I didn’t know that I needed to know about the Apocryphal books excluded from the Bible but, Pastor John, I’m now intrigued! I’d heard of the book of the Maccabees, I guess that I’ll have to research - thanks for the jump start. (I’m guessing that this would be just for curiosity, not a salvation issue)?

Did you mean Plain Revelation? (Anyway, that’s the one I bought 😏). As for Austin Cooke, I couldn’t find his book, Commentary on the book of Revelation! I eventually found - An Enduring Vision: Revelation Revealed - is that the book, Pastor R? Please post the titles here if possible (hopefully I can obtain electronic versions, so that I can read them with ease). Thank you.
Yes the Story of the ten virgin is a parable Matthew 25:1 Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom.
