Sorry to hear about the house. I recently bought a 78 Oldsmobile Delta 88 Royal coupe with one myself and can't wait to fix it up to be my long distance car. Also, at least the car survived.
We have a 81 lesaber 350 diesel, had a miss turned out it had a flat cam lobe on the exhaust side and 1 hour after we turned the pump up it fuel locked and sent a rod out the side, car now has a 9” rear th400 and 6.0l lq4, it’s cool because in California anything diesel pre 97 is smog exempt
That car deserves to live on. Surviving as long as it has without rotting to death, going on road trips, and going thru an actual fire is incredible. Wont take much to get it back on the highways cruising, and the smile Ryan wil get from it would be permanent.

Those Olds DX blocks only need 2 things to be bulletproof; a water separator for the fuel, and ARP head studs. The studs are stronger than the TTY head bolts and they wont stretch and ruin the head gaskets.

Just 1 month ago my best friend (literally lives directly across the street from me) just lost his house, his.. for lack of better words stunned roommate kept flipping a circuit breaker that kept popping and than that one last time it didn't pop... The whole wall around the fuse panel lit up and took the whole house.

i been trying for weeks to save a 4dr 83 buick regual sedan diesel out of a secret junkyard i go to. it has the pretty rare 4.3 v6 serpentine setup diesel, and da 200r4 OD trans, with ALL the comfort options. missing sum parts tho. surprised that olds 98 ain't completely gone. wow.

pull the heads and intake and fuel delivery then replace them with a pair of small block heads with a 4 bbl intake and carb and run it on gas easy peasy . My 350 diesel caddy was converted and was still going at 330k miles when I sold her , the 250m trans they used in these cars will get you great gas mileage on the highway , not so great in the city lol .
yeah, she's gonna stay a diesel tho. I know these blocks are the best for a gas build but we are special here and love the anemic 120 hp these produce hahah

You're machine looks to be the 1980s version when it was owned by Keys. My deck is belt driven and if it helps ill try to get a video of deck too and bottom.

I have a machine shop make mandrel shafts for me because I can't find any old stock. Would appreciate it if you had connections for blades. By the way my grandfather had the same car you guys resurrected from the fire. I remember that the seats we like seating on a sofa and it was sky blue. Take care
