    The superbly crafted & eye-catching lathe turned handle is filled with uniquely sourced Sovereign grade synthetic fibre.
    Sovereign grade synthetic fibres are super-soft, softer than any badger hair brush, yet this brush still has good backbone due to the density of the hair. It will lather up any shaving creams or hard shaving soaps with ease. There are many more benefits to a synthetic shaving brush versus a badger hair shaving brush:
    - Synthetic hair is more durable than badger
    - Synthetic shaving brushes tend to be cheaper than badger hair brushes
    - Synthetic shaving brushes don't shed hair
    - Synthetic shaving brushes are better for your skin
    - No animal had to die
    The large-sized handle fits nicely in the palm of your hand allowing you a firm grip when lathering up.
    This brush comes well presented in a Simpsons branded presentation box.

    A beautiful brush. I favour synthetic knots nowadays.
    You said "Simpson of England". I thought Simpson was still based on the Isle of Man. I believe they were based in England before they merged with Vulfix.
    And you said "a 26 inch diameter"... a huge brush indeed. 😀 I guess you mean millimetres.

    The best Shave Brush on the market today is my Simpson Trafalgar's T-3, better then boar cheaper in the long run, it is 29mm. i mic it' it's like buying a $275 Badger hair brush, no cleaning the brush, no need for a brush stand, fast drying time, well not fall apart like a Badger Hair or boar can, cheap to buy, I have owned it for 5 Years with no hair loss with no problems wheelchair Larry Merry Christmas

    Question, which will be softer and less ‘scratchy’, Simpson synthetic trafalgar T2 or their chubby 2 synthetic? Grateful for anyone’s views please.

    • @ExecutiveShaving
      @ExecutiveShaving  3 года назад +2

      Same fibres used on both brushes.
      Simpson synthetic fibres are springy, this brush has the very latest G4 fibres: www.executive-shaving.co.uk/executive-shaving-ultimate-g4-synthetic-shaving-brush
      This is our top-seeling brush by a huge margin, the fibres are softer than Simpson yet it has good backbone:

    Hi, Brian. Thank you for this video. I'm new to wet DE shaving and I recently bought a Simpson T3. I've been having a bad experience with mine and I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong or if I've received a defective brush.
    The brush builds a lather very well but when I try to apply lather to my face, it doesn't lay on thick and evenly. It does the opposite. With each stroke I make, the brush wipes lather off my face. The more strokes I make, the less lather ends up on my face. It's very frustrating. I've tried different shave soaps (Proraso, ToOBS, Mitchell's) and different stroke methods (figure eight, holding the handle, holding the knot etc.) but nothing has helped. I thought maybe the brush needed to be broken in and would work better with time but it's been six weeks and no change.
    Have you ever experienced this with a shave brush? Do you have any recommendations?

    • @ExecutiveShaving
      @ExecutiveShaving  2 года назад +1

      Our advice would be to try applying less pressure when using the brush and paint the lather onto your face using only the tips of the brush!
