Mate, couple years ago, Ive done the exact same thing in my corsa, but I was very disappointed. It does sound more clear but doesn't sound louder because your headunit won't let you. Not much of a difference. So what I did was adding an amplifier to my front and rear speakers, and 1 amp for the subwoofer. You will be blown away if you here my system. It is next level!
Even before I can finish this video (I paused to write this at 06:22), I must say that I'm already very impressed with the way you are doing your videos....looking casual BUT VERY illustrative. Great work
Thanks so much for making this vid bro, You made my life a whole lot easier. Without this guide I'd be wrecking the speaker grills with a screwdriver expecting them to come off lol.
The reason they are clearer is because they are "coaxial" speakers which have tweeters mounted in the middle of the midwoofer. This is exposing you to a higher range of frequencies but also the new woofers will produce a nicer sound but standard vauxhall corsa D radios are about 50 watts per channel so the speakers aren't reaching close to their full potential. Nice video!
As the stock speakers are components, would you recommend disconnecting the factory tweeters in the door? As that frequency range will now be covered by the new coaxial speakers.
@@teddy6888 There's really no reason to do so unless you feel like it sounds better without. The tweeters sit higher up on the factory corsa so it adds a depth of field into the sound. If it was my car I would leave them in !
Let me send you to the next level my dude. My first car was also a Corsa. Now BMW. BUT, in the Corsa. I added a Pioneer AVH-Z3100DAB with Apple CarPlay from amazon. Connects2 AZ-ICE-304 from amazon because it Looks the best. Universal double din installation kit cage adaptor from amazon. And finally a T1 Audio T1-VX2 from amazon. All in works out £350/360 for entire sound system overall. COMPLETELY changes the car. Look into it.
What would help with the mid bass is speaker foam ring set. One that is a pad that goes in the door behind the speaker. Then the ones that goes between the speaker itself and the door card. Directs the sound straight into the car and sounds so much better and the bass, well it’s much stronger
where can i find the mounting adapter please? links would be helpful in description i bet loads of people watching have corsas and want to do these mods!:)
Cheers for the vid. Can you explain what you did with the in built factory tweeters? Did you dis enable them because if you used coaxial speakers then the sound in that is enough without the factory tweeters, is this right?
Eeeee u did it without any door sound deadening, it could sounds a bit better... think about full sounddeadening and after that the sound blew ur mind bro. My stock speakers sounds so good i dont need any new ✌🏻
Any chance of a before and after with some none copyrighted music?? (Even if it’s not that clear through the camera), I’m on the edge of wether to do this to my corsa or not, great video man!!!!👌🏻
ayyyy those speakers sound fireee 🔥 by the way bro what instrumental, beat is that at 10:10 idk if u can hear it well but if u can please can you link it to me? 🤪
Planning to do the same in my peugeot 208, but no idea how much it will cost, if i need any adapters etc. The current speakers cant fucking handle bass, and 99% of my songs has some gr8 bass
Hi, I've been following you recently. I also have an Opel Corsa and I would like to change the stereo system, do you recommend this? Where did you buy it? Thanks😊
I'm Italian but even not knowing English well you entertain me a lot and make me laugh. I don't have much money but my stereo system is not working at all and I would like to change it as soon as possible, possibly with a decent system or if possible a very good one. Can you advise me something?
Nice one! There are actually a couple of ways to improve the sound of your new Alpine door speakers, regardless of whether you'll be installing a subwoofer system: 1) Install an amplifier. Your new speakers can handle 75w RMS each (don't follow the "peak" / "max" ratings), and for £65 or higher, a Vibe Pulse 2 or better will output 60w RMS per channel or higher. The sound will not only be able to go louder but also cleaner in doing it, as factory and aftermarket head units' built-in amplifiers are typically just 8w RMS per channel to 14w RMS per channel by comparison. The amplifier should be hooked up to the Alpine door speakers only, with the factory high-level tweeters (if you're leaving them in) and rear speakers remaining hooked up to the head unit, for the best sound stage and frequency balance. 2) Line the inside of the door panels with sound deadening material, such as Dynamat. This will reduce sound leakage through the doors, which will allow the speakers to work more efficiently at lower frequencies and give punchier upper bass and more of a presence of lower midrange. This will also mean that if and when you install a subwoofer system, there will be less of a frequency "hole" in the upper bass / lower midrange area of the spectrum and the overall frequency response will be smoother. Hope these recommendations help :)
@@ffrs1444 I see now that you were saying he should have fitted component speakers rather than coaxials. Still, my recommendations are valid, and will allow the potential of the speakers he has fitted to be realised.
nice video but if you change the stereo it will be 5x better because your standard stereo is around 15x4w and a aftermarket stereo thats not from china will be 50x4w I have the exact same door speakers on my car with a Sony stereo and its amazing
very nice speakers problem is they are ment to be used with a car amp as you wont get 240w from the car stereo max your car stereo would be putting out if factory is 35w to 40w they would be more bass on a car amp
14 watts per channel rms x4 = 56 watts. .......never experienced it however have heard that in order to be twice as loud they have to 140 watts rms. Anyone know if 60watts rms sounds noticeably/considerably louder?
I’m more impressed with how he installs these things 😂
Next vid:
Installing a McLaren engine into my Corsa

I swear he would make it possible

Just gotta replace the rear seats with a massive subwoofer now
Wondering how that could be done
Exactly what hes done with the rocco
It’s beautiful seeing him slowly turn into a car guy
I clicked every ad that popped up so you get higher revenue so you can get yourself a nice big fat subwoofer🤗😆
Could you link where you got these speakers and the brackets by any chance bro, wanna fit these to my car🤘🏽

Assuming you have no experience, how the hell do you install all sorts of things to your car😂
RUclips
Nothing else is more of a typical corsa driver than your channel it's great.
Where did you get the adapter from & what’s the name of it. So you don’t have too cut the factory wiring?
& did you have too buy a separate mount for the speaker?
You should definitely raffle this car at the end of the series 🔥
When he says “something that pissed me the fuck off” nah saying that every time he swears, looks around for mummy and daddy 😂😂😂
Ahhh those speakers are 🔥love the tune you played so classic😂
Literally dying with laughter.
Comedic value 10/10 😂
I changed my head unit today and had the same reaction to being able to play my own music again 😂. Looking to do speakers next. Nice video
I already know this video is gonna be sick👍👍
I’ve changed the speakers on my fiesta and I just cut the brackets off of the old speakers and installed them onto the new one and they fit perfectly
It would have saved me £11 if I just cut it off tbf 😂🥺
Getting the most out of your speakers is connecting it to a amplifier. Then you will understand how clear and wonderful the sound will be.
I’ve got a corsa too and want to change the speakers, can I have the links to them, the brackets, and adapters??
You got the links bud?

Do you have any recommendations for an amplifier that's low cost and not too big for this Corsa?
that is not true. components are usually better.

If you do decide on it. Gimme a shout because RUclips installation videos for this don’t exist much. 👌
You need to get an aftermarket stereo and amplifier to get the full potential out of those speakers, then you can add a sub later down the line
