- You probably already know what you need to do to be successful on social media. The problem most people face though is the fear of judgment from the people commenting about sharing true self. So many people are faking it and not posting what is true to them because of their fear of judgment. Before you can make content on social media, you need to stop worrying about comments about your content.

Perfectionism procrastination. This is all so common with people taking that leap. They are shackles by the fear of judgement, either by themselves or others. This often stops them from starting or progressing. Just be true to yourself and start taking action

Don't be afraid to show your true self. Stop worrying about those comments, know your worth and your value. Be motivated and help those haters of yours to be better and help them express their true self.

I'm from Malaysia and I'm fed up of my family expectation that I need to follow their opinion not mine...I love to have college education and to have a degree but the problem is my parents does not allow me to work outside from my hometown they want to stay with them & to be pampered. Im nearly 30 now & regret that i didnt take action when i was younger (6 years ago) , I dont want to be regret when I get older. My parents always want me to please people especially family members. I want to have fliexible life not a control life.

I am scared of being judged, being seen as someone I am not, described with adjectives I don’t identify with. But getting over these things, this fear, I believe is an internal one where I may never be rid of the feeling of fear, but just have to learn to be okay with that.
I love to make videos but I was deathly afraid to vlog in public, which is ironic because I am a really social and outgoing person but that fear of judgement from others completely took over. One day I took my camera out to a city fair with LOTS of people and I realized two things; 80% of the people didn't even care or notice, 10% that did notice kinda just laughed which helped me feel more relaxed and able to shrug it off more and the other 10% that were super judgy pants, we both will forgot that brief exchanged moment 5 mins later. Second thing I realized, I was petrified with fear and letting in all these false illusions in my head but once I took that leap, I realized how ridiculous I was being for thinking that way! A lot of people respect that bravery to be that vulnerable in public.
I hope this helps someone who is shy to make content in public! I encourage you to take that leap and you'll quickly notice that its not as bad as your mind illustrates it to be.

This is so me right now, I'm starting a health & fitness RUclips channel and would LOVE to film what I do at the gym but I just can't bring myself to do it yet because of the fear of judgment, I did record a video for my IG story but not in the way I wanted. I need to take the leap and just DO it!! Thank you for writing this

Focus on your inner values not on other people opinions.
Although I do have a problem with being myself around strangers, and fearing the judgement of them, that is not the worst part for me. Even with the closest of friends and family, I fear that I will be judged for being myself although they are perfectly accepting of a lot of things. I have the struggle of showing myself to people in the way I want to, but there is no reason for me hiding everything.

No amount of books will give you the "secret" that you need to be successful and happy. Like Gary says all the time, execute on your truths and don't trust anyone's opinion except your own (unless it's well-thoughout).
