Wow, 5 years later I am back buying Emanuals with your link. These things are next level. Rebuild a gen 3 coyote motor, retimed a 05’ focus, bearing replacement on BMW, full suspension on a 10’ Subaru and now timing on a mk5 Jetta.
What is also valueable in dealer level info is for example the actual value of what the fuel pressure should be. It make no sense to do a fuel pressure test when you don't know what it should be. Also for engine sensors the exact voltages it outputs for what it measures. Get that information and you're king. Big middle-finger to these know-it-all "car guys".

Awesome video.. Found out about this website from another youtube video but they didn't explain how to use it. I bought a manual and just downloaded it but it wasn't interactive. Got pissed because it was hell trying for find things in over 8k pages. I saw your video and went back to the email that the company sent, found a link, clicked on it and now i have the interactive version and this thing is great. Thank you so much.
I also received a 7000 page pdf for a Subaru Forester. It ended up being ok, but it's weird because there were 3-5 choices to buy and it wasn't clear which was the one to buy. All the files were the same size, so I picked the cheapest one. I will say that it does appear to be the actual manufacturer's repair manual, but it does not have part numbers. I used the Subaru website for that. In general, it isn't the easiest thing to navigate, but I blame the manufacturer for that, not who I bought it from. 7000 pages for $21...still a pretty good deal.
It's 3OCT2021 and most of my part of the United States still does not have cable much less high speed internet. Don't assume those of us in the rural parts of the country have all the advantages of those living in the city. That said I have been watching your videos from first post and will someday get caught up and I like almost all of them. I don't like or dislike often and I never want notifications so I guess I will never win a prize. Keep up the good work, the info is great and even though I haven't watched many of your posts, I have learned several tidbits that I have made notes of!

I actually had a pretty bad experience with them recently. I drive a 2011 Audi S5 and never even changed the oil in any of my cars before this one and I've now replaced damn near every part on it myself, 50/50 between just upgrading it or the part crapping out. But I bought a manual to figure out something with my seat and what I got was a collection on about 20 short books literally on every other model but mine eventhough I specified what I needed, bc there was 2 papers inside for my car which was like a tools list and a checklist nothing of value. So within 24 hours I contacted them told them I needed a refund bc I found what I needed on another site and the reply I got back was whats your make and model vehicle?? Dude I said I'm good just need a refund and again same thing . So I sent it to him and 2 weeks later nothing. I email them again asking for my refund and the guy tells me they offered some other kind of manual for me that was based online or something, either way not what I wanted but fact was they never offered me anything..and that was about 3 months ago and I never got my money...really pissed me off the way they acted.
Get a Lexus and throw the manual out the window, you won’t need it bc the electronics wont shit itself like an Audi does. Audis drive great, when they’re on the road, I rather have the “luxury” of reliability is what I’ve learnt.

ONLY for OLD Cars. I looked up my Toyota, the most recent documentation available is for the model year 2013. That's a 9 year old car. The website being discussed here is useless for a newer car.
On your recommendation I bought a manual which came in PDF format. It has no interactive index. I can browse it by chapter in windows explorer, but then I have to open random pages that have no useful name to find the page I need. Its like ordering a book, and then being sent each chapter in a bag full of unnumbered loose pages in random order. Despite the web site advertising that PDF manuals have an interactive index in acrobat reader, their support guys are telling me my manual doesn't have one. Ive asked for a refund, they have told me they can't do refunds and are offering an exchange.

I downloaded the giude for my tahoe and it is in fact a pdf file. The email that i was sent only had a download for the manuel. There was no vm platform to download. I am very disappinted. This manuel is nothing like you described in your video. Maybe i am missing something. Please help.

I just bought the manual and I got the owner manual. Went back and buy the service repair manual and I got a similar version to Haynes manual. This is not what you are advertising. It’s not bad but it’s not what I wanted. I just a false advertisement.
@@zs9458 Hi, I did ... but unfortunally I am not very lucky with the purchase - it´s an cracked EMO (Volkswagen / Audi) Version and many chapters don´t work as supposed and some things are missing. The support is seacrhcing for a solution but I guess I won´t see any solution and my money will be lost ... but I dunno yet. You can get in touch with them before you order and check if the item you are looking for is covered or not.

Hey @samcrac I am having difficulty with the company. I downloaded a 2015 ram 1500 service manual that was advertised as covering all models. I paid and downloaded the manual only to find my 3.0L ecodiesel is not anywhere in there manual. After contacting them, they said I could not receive a refund because I downloaded it and that I could only get in store credit. This is an issue because I don't have another vehicle and most importantly, I only found out it didn't have my engine because I downloaded it

Stevo - HERE'S THE FIX: To those having the currency issue, I noticed that by choosing CANADA then using the drop-down again, it showed the USA... BUT upon clicking USD it went back to British currency. Here's what worked... Open the site in another browser. I was using Google Chrome when I noticed the issue. I wanted to save the site in my FIREFOX bookmarks so I opened the site there and WALA!... In Firefox the drop-down menu shows (and functions in) USD. ;-)

It didn't open in an intuitive table of contents. Is there a way to request the VM version? It seems that has a better layout. Also, I'm looking to work on some 2017ish Subarus and noticed they didn't have any up there (2015 the latest). Is that just a matter of time or is there a way to get the more recent manuals? If you or anyone cares to share that'd be great.

Okay so I purchased one for my S10 back in November of 2017, all i got was a copied pages of a service manual in PDF Form. It is missing a lot of information. Then on the 4th of March I got one for my S2000 and it was the same scans of pages in PDF form. It was missing some information also. I know this because I was a Honda Technician for over 10 years and I know that Honda Service manuals are made by HELMs. So yesterday again I went to the site and saw they had something that said this "2000 Chevrolet S10 Service & Repair Manual Software - Format: Instant Download" so again I paid for it and it was not software it was the same copied pages in PDF form. I contacted support about the s2000 asking for a refund and got the run around. Talking about needing my VIN number "Hi, can you give us your exact details? In particular the following: Year Engine Code, Cubic Capacity, Petrol / Diesel Transmission/Chassis VIN Number" what does any of this have to do with pages missing from the "service manuals" I have spent over 80 dollars on these manuals because they are in British pounds at 18.99 I just ordered the HELM's manuals for the S2000 for 147.90 shipped. www.helminc.com/helm/homepage.asp?Style=helm Stay Away from this emanuals place

Got a one year access when I went to "2002 Envoy", but: I paid $140.00 for printed service manuals, so the price for the electronic version would (balance out) after about ten years, and I like the idea of having a searchable data base, and then print off relevant pages as needed. Maybe I'll try for another vehicle that I don't own a service manual for.
I've written them regarding the "one year" part of things. I am trying to clarify as this seems the most questionable. I do know, if it was one year, you could always print to PDF the entire manual, but that does require extra effort and I'd rather give people a straight answer than tell them to take extra steps.
And I just noticed, between two manual offerings for 2010 Challengers, that one had an expiring license, the other did not, and the expiring license concerned the "OEM servicing procedures(?)", with "Unlimited access to Supplemental" (information). (Like what your doing, keep it up)
These e manuals look amazing. Everytime I buy a car I go onto ebay and purchase the official factory service manual for that car. I love them but they dont always show you step by step on how to do it. A lot of times they just say, "remove piece A". But they dont tell you or show you how to do it. Im excited to buy my first manaul. My only question was when you were looking at the manual for your jetta, you had 2 choices of manuals. You bought the cheaper 13.99 manual but can you explain the difference between those 2 choices? What more do you get if you would have bought the more expensive choice? Thanks.
Kenneth, basically I believe it is different sellers offering them (like a marketplace), so each seller sets their own price. I will contact them and confirm. Also some manuals will contain multiple makes/models/years, while some will contain a single make/model/year. The Jetta manual I downloaded, even though it SHOWS more models (eg. Beetle) when you try and access the manual for it, it won't work.

Lot of compliments but no reviews on purchases by all these comments. Looks fishy to me and way to many positive feed backs with no one actually sharing their experience. I have two cars, neither are listed. Tesla Model S 2015, no surprise that's not available but a Ford AU 1999 is not an obscure vehicle (not in Australia anyway). I appreciate you putting this video out and I hope it helps a lot of folks but the title is misleading when it says ANY CAR.
If you are a resident of Massachusetts the right to repair law has forced Tesla to allow access to an online service manual. Paid access is permitted for whatever small section of the manual you are interested in on a time limit basis but a full manual is not available as such. Even the location and purpose of the various fuse boxes and functions of individual fuses is not disclosed to the owner (but the service people are great and in my experience will email an attachment to you with service documentation for a specific enquiry). From what I've heard the official service documentation goes into "plug in diagnostic tool ?????????" almost immediately and that diagnostic tool is not available for purchase anyway. Oh and before anyone suggests it, no the lid of the fuse box has no more than the fuse numbers and fuse currents, it does not hint at what circuits any fuse may be protecting (all fuse boxes are buried in one or more ways so just locating them is not that easy either). A Tesla still has a steering rack, suspension, brakes, windows and locks etc just like any other car. As to the Ford I've got a couple of third party manuals, not ideal but they normally give enough information to nut out most things if you take your time.
Question -- the VW Jetta manual you bought, does it have the 2012 Jetta Sportwagen TDI in it? The problem I'm having is that the Sportwagen is *called* a Jetta in the US, but it is actually *based on* the Mk. VI Golf. So I often have trouble finding information about it -- because it's not *really* a Jetta, but it is *called* a Jetta in the U.S.
Hey LMac, my guide that I have for the Jetta does NOT show a Sportwagen Jetta option. There is a link for "all model 2012 Jettas" www.emanualonline.com/Cars/Volkswagen/Jetta/2012-VOLKSWAGEN-JETTA-All-Models-Service-and-Repair-Manual.html; however I would just write EMO first and tell them what your car is, see if they could direct you, and at the very least offer you a complete refund if it doesn't work for your car.
Hey Sam! Maybe you can help me out. I followed the link and purchased a couple manuals. unfortunately they came in zip files with pdf's inside. what makes is worse is the pdf's are all individual so they are pretty unusable for me. Am I doing something wrong?
I had the same issue, in order to do what he is talking about you have to have the VM Player. It looks like it takes a windows download which I have a MAC. IDK if I can use it. It also costs 30 bucks.

i ordered mine for my 01 tundra and my '10 mustang and got them both with no issues. id suggest contacting customer service, theyll probably send you the right one.
Did they change the format to PDF? I got PDF when I ordered the "GMC Acadia 2007-2012 Factory Workshop Service Repair Manual Download. I didn't see a WSM file option.
That's a good thing! A VM is a hassle just to view what is a pdf. (yes, I understand it's for preventing piracy, I just think that it's a tad ridiculous of a solution)
The site says PC/Mac/Smartphones etc., but the SITE says a lot of things that are suspect. I don't know if my 25gig V70 file is gonna sit well with my smartphone ;-)
well I must have done something wrong because I just got a single PDF file (that I already had since 2009) instead of the VM based access shown in this video!!!
The truth is for newer cars you do need a good service manual. And in truth if your working on your car what is 13 dollars for a proper manual. A breakfast at Dennis cost about the same.
Better go and take a look at the Better Business Bureau with a B rating and the responses from the company are less then comforting. Can't really fault Samcrac as this video is so old now. There are currently no good examples of what you will get when you download. My example would be a Ford Focus. Nothing that will show you what you will get and if your are not happy the advice from the company seems to be go and pound sand. Not good in my book.
Depends on the vehicle I'm guessing. If the manufacture used the software at the dealer that's what they have. If it's old enough they didn't it's just a scan of a manual i'm guessing.
Please do Russell, I've purchased a handful of manuals from them over the last several months and I have always gotten an email instantly with the link. There should also be a link in your account. I have used their customer service ticket system before too and always got a response. I wrote them yesterday asking for a customer service contact so I can better help you guys if need be. Hi. update on download. I contacted customer service and there reply was "We are currently experiencing an issue with our payment processor. Hence we have to approve each payment. " About 4 .hours later I got the link!!!! only to find half of a very poor photocopy of a USA only manual in pdf format, it does not list my model BMW520i. The section 6 is missing! this has the wiring diagrams which is what I need. I am now trying to get a refund. Keep up the great videos take care.
Russell Smith I'm really sorry. There is a money back guarantee so definitely get a refund. I know in some cases they offer multiple versions of the same/similar vehicles so maybe another option however I'd rather you have a quality manual you can work off of then one you are guessing at! thanks for the kind words
I found the manual for my vehicle but I notice it says "License includes 1-year access to OEM service and repair procedures". Is that all I get is one year? At this point I don't have the time to do a rebuilder so I would be more interested in just general repairs on my current vehicle, but I don't usually have more than one repair per year that I need a manual for. Would I have to repurchase the manual after a year?

Since I am an IT person, I'll better explain what's a vm. Basically it's a virtual computer using your current machines resources. One may think why such a thing going exists, well there are many advantages to having vm's for example connecting to an outside network from a vm won't affect your machines other applications and files depending on your network setup. So saying it's an operating system within an operating is technical correct but a better way to look at a vm is to say it's a computer or machine on your current computer operating like it's an application.

The refund page says they do not give refunds once you have seen (downloaded) what you are getting. In my case this is a bad deal start to finish.

What is also valueable in dealer level info is for example the actual value of what the fuel pressure should be. It make no sense to do a fuel pressure test when you don't know what it should be. Also for engine sensors the exact voltages it outputs for what it measures. Get that information and you're king. Big middle-finger to these know-it-all "car guys".

I also received a 7000 page pdf for a Subaru Forester. It ended up being ok, but it's weird because there were 3-5 choices to buy and it wasn't clear which was the one to buy. All the files were the same size, so I picked the cheapest one. I will say that it does appear to be the actual manufacturer's repair manual, but it does not have part numbers. I used the Subaru website for that. In general, it isn't the easiest thing to navigate, but I blame the manufacturer for that, not who I bought it from. 7000 pages for $21...still a pretty good deal.

I actually had a pretty bad experience with them recently. I drive a 2011 Audi S5 and never even changed the oil in any of my cars before this one and I've now replaced damn near every part on it myself, 50/50 between just upgrading it or the part crapping out. But I bought a manual to figure out something with my seat and what I got was a collection on about 20 short books literally on every other model but mine eventhough I specified what I needed, bc there was 2 papers inside for my car which was like a tools list and a checklist nothing of value. So within 24 hours I contacted them told them I needed a refund bc I found what I needed on another site and the reply I got back was whats your make and model vehicle?? Dude I said I'm good just need a refund and again same thing . So I sent it to him and 2 weeks later nothing. I email them again asking for my refund and the guy tells me they offered some other kind of manual for me that was based online or something, either way not what I wanted but fact was they never offered me anything..and that was about 3 months ago and I never got my money...really pissed me off the way they acted.

ONLY for OLD Cars. I looked up my Toyota, the most recent documentation available is for the model year 2013. That's a 9 year old car. The website being discussed here is useless for a newer car.
On your recommendation I bought a manual which came in PDF format. It has no interactive index. I can browse it by chapter in windows explorer, but then I have to open random pages that have no useful name to find the page I need. Its like ordering a book, and then being sent each chapter in a bag full of unnumbered loose pages in random order.
Despite the web site advertising that PDF manuals have an interactive index in acrobat reader, their support guys are telling me my manual doesn't have one. Ive asked for a refund, they have told me they can't do refunds and are offering an exchange.

I paid and downloaded the manual only to find my 3.0L ecodiesel is not anywhere in there manual. After contacting them, they said I could not receive a refund because I downloaded it and that I could only get in store credit. This is an issue because I don't have another vehicle and most importantly, I only found out it didn't have my engine because I downloaded it

Open the site in another browser. I was using Google Chrome when I noticed the issue. I wanted to save the site in my FIREFOX bookmarks so I opened the site there and WALA!... In Firefox the drop-down menu shows (and functions in) USD. ;-)

It didn't open in an intuitive table of contents. Is there a way to request the VM version? It seems that has a better layout. Okay so I purchased one for my S10 back in November of 2017, all i got was a copied pages of a service manual in PDF Form. It is missing a lot of information. Then on the 4th of March I got one for my S2000 and it was the same scans of pages in PDF form. It was missing some information also. I know this because I was a Honda Technician for over 10 years and I know that Honda Service manuals are made by HELMs. So yesterday again I went to the site and saw they had something that said this "2000 Chevrolet S10 Service & Repair Manual Software - Format: Instant Download" so again I paid for it and it was not software it was the same copied pages in PDF form. I contacted support about the s2000 asking for a refund and got the run around. Talking about needing my VIN number

Got a one year access when I went to "2002 Envoy", but: I paid $140.00 for printed service manuals, so the price for the electronic version would (balance out) after about ten years, and I like the idea of having a searchable data base, and then print off relevant pages as needed. Maybe I'll try for another vehicle that I don't own a service manual for.
I've written them regarding the "one year" part of things. I am trying to clarify as this seems the most questionable. I do know, if it was one year, you could always print to PDF the entire manual, but that does require extra effort and I'd rather give people a straight answer than tell them to take extra steps.
And I just noticed, between two manual offerings for 2010 Challengers, that one had an expiring license, the other did not, and the expiring license concerned the "OEM servicing procedures(?)", with "Unlimited access to Supplemental" (information). (Like what your doing, keep it up)

These e manuals look amazing. Everytime I buy a car I go onto ebay and purchase the official factory service manual for that car. I love them but they dont always show you step by step on how to do it. A lot of times they just say, "remove piece A". But they dont tell you or show you how to do it. Im excited to buy my first manaul. My only question was when you were looking at the manual for your jetta, you had 2 choices of manuals. You bought the cheaper 13.99 manual but can you explain the difference between those 2 choices? What more do you get if you would have bought the more expensive choice? Thanks.
Kenneth, basically I believe it is different sellers offering them (like a marketplace), so each seller sets their own price. I will contact them and confirm. Also some manuals will contain multiple makes/models/years, while some will contain a single make/model/year. The Jetta manual I downloaded, even though it SHOWS more models (eg. Beetle) when you try and access the manual for it, it won't work.

I have two cars, neither are listed. Tesla Model S 2015, no surprise that's not available but a Ford AU 1999 is not an obscure vehicle (not in Australia anyway). I appreciate you putting this video out and I hope it helps a lot of folks but the title is misleading when it says ANY CAR.

If you are a resident of Massachusetts the right to repair law has forced Tesla to allow access to an online service manual. Paid access is permitted for whatever small section of the manual you are interested in on a time limit basis but a full manual is not available as such. Even the location and purpose of the various fuse boxes and functions of individual fuses is not disclosed to the owner (but the service people are great and in my experience will email an attachment to you with service documentation for a specific enquiry).
From what I've heard the official service documentation goes into "plug in diagnostic tool ?????????" almost immediately and that diagnostic tool is not available for purchase anyway. Oh and before anyone suggests it, no the lid of the fuse box has no more than the fuse numbers and fuse currents, it does not hint at what circuits any fuse may be protecting (all fuse boxes are buried in one or more ways so just locating them is not that easy either). A Tesla still has a steering rack, suspension, brakes, windows and locks etc just like any other car.
As to the Ford I've got a couple of third party manuals, not ideal but they normally give enough information to nut out most things if you take your time.

Question -- the VW Jetta manual you bought, does it have the 2012 Jetta Sportwagen TDI in it? The problem I'm having is that the Sportwagen is *called* a Jetta in the US, but it is actually *based on* the Mk. VI Golf. So I often have trouble finding information about it -- because it's not *really* a Jetta, but it is *called* a Jetta in the U.S.

Hey LMac, my guide that I have for the Jetta does NOT show a Sportwagen Jetta option. There is a link for "all model 2012 Jettas" www.emanualonline.com/Cars/Volkswagen/Jetta/2012-VOLKSWAGEN-JETTA-All-Models-Service-and-Repair-Manual.html; however I would just write EMO first and tell them what your car is, see if they could direct you, and at the very least offer you a complete refund if it doesn't work for your car.

I had the same issue, in order to do what he is talking about you have to have the VM Player. It looks like it takes a windows download which I have a MAC. IDK if I can use it. It also costs 30 bucks.

Did they change the format to PDF? I got PDF when I ordered the "GMC Acadia 2007-2012 Factory Workshop Service Repair Manual Download. I didn't see a WSM file option.

Better go and take a look at the Better Business Bureau with a B rating and the responses from the company are less then comforting. Can't really fault Samcrac as this video is so old now. There are currently no good examples of what you will get when you download. My example would be a Ford Focus. Nothing that will show you what you will get and if your are not happy the advice from the company seems to be go and pound sand. Not good in my book.

Depends on the vehicle I'm guessing. If the manufacture used the software at the dealer that's what they have. If it's old enough they didn't it's just a scan of a manual i'm guessing.

Hi. update on download. I contacted customer service and there reply was "We are currently experiencing an issue with our payment processor. Hence we have to approve each payment. " About 4 .hours later I got the link!!!! only to find half of a very poor photocopy of a USA only manual in pdf format, it does not list my model BMW520i. The section 6 is missing! this has the wiring diagrams which is what I need. I am now trying to get a refund. Keep up the great videos take care.

At this point I don't have the time to do a rebuilder so I would be more interested in just general repairs on my current vehicle, but I don't usually have more than one repair per year that I need a manual for. Would I have to repurchase the manual after a year?

Kansas they said to ignore the 1 year part everything should be lifetime.
Got a poor set of manuals, and not for the exact year I need, even though I the download was titled for that specific year. Asked for a refund. I will update if I get the refund.

Since I am an IT person, I'll better explain what's a vm.
Basically it's a virtual computer using your current machines resources. One may think why such a thing going exists, well there are many advantages to having vm's for example connecting to an outside network from a vm won't affect your machines other applications and files depending on your network setup.
So saying it's an operating system within an operating is technical correct but a better way to look at a vm is to say it's a computer or machine on your current computer operating like it's an application.
So, you are saying it is a virtual... machine? :)
samcrac I click in the link and i bought for my 2007 Chevy Tahoe but I just get a photocopies in PDF format, I'm trying to use the vmware program when I click it in the folder is nothing in . can you help me out please
+Alex Ortiz hey Alex, I'm sorry for this trouble. I updated the description with FAQs. It turns out some guides are not in virtual machine and just in PDF format. If you are not happy with it you can contact EMO and see if they offer a VM version or get a refund
