Very helpful and easy to understand. My bf's mom said she put in a new cartridge but the machine wasn't recognizing it, all I had to do was take it out and put it back in 👍

please clarify something.
Arounf point 3mins, did you mean that in this printer you can only take off the used catridge while the printer continues to function without it?
This is an age old irritation of many people with these Epson printers and I have had enough.
Imagine not being able to continue printing in Black because another colour I do not need is empty

I can’t get the cartridge case to mover over from the right so I can access the cartridges.
this printer is completely inconvenient and in a time of high stress economic shut downs, and little money as well as not wanting to go to store as much as possible due to a pandemic this machinery cannot print unless all ink cartridges are replaced at the same time? if i can only afford the black ink and want to print in greyscale and black ink why can i not do this? I am hindered because magenta is not filled ? in what world is this acceptable for the consumer, all cartridges are placed correctly all of them can be read, i dont need color printing at this time, and frankly you could just give me my money back since your machinery is inept.

YES! this machine is impossible to use. I am still trying to set up. the ink cartridge tray won't slide and nothing in the instructions as to how to make it happen. I got the cartridges in, but it's still "charging" after about an hour of waiting. about ready to return it
Go to maintenance from the home screen, select printer ink/catridge replacement and press the start button.

It's an older printer, the ink has been there for ages at least a few years, can't figure out how to get the cartridges in the middle so you can remove the old ink.
Hi i know this was posted a year ago, but im absolutely desperate for help and i don't know where to turn! Im sat here in tears because i have changed the ink like i have done before, (although im pretty new to having a printer and have never used one before) i changed the black ink as the others are still full (the black was aswell but it said it wasn't) this item i need a label for is extremely urgent and has to go out ASAP, but it's saying ink/toner is expended, but it's a new cartridge, and i ev changed the new one, to another thinking it may be a dud, but i really don't know what to do now! Im disabled and don't drive unfortunately and live alone, so i have to do all my work through courier collection, and i have paid alot of money for this label, and i can't print it off! Please please 🙏 can you find just 2 minutes to help me please 🙏 i have nobody else 😭 😭 thank you so much 👍 this was very helpful when i 1st set it up x

You forgot to mention to shake the new black ink cartridge before installing them…..only the black ink cartridge should be shaken gently while inside de new package before opening …..

I don't know how much money I wasted on ink, I paid over $35 for black T252 XL size of 3 regulars last years, printed 6 set of tax return I barely have enough ink to print this year and printer notify me I'm out of ink, I remember something fishy about printer maker put a memory chip on ink so you can only print certain times no matter you print 1 word or thousand when times limited reached printer would lie to you out of ink so I google and find the resetter from Ebay seller; inkjetofficesupply, took 3 days to arrive and it works, all my inks are full tank instead of empty

The guy doing this demo has messed up his finger. Maybe he dropped a large printer on it? The real problem with the Epson printer is that the cartridge spool must travel to a certain position where the cartridges in it be unlocked and the cartridges removed and replaced. If it's not in the right sodding position, then an impossible bar of plastic prevents you from doing this. Like all inkjet printers, these companies make money by selling the replacement inkjet cartridges. Note for many of the cheaper model of printers, it's price equivalent to buy the new model, instead of replacing the cartridges! I've owned so many printers over the years, that my personal e-waste is phenominal, and more than half of it is printers (and i don't run a business or else it would be worse)! These hardware companies that make printers like Epson, Canon, Lexmark etc. should pay an e-waste tax for all the e-waste they produce, by their consumer business practise!!

Please get somebody who can speak Clearer English. He doesn't tell ho to get the cartridge holder to the replacement point. It doesn't move by itself and the other guideline for pushing the STOP button doesn't work either. You need to get somebody who doesn't stutter so much and give the directions. Thanks
