- My husband made a IBC tote into a pig feeder a few weeks ago and this is what I know about how it was made.
If you would like to gift our little homestead here is how you can do that. www.amazon.com...
If you are looking for the items I use in this or other videos I will add them to my store so that you can easily find the items.

Great idea! Just what I need for my pigs!
Like the design. May make one like that in the future. The self feeders I have made do not allow as many pigs to eat at one time.
I'm gonna tell my son in law about this channel. He bought 57 acres and pasture raised pigs would be right up his alley
Thanks hoping to get more out this week.
Thanks I am trying to do more pigs as they will be my bigger focus through the whole year.
Hi I would not worry about rotten feed in the feeder they will eat it and it won't hurt them. We ferment a lot of feed for our pigs.
Thanks we had some get rained on in transport and spoiled but I tossed the wet stuff out to the chickens they didn't mind it. Thanks for stopping over too.
Nice video
Thank you so much.
Place ten over the top that will keep out water or keep it under a structure like a 3 side or lean-to
Yes we had a very dry year so it was not a big issue but that's the plan.
What is the largest pigs that feed from this thank you for the vidieo
We had a sow in with it. I don't remember in the video how big the openings are but now we have them so that 2 bars are cut out. We don't feed our breeders with the IBC tote. They get 4lbs a day except on winter when pregnant, then 6lbs a day 14%.
@@virnafarm9059 thank you for your quick reply look forward to next vidieo
Our internet at the new farm is really bad hope to get some up soon though.
@@virnafarm9059 ok will be on the look out
Did y’all have to sanitize that tote ?
We didn't this tote had teat dip from a local farm we rinsed it out good and lat it sit in the sun to dry and that was it. We don't sell our pork as organic but do try to keep it as chemical free as we possibly can.
