I totally agree Libby has always been a great mum even to RB today that’s why you can clearly see RB still comes around Libby she knows who raised her and provided food for and disciplined her in the wild and RB can defend herself against other younger male monkeys cus of the learning she received from Libby who she loves ❤but Leo doesn’t want to learn he wants things his way already the young male monkeys are trying to F-him in the butt and Leo can’t even run from them cus he rather them feel sorry for him instead even RB is sick of this!!
He does that in many other videos , too. There was this one video where Leo & another monkey were hanging out together on the rocks. She was a little bit bigger than him. The VO's we're giving her the sign to try & rough Leo up!!! She would jump from one rock 🪨 & then back onto the rock where Leo was laying down. She began to wrestle with him. Bite him. She tried to pick him up & slam him back on the ground. She'd jump back onto the front 🪨, then, back onto the rock that Leo was laying on. Leo just stayed there. Laying on his stomach that entire time, except, when the female monkey was picking him up & trying to rough him up. She got in some good bites, but, Leo is so fat she couldn't pick him up much!!! Then, Leo would flop back on his stomach and lay there until she jumped back onto his rock 🪨 again! Many times he had opportunity to run away, but, he stayed there!!!

I don't understand why but when these babies cry and cry, some adult monkeys will attack the babies and the moms. That could be one reason Libby won't allow Leo to lay there and cry.
How can so many (not all!) humans here “judge” Leo ? Thats a very young monkey! Especially since it can't be ruled out, that he suffered serious inner head injuries from all the blows and bites, from whomever, and that mental impairment could be quite possible... It breaks my heart to see him with all his deep wounds and I feel very sorry for him!
I don't feel sorry for Leo. All he wants to do drink milk and sleep. Libby probably beats him because he drinking milk from others. Leo smart he knows what he is doing. We have to remember these are wild animals.

If you watch the Leo videos you can hear them saying beat and Libby starts to assault Leo. She probably does it so they don't hurt her. But this wasn't enough for them as in later videos they nearly blinded him with tiger balm by rubbing it into his eyes. He had to be taken to the vets as he almost lost his eyesight. Leo has barely ever been allowed to play or be happy; he's constantly abused ~ it's relentless and totally unfair and Libby is never left alone neither

In this video you're able to see where Libby's "discipline" has pulled all the hair away from the back of Leo's neck and from behind his ears. Also note the odd way he sits, with both arms held outward and hands down; it's reminiscent of what you'd see with primates that have floating limb syndrome. This can be yet another sign of emotional distress. If he is indeed "defiant" he doesn't seem to be learning anything from the beatings other than how to be miserable.
I always thought there was something wrong with leo. Even as a young baby, you can see his motor function is weak. His balance is horrible and he doesn't properly walk. The floating hands is something I've just recently noticed.
Around 4:30 when he's stand then circling, I think he's dazed and out of it. He's visibly shaking (hands show it,) and he has little idea what to do. I get that these demanding babies need discipline and made to follow the rules. It seems to me that Libby is a quick change artist with her treatment of Leo, and the little guy does to now what to think. Can monkeys get PTSD?

Leo is needy and unable to sit alone and has to be touching Libby for comfort….Libby is making him sit alone and she sits near him….she is going to continue to make him uncomfortable sitting in her lap until he has more comfort out of her lap than near her….she will continue to train him to stand on his own until he learns….
And then after the beatings she waits about 3 minutes, walks over pulls him into her (usually on her lap) and begins grooming the filth off him that she just ground him into. He also gets beatings when he doesn’t grab onto her and come with her when she’s given no indication THAT is what she wants him to do in that moment. I’m an educated human who has learned a lot about their behavior and I’m scratching my head. Can’t imagine how confusing that is for a less than 6 month old monkey. If I were literally places into his body with the state of educated, adult, human mind I am in today… I would not know how to act around Libby to prevent myself a beating from her.
He’s a 4 month old baby wild monkey he’s not human some people get that confused. I think I read somewhere where he was removed from mom because the abuse had gotten extremely bad. He might have been gone and then was returned. I'll see if I can find the information. But, yes, I believe he's doing ok now.

I don't understand why but when these babies cry and cry, some adult monkeys will attack the babies and the moms. That could be one reason Libby won't allow Leo to lay there and cry.

If you watch the Leo videos you can hear them saying beat and Libby starts to assault Leo. She probably does it so they don't hurt her. But this wasn't enough for them as in later videos they nearly blinded him with tiger balm by rubbing it into his eyes. He had to be taken to the vets as he almost lost his eyesight. Leo has barely ever been allowed to play or be happy; he's constantly abused ~ it's relentless and totally unfair and Libby is never left alone neither

I always thought there was something wrong with leo. Even as a young baby, you can see his motor function is weak. His balance is horrible and he doesn't properly walk. The floating hands is something I've just recently noticed.
It looks like both his forearms are swollen.
Around 4:30 when he's stand then circling, I think he's dazed and out of it. He's visibly shaking (hands show it,) and he has little idea what to do. I get that these demanding babies need discipline and made to follow the rules. And then after the beatings she waits about 3 minutes, walks over pulls him into her (usually on her lap) and begins grooming the filth off him that she just ground him into. He also gets beatings when he doesn’t grab onto her and come with her when she’s given no indication THAT is what she wants him to do in that moment. I’m an educated human who has learned a lot about their behavior and I’m scratching my head. Can’t imagine how confusing that is for a less than 6 month old monkey. If I were literally places into his body with the state of educated, adult, human mind I am in today… I would not know how to act around Libby to prevent myself a beating from her.

I'm just not a Leo fan like many other people.
There are times when I find him adorable and cute. But, he always returns to his entitlement ways. Tantrum City! Screeching & demanding Libby pick him up & carry him. Or, demanding Libby feed him 24/7!
He's had a mouthful of teeth since he was little. He is just lazy & expects everyone to coddle him & he's a brat! IMO.
I'm not the smartest. I'm still learning about these monkeys & their way of life. There's a lot that I don't know.
But, I enjoy watching these videos!!! Some of them are fun & funny!!! Some of them are really sad. Some, are extremely entertaining! Especially, watching Baby Lori & Baby Daniela! They're both ...... so entertaining to watch!!! LoL!!!

I forgot that Mom's name & all her teenage kids who nurse on her at their convenience. Now, that Monkey Mom needs to be removed from her kids & placed in a cage all by herself. Or, placed in a completely different park & environment away from her children.

I think I read somewhere where he was removed from mom because the abuse had gotten extremely bad. He might have been gone and then was returned. I'll see if I can find the information. But, yes, I believe he's doing ok now.
