Almost 30 years on and still as fresh as a daisy . Do not make em like this anymore . Skill and an art form in itself. Thank fuck I loved through the early to mid 90s .....brilliant .
The sound track to my teens. Gives me the goose bumps listening to this day. This was one of the seminal albums of the 90s, hands down, along with Renaissance and FACT. So glad and privileged to be a teen during those years.

Oh my....the only CD I played driving back to Chesterfield from Birmingham's after a session at Moneypennys/Godskitchen/Wobble or Sundissential! Seeing the sun rise to Rays of the Sun....hairs on back of neck! Thanks for putting this on my car doesn't have a CD player, just Bluetooth now, so it's a Godsend! Those times will never happen again so we will re-live with the music and memories! 👍😁🎶🎵

My first exposure to this type of dance. after the raves ,muddy fields and cassettes of variable quality. Mixing since 93 and in 95 i played the Sasha mix everywhere I went. . I have shown to others who never heard of this style ... Sasha was so careful with over layers on every mix. Never a straight forward in and out. Just blended the melody and dropped every track off the usual bar. Took risks and created a new soundscape...genius. and a pioneer of his time along with others....Ossia, Warren, Digweed, Cox, Oakenfold, and Tengalia us so many others sorry
Tong, Cox, Oakenfold and Sasha. 1996, at college, driving to a partyyyyy in and old Fieasta (on tape) with this going. First time I truly got into house/Dance and 22yrs later have this on the ipod why? 'Cos it's the gateway to dance music across 4 mixes. Nuff said. Turn it up!

Oh yes! Bought this when I was 15 and I'm still playing it! When I was 16 I went and got a tattoo of a barcode on my arm cos of this album cover, I pulled so many birds cos of that tattoo back then!! 😆👊🏼
One of my fav essential mixes is Sasha 2000. I still remember to this day listening to it with headphones after a night out recording it onto mini disc.

No, it's only 4 tracks for about 36 mins (fits on one side of an old 90min tape). Not sure if the BBC mucked up the recording and have asked this question several times.....it adds to the charm I think :)

Got this on tape and it always made me laugh that Sasha would mix 4 ten minute tracks while everyone else would mix between 8 and 10 in the same time.
