't Sparking Crystal or Legacy Energy make more sense in that Farigiraf deck or is the decking out of the opponent the only goal so one rather takes the +100HP with Hero's Cape?
Yeah any attacking can be done with the colorless energy cost attacks in the deck like Pidgeot ex when you need to remove one of your opponents only attacking options - then just wall them out the rest of the game.
Is it good to go first in pokemon? I come from yugioh where its kinda go first or go home.
It depends on the meta and the deck you’re playing. For a year or two we’ve had a lot of decks that chose second to use supporters, but currently most decks are choosing first.
Guys where to buy Pokémon cards for decks in eu?
Card market
I switched my control stall farigiraf to a grass ogerpon ex but I don’t have the cards irl do you know anywhere where I could get the cards i need
Tcg player
9:46 Its everybody's favorite, Snor.....
🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄
I love playing control stall. Does that make me a bad person?
Nah, I love me some control. Straight up stall bores me, though.
Yes
