- Welcome back to my channel. Thank you for staying tuned. I'm super excited sharing my Nigeria travel experience with you, In this video, I experienced my first train experiece in Lagos, Nigeria as a Ghanaian, it was awesome. I hope you enjoy this video.
Lagos, Nigeria’s largest city, sprawls inland from the Gulf of Guinea across Lagos Lagoon. Victoria Island, the financial center of the metropolis, is known for its beach resorts, boutiques and nightlife. To the north, Lagos Island is home to the National Museum Lagos, displaying cultural artifacts and craftworks. Nearby is Freedom Park, once a colonial-era prison and now a major venue for concerts and public events. ― Google

WE MUST CONNECT THE WHOLE AFRICAN CONTINENT WITH TRAIN SERVICES / ONE CURRENCY ...ONE PEOPLE
👍
Yh, that's, Nigeria next step, some of the major highways are now going to have train stations linking the whole country, buh lagos is first linking the whole of lagos together, we still have 4 more type of trains coming up after the blue and red, the green, yellow, orange and purple
I think the commercial vehicles are yellow coloured
Those are private. State government is already replacing them with the blue buses. Just like the train you can only access the blue buses with the card. People go for the blue buses because they have dedicated lanes and they have a fixed price as well as comfortable interiors. They don't stuff in more people into the bus to make extra cash and that's something the yellow buses are known for.
Dear, pls tell Akabenza of kumasi to come back to Lagos Nigeria and shoot some lovely comedy video😂
😂😂 how I wish I can tell him this
Efya K, I would like to know some of your basics language in Ghana and what's the meaning of asiaa?😊@@EfyaKimora
visit Lekki thats where you will meet succefful people that will help you, Lekki and victoria island finally Ikoyi this is where you should focus and make friends who will help you become successful. dont stay in the mainland, try to stay at the Island thats where u will be comfortable its all about success there, mainland will make you strong and you will be agressive hustler .
Bad advice, from being in the mainland, she has slowly built her account, still posting dope contents, she’s visiting Lagos, if she seeks helpers, God will send her one, not you stretching her to your own classism.
Don't mind him. It's the stupid being pushed by some that the Island is superior. What is missing is how bad the infrastructure is there. Ikeja is very nice with better infrastructure and lots to do
Stupid advice
The truth is that the rest of Lagos don't know how the people over in that part of Lagos see the rest of Lagos now. this guy has just told u how does living in that part of the state see the rest of the people still living in the mainland. look that's where u see a lot of people living fake lives although the state government statistic show that the local government is the richest in the state and also generates almost 90% of the state GDP and the reality is that there are more successful Nigerians living in that part of the state and also has a lot of access to good infrastructures and both government and private investment too. so to he's word as someone who has visited that place and like to live in that part of the state and also own an investment over there I will not take offense to what he said but the way he has said it am sure will put a lot of Nigerians off but not a lot of people hunting for success any way because that place is the only local government area in the whole of Lagos that u can enjoy about 95% of real estate that are about 25 to 30 old that's to tell u that most time when u get any type of apartment in that part of the state the possibility of u been the first person in the apartment or the second or third tenant is very high that how to tell u about the newness of a very vase and develop area is u can also give it a try as a Nigerian it's worth trying mostly when u have cash or contacts in that area but if u go there to roam they will not entertain u at all because they only wants the already made not the hustlers that's how life is over there
@@gabaski1885 Write like you went to school. Assuming you did. Geez!

Pls the titile of the song in the background
I don't remember, I use random songs
Finally,Nigeria has complete their train way project, hope it last oooo
This is Lagos state train not Nigeria
@@marony3529 and where lagos dey abeg,Mr corrector(aka sabinus),beside the last time I checked it's called "Nigeria electronic train"🤔🇳🇬💯
@@deraclinton2430there' nothing like Nigeria electronic train. This electric train was built and operated by the Lagos state government not the federal government of Nigeria. The federal government NRC also has functioning trains that run between different states and they don't run on electric.
@@samthecreator10 lol,bro trains are electronics functions, that's why in the western world they refer it to "metro transport"
@@deraclinton2430 are you kidding me? Do you know the meaning of metro?
There's no point continuing with you cos you obviously don't even understand the words you are using.
Do some reading before commenting. Saying "Lol" doesn't make u sound smart.
YOU ARE HOME SISTER...AKWAABA...
Thank you
what is the name of the intro music?
I selected it from RUclips studio
My question is how do you get the card you load for the train?.
The card was for a Nigerian friend
You can get the Cowry card at any train or BRT bus station. You get one and they load it right there for you. Very easy
@@blackcoraltv6787 thank you
There is no difficult in getting the card. Is a matter of pay your cash and the card will be issued access entrance gate to the train platform where you will board the train.
My country is not bad as people and social media portrays it ...
Yes
That man in native was too close considering you re a stranger
Is it that Ghana has different pronounciation accents, this Efya sounds more like Nigerians.
Because im in the country 🥰👍
Nigeria is almost like Ghana oo
Did Ghana also has electric sky train like Lagos? Did Ghana also has mainland and island?Did Ghana has an intra city rail system especially in Accra? I want to go to Ghana and experience it 😊
Of course, in terms of hospitality the fact that you meet people and they understand you. You blend in well and nobody will know you're a foreigner unless you tell them unlike in European countries when someone will call the cops on you cos a black man (you) is walking down the street.
Shut up they are not the same.. Lagos is ahead of ghana.
Lagos is ahead of Ghana
😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅@@user-mf2bi2bt7u
Is that train actually an electric?
In your mind you're thinking Nigeria doesn't have electricity to power the train. ...Nigeria has moved on tey tey!
It's electric
Pain straight, u think u truely don't have electricity as u people love to believe
These yellow buses must be scrapped ...I know it will be sad and controversial but sometimes change is the hardest thing 😢😢😢
Or atleast change the color. That yellow makes it look dirty
@malvytheoo lol they need to scrap it all together...and roll out more brts and flm buses ..they already have more than enough transport services
imagine all these buses on the streets of london or Berlin. BRT should be the only thing allowed. I was thinking if it could be set by law that conductors can't be shouting for passengers, such a mess and noise pollution. We enter buses in europe, we use buses in america, but they don't need conductors shouting because they use their heads to develop a system where that wouldn't be needed.
I think blue and white is more pleasant to the eyes. I am a nigerian I don't like the yellow color commercial bus either.
Like,I wish they ban it just like the okadas and instead let everyone use the blue and white ones.😊
So why are most of their cars yellow?
The yellow cars (taxis) and buses are public transportation vehicles.
Oooh okay
@@interestingthingstoknow8975 I see
@@EfyaKimora Yes,...and the blue and white buses (Last mile buses) you also entered below the Marina Station are also public transportation buses...the yellow colored ones are more synonymous with Lagos. Lagos is highly popular for the yellow colored buses...
The yellow buses are the trademark of Lagos they operate in Lagos and Ogun State. However the section of the yellow buses in Lagos are privately owned public transport sector. They are run by private operators and they're currently the only transport operators still taking cash payment in Lagos. The Blue buses are of different sizes and made for different purposes large and medium buses (BRT) ply the major roads while the small buses like the ones at the station take you to your final destination (doorstep) They are only accessible with the COWRY card (same card used on the train) which is also being used on the LAG FERRY. Whenever you're required to use the COWRY Card, either it on the bus, train or ferry, just know that you're using the government owned transport system.
Electric train you mean?
Yes
Sorry for in ur mind u think we don't truely have electricity as ghanains love to believe.

@@EfyaKimorashe means she's scared of heights 😂
I mean Ghanaians are our neighbors but they have the worst misconception about us a lot of us are in Ghana if we don't love them we wouldn't be living in their country, the last afcon game Ghanaians supported ivory cost instead of Nigeria a francophone country i Know is thesame west Africa. Not all of them sha oo.
