I agree with the oil scam. Fake news and that should be illegal to sell that way. They use it against the comparison charts on ownership costs and it's not a fair chart because you'll need two or three GM products in place of one Toyota or Honda like you have.
45k miles is a very low for this! Should be around double that thousand miles. That number is always laboratory numbers. Constant speed no brakes no engine load. People are d u m b so they don't know better than to believe them. Temperature as well as fuel quality. I wonder how many cheat and use ethanol free gas when in California they have up to 10% in it for regulations. Plus any CARB requirements that make the system less efficient..
