Typically this 10-20 minute period of lower levels of energy is a normal part of our ultradian rhythm cycles. Therefore instead of doing work for 30 minutes then taking 5 minute breaks, the best thing to do is stay aligned with the rhythms by utilizing the 60-90 minutes of full energy, then use the drop off(trough)period as your “break” time before you get back into work. Utilizing this break period and clearing your mind also enhances your learning curve by a 20x! Hope this helps! Let me know if you need further information im open for questions!
This one is totally up to you! Do whatever you would normally do in your “break” times from any sort of work. Some of the best things to do especially if you work on screens, is to get outside and go for a short walk or meditate in silence to give your brain a little rest. You could also use that time if you’re hungry to grab a healthy snack, etc. One of my favorite things to do is just find the closest window, take a few deep breaths and stare out into the distance and let my mind wander. I find these times great for generating ideas! It’s totally up to you though! Find what works best for you. Hope this helps!
