Speedy, i think it would be a lot easier if you put a staircase next to the creeper part with a door connecting it so you can just open the door and pick up the disc. It's really simple so even sidearms could help.

instead of putting the half slabs on the pistons just put full blocks on sticky pistons, put 1 redstone dust under the block holding the pressure plate, and a block two above the pressure plate so they can't jump out, I think the half slabs would block the arrows
+KYRSP33DY you should put a hopper and chest under the creeper spot and an underground tunnel from your spot leading to the creeper's spot, also maybe just put a ladder going up by the trapdoor from your spot instead of stairs so it's more compact
Watching all these again in 2020 the worlds falling apart its all doom and gloom but these manage to put a smile on me face
