- This MRSAM version is a Surface-to-Air Missile developed jointly by DRDO and Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI), Israel for use by the Indian Army. The MRSAM Army weapon system comprises multi-function radar, mobile launcher system and other vehicles. The flight tests were carried out with the weapon system in deliverable configuration. The performance of the weapon system was validated through the flight data captured by range instruments like radars, electro-optical tracking systems and telemetry deployed by ITR, Chandipur. The flight tests were carried out in the presence of senior officials from DRDO and the Indian Army.

Nothing currently available in the market can intercept brahmos.... s500 and s550 may have the capability to intercept it but these are just speculations.
Multiple air defences are capable, Barak 8, S 400 can both stop brahmos.
I am sure THAAD is also capable enough.
Celebrating testing of an inducted missile system developed with Israeli help. Yet DRDO has been developing XRSAM/ERSAM/ anti ballistic missile system/Tejas Mk1A/Tejas Mk2/Astra MK2/ATAGS etc since eternity. Guys sometimes you need to wake up and call out why so late for so many important systems this country needs.
Because xrsam, ersam ,Astramk2, akash mk2 all have dual pulse rocket motor propulsion which was quired from Israel in transfer of technology for mrsam project . ERSAM is nothing but Barak Er which is already deployed in Israeli defence forces .

Is it really TATA launcher as in designed, developed, tested and made in house by TATA or is it a launcher made by TATA after technology transfer from foreign manufacturer.

It is now called the J-10 and is the mainstay of the Chinese Air Force. Israel has also sold China missile guidance systems,, advanced radar systems and targeting systems.
3. Israel is a diplomatic liability.
4. Military aid to Israel is illegal under the Leahy Law because of Israel's human rights violations. Any aid to Israel is illegal under the Symington amendment which prohibits aid to nations with nuclear weapons that have not signed the nuclear non-proliferation treaty and do not permit inspections of their nuclear sites
