I feel like the writers want me to root for Nagisa by showing how much of an arrogant Ayano is becoming, but my heart is telling to root for Ayano instead
ayano loses nagisa wins but ayano gets scouted by the french? i think its frech guy. but the anime is so rushed the story is not making sense as example at this point in the manga all the girls know whats happening with her mother and ayano doesnt behave like this after that only on games she goes into her yandere mode.
This was another great episode setting things up for a climax next week. I loved how we were lead to expect to see Ayano cry, but then she again shows us that originality that makes her such an amazing character by revealing she was just randomly spilling water on her plushie while she was pondering her current existential crisis. I really can't gush enough about how innovative a fictional character Ayano is. Her characterization alone makes Hanebado worth watching. One thing that bothers me about as much as her mother abandoning her is her friends just basically letting her behave this way without properly asking her why she's being such a bully and what's going on. Finally, Elena is realizing something is really wrong and she has to help her friend. I suddenly realized myself that Kaoruko is going to make a great sports journalist one day lol And I love the way Nagasaki is being portrayed. You can really see into her mind. She has made such progress and has been working towards this moment, in order to rise above herself and show herself that the doubts she got when she first played Ayano were unfounded. I can hardly wait for the next episode.
yeah, i literally had to take a walk after i hear her excuse. *yOu WeRe DePenDiNg oN mE tOo MuCh* *OF COURSE SHE'S DEPENDING ON YOU, JACKASS! YOU'RE HER MOM!*
Well the difference between Ayano's mom and goku is that taking into goku's character he didn't force Gohan into fighting the situation forced Gohan into fighting. The only thing Goku knows literally is fighting and the only way that goku could really connect with Gohan is through fighting.Plus Goku never gave up or abandoned Gohan just because he was weaker then him...no what he did was he improved and trained with his son.....
@@nobodieparticular5849 true but they did train to fight cell gohan came along with his own decission knowing this. In fact gohan was unaware about how powerful he himself was if goku couldn't beat cell nobody would beat cell. Yes gohan's resolve of wanting to help his dad and getting beaten and broken by it is sad for gohan for sure, but unlike with ayano and her mom the world was on the line. Yes goku created the cell mess by not killing dr early and getting rid of 17 and 18 but already too late. the fate of the earth and millions outweigh gohan's not fighting at that point it was either fight or let millions die basically an ultimatim with only one possible maybe good outcome. Ayano and stuff is just badminton. So with goku it'a kinda like the result justifies the means. It was either goku puts his fate in the only one who is stronger then him or he fights himself and dies because that result was highly stated as the end of the goku vs cell fight.
Ayano’s mother makes me more angry! She thought by abandoning her it would make Ayano be independent but instead created Ayano’s personality to be cold, harsh, and ruthless with no empathy to others. Uchicka was wrong to leave Ayano, has no shame for not telling that she was fine, didn’t have the guts on telling her that she is training her own new prodigy and so called new daughter, and just care back home and expected to see things back to normal! I do not accept this woman to be a mother, but only see her as a woman of poisonous pride, creating consequence that she blindly ignore to see the full conception what Ayano had been going through, and never had the intention on fully creating a real family because she viewed Ayano as a disposable tool of not being worthy to become her prodigy! Ayano’s Mom has no sense on what Ayano had become, too selfish what she never realize her mistake was her consequential damage, and her path of glory and pride are nothing but tools of the evil sin that guided her of abandoning Ayano and taking Connie in as her “new prodigy and new daughter” as her tool in her conquest of winning. Elena finally realize her mistake on forcing Ayano to bring back the joy on playing Badminton. Not knowing Ayano’s, Elena felt more guilty every time she sees Ayano’s play style. She’s frighten and worried that she may changed Ayano too much and put pressure without the harm she is inflicting instead doing a good deed. Elena’s realization showed her the ugly truth what she had created and set in motion. The coach has no right to privately teach Nagisa alone. He is too focus and caught up on the path for glory to bring Nagisa to the pro leagues. His role is to support, care, teach, and put everyone before him instead of putting just one person. Being a coach is to help students become better athletes, understanding each player’s feelings, and know them better. He is not making a good balance for just aiding Nagisa. The coach should also help Ayano to be a better player instead of becoming a player with an unstable mental health. His priority is to help each of the members in the badminton club with fair amount of time, if he is just focusing on just one person, how can he call himself a coach if he is not willing to give extra time to help and save Ayano.
Al T this. I hate the coach so much. He’s too caught up in the thing about hardwork beating talent that he doesnt realize those with talent also works hard, if not harder than others, because people expect them to be good.
@@TunesByAI2024 yeah the coach doesn't deserve to be a coach. He only focus on nagisa's wellfare. He says nagisa works very hard and dismiss ayano calling her talented and not looking at her her work. He is shit.
Talented person with hardwork Vs ordinary girl with hardwork. There's the answer. For example has anyone won ballon d'or another than Messi or ronaldo for past 10 years. No. It's not like other players don't work hard. It's just life. Talent + hardwork wins 90% times
I don't think Ayano doesn't have a motivation in her contemptuous behavior (Though there is no argument that she is lashing out like a child). In the last episode she was quite clear. Her intent is to cause as much pain and suffering to her mother as she possibly can by rejecting her should Ayano win the match. That's what makes Ayano behavior truly malevolent...She's actively participating in the meticulous crafting of suffering for the sake of acting out her own bitterness and pain.
Agree with you what bothers me i didnt watch the show i watch tree episodes and i found it too umberable, i watch reviews and news is that, there is no opposition she is acting like a prick and nobody has stop her or present he oposite, and her mom is acting like a psicko and no one is even saying something, i think the series has take to many liberties and that is what makeme stop watching
I don't know where people keep getting the idea that Elena had good intentions in pressuring Ayano onto the team. This is Elena's justification in her own words from Episode 2: "But you still need to play badminton."-Elena "Why?"-Ayano "Because you're talented."-Elena. "No I'm not...I don't even want to do it."-Ayano.
Subvisual Haze its mainly because she has talent but there was a time when Ayano took great pleasure from playing. If you had a friend who had amazing talent for something and used to love it it doesn’t hurt to get them to do it especially since Ayano was anti-social before she joined the team. She had only one friend Elena and Elena can’t always hang out with her since she has other friends too. Another positive to making her join is the large number of friends Ayano could have beside Elena. Ultimately unless Elena was aware of the abandonment there’s no way she could have known. Only hindsight makes her decision bad. Inversely how does pressuring someone to do what they are good at not good intentioned?? In the end she is making her do something that theoretically will be good for Ayano, she has nothing to gain except a happier friend.
Glenn Vatista It's not that she has the talent for it. You can have talent for something and still not want to do it. It's more that she knows Ayano still finds some enjoyment playing it. Although this is something that I personally disagree with. There honestly isn't any real indication that Ayano wouldn't be happy not playing badminton. All she really needed was friends and support to get over her abandonment issues which is something she can find outside of sports. The only real important badminton had to Ayano, in my opinion, is that it made her feel closer to her mom. Since her mom left I never saw a reason for her to keep playing it since she clearly wasn't enjoying herself which is why she quit.
No one, and I mean absolutely no other character in this show, worked harder than Ayano at badminton. If Aragaki somehow wins this match on the basis of effort overcoming talent than this anime just unmistakably reduced itself to a shit show, enslaved by the need to forcibly adhere to the standard tropes of sports anime.
Jason Gu Talent alone is never enough. Look at Akashi from Kuroko no Basket. Even though we found out later he did work hard regardless of his skill. He still needed to lose. And Nagisa is talented and a hard worker. As the flash back with the last girl she faced showed that Nagisa was always praised and even has a scholarship. Until it was taken from her.
I just want ayano to lose. Since her attitude is not very sport like. Trust me as a person that was in sports a person like ayano needs the L to become more humble
@@resolvedfate1295 NOPE talent + hardwork (which ayanon has) will beat the shit out of Nagasaki's hardwork. And of we're talking talent here Nagasaki wouldn't be the first character on my mind when it comes to Hanebado, I bet she can't even match up with Ayanon's child hood rival (forgot her name).
@@julz19 Well it is true that Ayano is talented and physically strong, however I think she is slipping. She is too serious and a bit unbalanced now. Playing Batminton is also nerv game. If you lose to your emotions, you have party lost the game. However there is something wrong with Nagisa's body. Like her muscles are at their limit or something. So Ayano seems to have more stamina. The question is which one will fall first. Nagisa's body or Ayano's mind.
I want ayano become more savege. For example, stop badminton in her school team and take another school. Run house. Make another friends. I hope. Who agree?
Man, i like how human your comments are. There are only a few people in the platform that make this content. Love the video. Youve gain a subscriber :)
Naw, just call his Scum Squad to do the dirty work. They got everything: Bambo Sword, Bricks (Yes, even BRICKS), Taser, Nail Bat and most important of all SHOVEL for her funeral.
Although I personally would prefer to see Ayano win after a very tough match, I rather believe that she loses it. The ultimate revenge on the mother and on the biased coach, it would be if Ayano despite the adversity finds her true self during the match. And if she loses, the coach sees that he has failed her completely by giving Nagisa an unfair advantage. And as for the conversation between the teacher and the coach, if you really tell a TEAM coach who preferred the one finalist while completely ignoring her opponent, leaving her alone, and simply discounting her hard work as a given talent, he really does is a good coach? Why did not she alerted him earlier or intervened by herself? Even a blind man would have seen Ayano completely isolated from the team. Instead, he gets a soul massage. Both have failed miserably in my eyes. The other team members can be credited with having at least tried to support Ayano in their own way. But they could have pointed the teacher or the coach on Ayanos behavior and demand consequences or at least can ask for advice. Apart from Elena, no one has criticized Ayano for her behavior. Especially from the Senpais, especially Riko, I expected more. Instead, everyone has made a good face to the bad game. At the end, a quote from Isaac Carke from Dead Space 3: "Good people mean well, they just do not always do well." Interpretation is up to you.
This kinda pisses me off when people talk how talented Ayano is, but in fact it is all hard work, when Ayano participated at that competition in middle school, at last in the manga, she was than the best junior player in Japan at that time, you can't become the best with just talent, Ayano knows what she is dooing. And it may seem that in the next episode Ayano will lose to Aragaki, but in fact I belive it will turn exact oposide, you can't just lose because you are a bad person, in fact she will probably realise at some point of the match that she plays badminton because she likes it and not because of revenge and than she will turn the tables and beat Aragaki.
And Ayano sesed that her new friends are all fake, they never accepted her deep down and they probably rooting for Aragaki, the only friend that Ayano had was Elena, the rest are just jelous at her talent and they keep crying how pathetic they are at badminton.
If she beats aragaki because she learns the value of the sports and that she truly loves it then I will be happy with it. But if not ayano needs the L to make herself humble
Nagisa worked harder than Ayano? Is this a joke? It's true that Ayano didn't do a lot for the past months in the anime, but before that, she was training like hell and even more when her mother abandoned her because she thought she would come back if she was stronger. She passed all of her life training, on the other side Aragaki just started to work REALLY hard after her loss against Ayano in the tournament...
The problem is that everybody knows it, but they wantto use good intentions to justifie the bad. Personaly i stop watching te anime, becase well all what i sad upthere and to be hoenst i am not watching a lot of anime lately, but come on, why her parents Hanebados grandpharents didnt say a thing, i presonaly found that it breaks the inmersion and suspension of disbilif
Elena: i did not have bad intentions audience: history told many times that most of the bad outcome come from good intentions though... Meanwhile ayano beat connie to dust an episode ago so if aragaki beats ayano does that mean aragaki is better than connie???(WHO IS A GODDAMN WORLD CLASS)
Marvin No, both mother and daughter need family counselling immediately! Ayano is a heartless jerk while her mom is the root of her baby girl's problem!
Nagisa does seem the best candidate to connect with Ayano. Nagisa understands the hypercompetitive state Ayano is in because she herself was there in the first couple episodes. She's also familiar with the unfair expectations others will put on you if they perceive you as being naturally talented. I kind of hope this happens as it would be a nice moment of the mature team captain mentoring the new kid.
stampoulis rafail I agree with you that she has the right but that doesn't mean it is the right choice for her. Look at how the mum acts, as if those years that she left Ayano without a reason are normal. That's why I don't want her to be forgiven. She doesn't deserve anything at all, especially anything from Ayano.
I really really hate the coach. He doesnt deserve to be called that. He favor Nagisa so much because he’s caught up in his belief than hardwork can overcome talent. He even mentioned that when ayano was playing against kaoruko. But people forget that those that they call talented work just as hard, if not harder than other, simply because people around them expect them to be good.
I do think ayano needs to lose the match to get a wake up call, altough ill rate this show good or bad based on her answer towards the person who started all this shit, which is the mother. if she gets a pardon then this was all for nothing, it will be just history repeating itself and ill just see ayano becoming her mother in the future, if she doesnt get a pardon then i can maybe see ayanao maturing and developing in a good way plus the mother will get the 9 years late wake up call she needed.
I think you might be letting Elena off a little easy. Ayano clearly had issues when it came to the sport and did not want to play. Elena wanted to "help" without fully understanding the underlying circumstances. I agree next episode will probably make or break it depending on how they handle Ayano's mom. Not to defend her, but there are definitely misunderstandings in play. Not saying it's better or worse, just not what it seems.
I agree my dude. Elena's not off the hook. There is a distinction to be made between brashly acted out ideas motivated by good intentions & ideas motivated by good intentions carried out with thoughtful consideration/contemplation. One of them can lead to severely worse outcomes than you could ever envision (which makes your good intentions all the more painful) & the other actually helps to better bring the potential future your good intentions are trying to create into existence. And that's not a trivial thing....
@@rhyanjill Interesting point. Does the manga share the name of the anime? You re not the first person who I've seen point out the liberties taken by, and subsequently the inadequacy of, the anime.
Great video, Chibi! Not sure I agree with your stance on Goku's parenting comparison, though. IMO, he never forced Gohan to fight. He encouraged him definitely, and taught him a lot about fighting, but it was always the villains that forced Gohan to either fight or die; Goku can't really be blamed! I'll run through the basics: Raditz kidnapped Gohan and nearly killed Goku: Both Goku nor Gohan can be blamed for Raditz appearance; when Raditz was about to kill Goku, Gohan burst out of the Saiyan Pod and saved his dad! Goku died fighting for his son until his last breath. Goku really couldn't control Piccolo kidnapping Gohan and training him; he was dead. Then, Goku learned all these techniques from King Kai, and rushed back to save his friends and family from evil saiyans that were threatening them! Goku was doing this purely to save them, otherwise he could've stayed in Other World with King Kai! Saved Gohan from Nappa, and actively suggested Gohan and Krillin stay at Roshi's place during the fight with Vegeta, and not to get in their way. It was Gohan's own decision to come back and save Goku after his bones were being crushed by Great Ape Vegeta. For Namek, Gohan wanted to go to the planet through no say of Goku (He was too busy recovering in the hospital) because Gohan wanted to resurrect Piccolo! He even told Chi Chi he wanted to go. Then, when they're getting their asses handed to by the Ginyu Force, and Gohan nearly dies to Recoome, Goku saves his son yet again! Goku had no idea the Ginyu Force would show up, so he couldn't predict that. Everyone thought it'd be an easy journey to collect the Namekian Dragon Balls, so Goku never really enforced his ideals on Gohan to fight, as if Gohan didn't fight, he would die to these villains. Goku saved Gohan by turning Super Saiyan against Freeza, etc. For the androids, it wasn't Goku's or Gohan's fault. It was thanks to Dr. Gero exacting revenge from when Kid Goku destroyed the Red Ribbon Army base a long time ago because they were a corrupt militia, so neither of the Z Fighters could really predict that. Goku didn't shove his fighting ideals on Gohan; Gohan had to fight the androids that were killing everyone they saw and looking to kill Goku, or Gohan and everyone else (like they did in the Trunks Future) would die! We get to Cell, which is where most people put the blame on Goku's bad parenting. Goku, as a kid, had to fight Demon King Piccolo. Alone. He was around 11. Gohan was 12 when Fighting Cell. Goku didn't even have Kaioken at the time, yet Gohan had both Super Saiyan, and a parental figure to constantly help guide him. Gotta say, I sympathize with Goku more, as he had thought all his friends were dead and couldn't be brought back, and this was as a Kid! Goku knew that his son was stronger than Krillin, Tien, Yamcha, Piccolo, Vegeta, and Trunks, so he was confident that Gohan would win against Cell, regardless of age. (Goku was able to defeat Demon King Piccolo younger, so it was relatively the same for Gohan: this small powerful kid up against Big Bad Green... Goku's not a rocket scientist, but he can compare his previous battles.) "Goku gave Cell a Senzu Bean". It's called a Fair fight. I think it's pretty safe to say Goku knows his way around fights, he didn't get where he was today by not knowing how to fight. And when Goku kept telling Gohan to kill off Cell as a Super Saiyan 2, Gohan didn't listen. He wanted to "Make Cell Suffer". When this backfired and Cell was going to blow up Earth, Goku took the fall for Gohan's irresponsibility and sacrificed himself to save his son and friends. He didn't come back to Earth because he knew that, like Raditz, Nappa & Vegeta, the Androids and Cell, that the Earth was in danger with him around. It was literally Goku that kept bringing these villains, but not like Goku wanted it. They just wanted to fight Goku. So he had no choice this time but to stay in Other World, for his Family & Friends sake. He even told Gohan before he finally went to Other World to listen to Chi Chi, protect her, and become a Scholar. Gohan did just that! (Goku also told Gohan to train, but Gohan didn't do that part so well.) From the points I've presented, I fail to see where Goku forced his fighting ideals upon Gohan. Fighting's all Goku knows, so it's the only way he can connect with his son (for Pete's sake, he literally got married to Chi Chi by fighting) and all of the times Gohan was forced to fight, was because villains presented him with a "Fight or Die"; something Goku couldn't control. What's there to study if there's no Earth because Vegeta blew it up? Gohan knew this, so he had to fight to protect the planet, much like his father. If you've made it this far down, Jesus Christ. (Or should I say Kami) Thanks for hearing me out, and I'd love to hear your opinion on what I've said! I would go into the Majin Saga, but by then, Gohan's old enough, and it's pretty clear that Goku didn't force his ideals on Gohan. And by Super, Goku literally doesn't bother Gohan because he knows Gohan's busy with his own life. He hangs out with Chi Chi and Goten when he's not fighting evil gods. Gohan volunteered to learn to fight again for the Tournament of Power. Yeesh, I talk too much. But hey, at least it's fun!
I think this might be the first episode that isn't entirely anime original recently. Although I ain't 100% sure, wait I forgot the entire interaction with Ayano and he mother is. Cause by this point they haven't met in the manga when Ayano faces of against Nagasaki or whatever her name is. I will say the convo between Ayano and short hair is part of the manga so at least it looks like the match will be faithful adaptation. Same with the coach that part was in the manga.
don't even compare it to the manga..they just wanted 12 episodes of bouncing b**bs, they have to conclude it somehow and they will...what a dissapointment
Psychologically wise... no. Socialwise. Yes. She's trying to cope with her mother and broken mind by being cruel. By acting like she doesn't care. I can't fault her.
People calling the most posible outcome a cliche just because is predictable... those are not the same concepts! Cliche is predictable but not every predictable thing is cliche
I’m not holding my breath though. I’ve seen this character type in anime before. Ayano’s mom will be given some kind of sob story that she was forced to leave Ayano cause of reasons, everyone will feel sorry for her and Ayano will forgive her. Calling it now
I agree with most things you said (including coach preferable treatment being bad thing), but I wouldn't say Ayano, the girl who ditched badminton for years, yet instantly winning once she returns really qualify as hardworker character.
Well the firelord was going to kill his son if his mom did not interfere on that one I think he's up for worst parent and also treated him like he was the B son of a scoundrel even though he was his biological son
i think ayano is the way she is from the environment she's in and obviously her mother's traits have fallen on her like mother like daughter shes gonna be a little unhinged , but also no one helped her when kaoruko gave her cold....which is crazy what she did and no one one helped her with connie the way i think they could of basically she is the way she is from the way these events lead up to each to where we are now. i also wonder what's going on with the grandparents not just in this anime but others too they never actually try to help they just sit there and let things smolder over like they'll work it out themselves which i'm not sure will happen smh
thanks to the good animation it made me stay tuned but story wise I'll just read the manga at least there I get to see how the characters really act amongst each other...
Tbh i really think they are making it sound like Ayano's gonna lose but really she's gonna win i think Nagisa gonna win to but not how we expect her to win to me it seems like she's gonna win over her past self not the match and Ayano's gonna win the match itself and after she confronts her mother everything will unfold there, just a theory i think it's gonna play out like
In the Manga it was revealed that the reason why Ayano's mother left was because, Ayano's mother felt like she couldn't give Ayano what she wanted or needed so she left because she believed she was a bad mother but still kept in contact with Ayano secretly, basically I like I how the manga is doing things more then the anime as yes she left in both but in one she left because she wanted Ayano to have a better life while the anime version Ayano's mom wants Ayano to be a rival to her or surpass her so in the end I prefer the manga protrayal of Ayano's mom over Anime version of ayano's mom
Can we just acknowledge that if Elena never got Ayano back into badminton then the entire point of Ayano’s mothers plan would have failed horribly. And let’s also notice that Ayano’s mother didn’t even remember Elena initially until after she mentioned she was her childhood friend even after saying her own name.
The grandparents might not be saying anything because they are her in-laws and not Ayano's mom real parents. Remember one episode where grandma said they are lucky to have Ayano's mom marry into the family/
The grand parents were made to be fill in characters to enable the messed up plot of Ayano’s mother to somehow be allowed to even be in the same house as Ayano. If a grandparent saw what she did, my god would they not let her near her, or at least yell their head off at them.
ʜ̶ᴇ̶ᴀ̶ᴛ̶ᴢ̶ Ϟ神 I think Chibi really wanted to give her chances to explain herself and fix the situation with Ayano. But no, as the series progresses.. it's just become clearer and clearer that she's a total piece of shit after all XD
On the first Chibi's video, her mother hasn't come home yet. All the terrible assessment are based on flashbacks and Connie's story. But now, we see her mother came home. She just acted nonchallantly, happy go lucky, she didn't confront and properly talk with Ayano, while it's pretty obvious that her child is giving her cold shoulder. And the next thing she mentioned was "I come home because now you can play badminton without me" without a single remorse or at least say sorry about it.. WTF??
not really, chibi aspires to discuss good plot, that anime had little plot, much ecchi. the series is way too cliched it hurts, every new character is a potential additional harem.
I don´t think the grandparents don´t care about Ayano. I think they feel powerless about the situation and think they can´t do anything. Also, the whole series has been great, even if the last episode is bad, I don´t think it would break the whole anime. The coach is a bad coach, that´s so true! He might be a good player but fails as a coach. Overall, most characters have a lot of flaws in this anime. I didn´t notice that before.
with the fact uchika loved THE other child...not her own child and suddenly ayano had a step sister, no explain... i pretty much thinking "i don't needed by my mother anymore, i'm an outcast" goku on the other hand had communication with his child and giving tips and whatsoever so that his child doesn't make any mistake as he did, to make a better and efficient fighter, and most importantly, he closed to his child everyday... in my opinion, Connie ARE the one switched Ayano madness into the next level
ive never heard of this anime. so is is wrong i've sat here for 5 minutes thinking he was talking about a gang or group called "bad mitten"? i feel so dumb! >_< no hate man. love your reviews!
I think I might the only one who wants Ayano to crush Nagisa while I don't approve of Ayano's behavior towards the rest of the team I can help but side with her and her mom can go and die for all I care I really hope that Ayano wins and forgives her mom but we all know how this is goign to turn out *sigh*
Yh ... But Ayano did tell Elena she DIDNT want to play volleyball ... She should have tried to understand Ayano's point of view instead of forcing her into the entering the club ...
never say you hate your mom just lose once at something she will leave to make you better of course i hope this anime goes a dif way and ayano beats everyone then her mother and walks away.
from my perspective elena was at partly her fault, yes she did it with good intentions but she should've known or asked years ago why she quit badminton since elena knew ayano the longest she should've known that there was some thing wrong when ayano refused it in the first place but she just ignored the signs of ayano's mental problems and here we are a broken ayano but yeah, mom in the anime biggest scum bag of the year for sure
When her mother told her the reason i saw water droplets on wei wei I though she was crying I was really angry but when I saw it was coming from bottle I was like I can't tell and yeah I think ayano mother will get good maybe but please haters don't kill m
Dude really disagree with you in this. It's probably as you as that ayano's mother left without knowing the impact on her daughter. But i think i've seen enough anime to know that she probably had some kind of emergency and trusted that ayano would mature more independently if left alone. Now, saying it is not alright for a parent to abandon their child only applies if the parent disowns the child or something like that which from the mother's behaviour that was obviously not what she was doing. Certain situations in life, a person would need to make the best decision available. If she felt ayano would grow on her own, i'd say she was trying to make the right choice. Even in the real world many parents are separated from their child growing up and it's not their choice. I think you're being sucked into the idea that she abandoned her because of ayano repeated using the phrase. And then theres the coach. Both girls have talent and both have put in the hard work, although the results are greatly different. A coach's duty is to guide a player, but dont forget it is also to improve the overall results of the whole team. Even though ayano became all dark and whatnot, she was slowly going back to how strong she was prior the series. But the ayasaki was facing road blocks one after another. If one member will grow on her own, the logical decision is to focus on the one with deficulties. Even if he ended up neglecting ayano's behaviour, his intention was logical as a coach. I think you underestimate the amount of trust the mother and coach have in ayano to grow on her own. If something has so much talent, it's natural to leave it alone to grow until it faces challenges, that is when guidance comes in to overcome that.
And the only reason that Ayano wanted to play badminton was so that she could be closer with her. Yet, the mother abandoned her. The mother's own misguided thoughts has broken Ayano.
To be fair, Ayano is a HUGE mess of emotional baggage and aggression, I don't blame the coach for avoiding the role of a physiologist. As far as making it or breaking it, this anime was far too rocky as far as characterization and plot to entirely redeem itself, even sadder is the fact the it *isn't* a guarantee that the mother won't be redeemed, which is baffling considering how shitty she is. I was kinda expecting if to go full Silent Voice and Elena getting pissed and straight up attacking the mom (still have hope).
Nagisa at the begining of the series was the assohle of the assholes with her club friends, she is the reason why half of them could not enjoy badminton anymore and moost of the people like her. She was angry because she lost 21-0 to Ayano, what a pathetic reason. While Ayano was abandoned by her mother because she lost a match, and her mother keeps upseting Ayano with her selfishness, but people are like "But is not ok to be edgy with people you play and tell them the sad truth that they suck". That is the reason why a lot of people hate Ayano, and they wish her to lose against Naghisa. But Ayano will not lose, because she needs to fight Conie. Seriously, who will play agains Conie if Ayano loses to Naghisa? Naghisa? But how entertaining will that be? That will be stupid and borring, Conie probably dosn't give a fuck about Naghisa and vice versa. So yea, Naghisa will be a steping stone for Ayano's character development.
I still root for Ayano since she is a total badass and I don't even care about his attitude because what made her like that is all thanks because of her so called mother I blame her mother for what ever is wrong about ayano since she was a little girl she was a happy child and continued to be a good person until her parent just abandon her for no knowledge of reason her mother has for leaving her if there is anybody who can fix her right now it's her mother because making her lose to aragaki is just making her belief of being a winner is a must and losing is not an option for her so if her GOOD MOtHer know's what's happening to her child and explain everything loud and clear I think that should do it whether her mother did it for a good reason or not it will probably change ayano's perspective so I go Ayano All the way and show that tomboy looking girl Fear!!!.

I feel like the writers want me to root for Nagisa by showing how much of an arrogant Ayano is becoming, but my heart is telling to root for Ayano instead
Same would prefer ayano to win.
Would be too cliche if nagisa wins
ayano loses nagisa wins but ayano gets scouted by the french? i think its frech guy. but the anime is so rushed the story is not making sense as example at this point in the manga all the girls know whats happening with her mother and ayano doesnt behave like this after that only on games she goes into her yandere mode.

Ayano's mom reason for leaving her made her even worse!
At least endeavor admitted his mistakes and is trying to redeem himself.

Well the difference between Ayano's mom and goku is that taking into goku's character he didn't force Gohan into fighting the situation forced Gohan into fighting. The only thing Goku knows literally is fighting and the only way that goku could really connect with Gohan is through fighting.Plus Goku never gave up or abandoned Gohan just because he was weaker then him...no what he did was he improved and trained with his son.....
goku forced gohan to fight cell...
just one time, at the other time Goku didnt force gohan to fight. Goku used to take all the responsibility to fight

Wanna hear the conversation with Elena and Ayano's mom
Literally everyone does besides that I’m 1000% on Elena’s side.
Everything is gonna be explained to Elena and we the audience won't get till much later
He is shit.
If Ayano loses, it’ll be way too cliche. Ayano put in more work than the other, and it’s way more personal
IKR
Put more work than nagisa?
Happy Sugar Life VS Hanebado: Dawn of Edginess
Talented person with hardwork Vs ordinary girl with hardwork. There's the answer. For example has anyone won ballon d'or another than Messi or ronaldo for past 10 years. No. It's not like other players don't work hard. It's just life. Talent + hardwork wins 90% times
More work than Nagisa? are we even watching the same anime lol?
This is Elena's justification in her own words from Episode 2:
"But you still need to play badminton."-Elena
"Why?"-Ayano
"Because you're talented."-Elena.
"No I'm not...I don't even want to do it."-Ayano.
Yup this is guilt. Elena is partly at fault as well.
There were good intentions. She has incredible talent so it'd be a waste if she didn't play. Like if you played sports you'd understand that much.
@@Iceaiden she won't become humble because of a L in fact I think it will make her worse

That's much how I hate her 😂
Although I personally would prefer to see Ayano win after a very tough match, I rather believe that she loses it.
I'd say that quote fits perfectly for this series.
This is an awesome video!!! Great talk!! Look forward to more of your work!!

Ayano is a prime case of /r/raisedbynarcissists.
Mother : I'm leaving you cos you rely on me too much.
Newborn fetus :
Aragaki may seem like that imprevisible person who changed her playstyle at first, but Ayano will realise that and she will beat Aragaki.
Good intentions? GOOD INTENTIONS?!! THE ROAD TO HELL IS PAVED WITH “GOOD INTENTIONS”!!!
Elena: i did not have bad intentions
audience: history told many times that most of the bad outcome come from good intentions though...
Meanwhile ayano beat connie to dust an episode ago so if aragaki beats ayano does that mean aragaki is better than connie???(WHO IS A GODDAMN WORLD CLASS)
Ayano needs a wake up call from her mother so she can wreck Nagisa any time.
Marvin No, both mother and daughter need family counselling immediately! Ayano is a heartless jerk while her mom is the root of her baby girl's problem!
No, its always the parent. who counsels the child. Well its kinda Uchika's fault why shes like this.
Marvin That acutally cementing my point that the mother is the root of the problem.
Honestly, I don't mind if Ayano loses but if she forgives her mum then I'm done with this anime
she has the right to forgive her, every person is diffrent and some people are able to forgive someone and others cant never forgive someone.
stampoulis rafail I agree with you that she has the right but that doesn't mean it is the right choice for her. Look at how the mum acts, as if those years that she left Ayano without a reason are normal. That's why I don't want her to be forgiven. She doesn't deserve anything at all, especially anything from Ayano.
@@vibrant4419 the think is you dont need to forgive someone to make up with them.
stampoulis rafail so Ayano should make up with her pile of trash mother whilst still not forgiving her?
@@vibrant4419 i dont know, i am not ayano and i never was in a situation like that.
The grandparents and the mom know some extra info we don’t that’s probably why they reacted that way
I REALLY hope this show gets another. It's been my favorite anime this year
At least goku loved his kids common goku was so much better than this woman. He was a good parent yet flawed this woman is just messed
no hay mucha diferencia entre ambos
I'll run through the basics:
Raditz kidnapped Gohan and nearly killed Goku: Both Goku nor Gohan can be blamed for Raditz appearance; when Raditz was about to kill Goku, Gohan burst out of the Saiyan Pod and saved his dad!
Goku's not a rocket scientist, but he can compare his previous battles.)
"Goku gave Cell a Senzu Bean". (Goku also told Gohan to train, but Gohan didn't do that part so well.)
From the points I've presented, I fail to see where Goku forced his fighting ideals upon Gohan.

Same with the coach that part was in the manga.

in the manga, she also have a "chinese" daughter. This mom is collecting all ethnicity of grils for her harem.
The biggest question, is she more broken than Shinji?
Psychologically wise... no. Socialwise. Yes. She's trying to cope with her mother and broken mind by being cruel. By acting like she doesn't care. I can't fault her.

Elena just wants to be the next girl to get pick on by the mom
I agree with most things you said (including coach preferable treatment being bad thing), but I wouldn't say Ayano, the girl who ditched badminton for years, yet instantly winning once she returns really qualify as hardworker character.

The mother is sick with a terminal disease.
Ayano's mother looks like Nozomi Kamanashi from Keijo and has the parenting skills of Goku when leaving to train and pushing their kids to fight.
The chacters in that anime are so real..
Hopefully Ayano will be getting a wake up call soon.
The grandparents might not be saying anything because they are her in-laws and not Ayano's mom real parents. Remember one episode where grandma said they are lucky to have Ayano's mom marry into the family/
Coach ignores other students for another one
Ends up better than the one he focused on
The grand parents were made to be fill in characters to enable the messed up plot of Ayano’s mother to somehow be allowed to even be in the same house as Ayano. If a grandparent saw what she did, my god would they not let her near her, or at least yell their head off at them.
Your other vids said that her mother was truly horrible so dose times were fakes and this is when shes actually horrible?
ʜ̶ᴇ̶ᴀ̶ᴛ̶ᴢ̶ Ϟ神 I think Chibi really wanted to give her chances to explain herself and fix the situation with Ayano. But no, as the series progresses.. it's just become clearer and clearer that she's a total piece of shit after all XD
TheRedfalcon * According to you that is. I followed Chibi's reviews on some series I liked, and I'd say Chibi has done a pretty good job.
WTF??
You Should have been checking out “How not to Summon a Demon Lord!”
not really, chibi aspires to discuss good plot, that anime had little plot, much ecchi. the series is way too cliched it hurts, every new character is a potential additional harem.
I didn´t notice that before.
with the fact uchika loved THE other child...not her own child
and suddenly ayano had a step sister, no explain...
i pretty much thinking
"i don't needed by my mother anymore, i'm an outcast"
goku on the other hand had communication with his child and giving tips and whatsoever so that his child doesn't make any mistake as he did, to make a better and efficient fighter, and most importantly, he closed to his child everyday...
in my opinion, Connie ARE the one switched Ayano madness into the next level
Lee Dan vs Taufik Hidayat the anime??????
Just read the manga. Wow it’s completely different to the anime. The anime is way more serious, while the manga seems more comedic
ive never heard of this anime. so is is wrong i've sat here for 5 minutes thinking he was talking about a gang or group called "bad mitten"? i feel so dumb! >_<
no hate man. love your reviews!
Aragaki and the coach hit it off, boi 😈
Comparing with Goku and using the phrase eat that horse in his attack on titan episode review, someone has DBZA on the brain
You should read the manga a lot more of stuff is happening there involving her mom
there is no such thing as bad parent there can be only a bad child.
Gotta watch Asobi Asobase after Hanebado. Happy thoughts, fvcking come to me.
from my perspective elena was at partly her fault, yes she did it with good intentions but she should've known or asked years ago why she quit badminton since elena knew ayano the longest she should've known that there was some thing wrong when ayano refused it in the first place but she just ignored the signs of ayano's mental problems and here we are a broken ayano but yeah, mom in the anime biggest scum bag of the year for sure
Hard work vs talent (ronaldo vs messi)😱
When her mother told her the reason i saw water droplets on wei wei I though she was crying I was really angry but when I saw it was coming from bottle I was like I can't tell
and yeah I think ayano mother will get good maybe but please haters don't kill m
Whats the big deal? Gon got left alone by his dad for like...300 eps and he's still perfectly sane to me.
ButterToast I agree
I still can accept leaving ayano but she raising another girl, that what got me most.
Why does this season have so many female psycho MCs?
Ayano, Rachel Gardner, Satou in particular
I'm just gonna say: The way to hell is paved with good intentions.
And the only reason that Ayano wanted to play badminton was so that she could be closer with her. Yet, the mother abandoned her. The mother's own misguided thoughts has broken Ayano.

Bad mitten
Ayano and Nagisa reminds me of Messi and Ronaldo in a strage way
Top 10 worst mother in Anime
How many times have you said it’s official, I agree every time but still
Please Nagasa, you are the only one can turn Ayano back to normal.....
Who is the worst mother? Ayano's mom or Shio's? Vote now!
"Rain! Rain! Bring us rain! Bring us rain!"
'The captain has lost it!'
If anybody has lost it during that scene; it was me 😂
I hope ayano’s mother change her bad habits if not she is going to get punched by ayano’s friend
Chibi Episode 12 Review: Yes, it's definitely confirmed this time, Ayano's Mother is the worst
You know it BB
series threw its potential out the window. left sports and became pure drama
Are you a Boyle?
Wow. Wasn't expecting a DBZ references here. What series doesn't DBZ influences.
