Well, you asked why someone would dislike a video. Obviously, there are the haters, and perhaps those who look down on the profession of being a professional driver. I'm thinking that the awesomeness of your videos and the trucking lifestyle is probably too much to comprehend, and they act out by giving it a 'thumbs down'. How do I know it's awesome? I grew up with some of the best trucking entertainment: -Black Dog -Smokey and the Bandit 1+2+3 -Duel -Over the Top -BJ and the Bear -Maximum Overdrive -Think Big -Big Trouble in Little China -The Bandag Bullet (before the re-branding) -George Thorogood & The Destroyers - Gear Jammer -Paul Brandt - Convoy -Andy The Kenworth Guy Besides all that, I have a friend that has been driving many a year for one of your customers. I have have rode along with him many times, and it's great. The sound of that PACCAR grunting away as the turbo whistles to keep those cylinders full of air, and the engine brake trying to slow it down. The banter between drivers on the CB radio. Giving that little string up by the windshield a quick tug on an empty stretch of road. I am jealous of him, but in a good way. Besides his natural talent for driving, he has always worked hard to be the best he can in his profession. Always pushing to expand and refine his skills. I'd love to have my own W900L with the 40" flat top sleeper, Cummins X15 in front of an Eaton Fuller (with a grey splitter button), and a wet kit. Be a part of that awesome brotherhood that is the professional truck driver. Well, this comment has got away on me like an old 8V92T. Better wrap this up before I send a rod into low earth orbit. Andy, your videos are awesome. You put out the energy that says you are just as passionate about the trucks and presenting it, as we are watching the video. To all the truckers out there, keep the rubber side down and turning round, and allow me to offer you all, The World's Best!
Thank you! I needed to know how to move & swivel the desk out of the way of the bed. I am a 27 year driving veteran and have been local the last 15 years and am now going back over the road. The desk over the bed is a feature I have not seen in a sleeper truck before. Thank you
Really appreciate the details Andy. Ex. the disc brakes give a bit better wheel cut & turning radius; engine heater & oil pan heater on same or different plugs; Also, the diff lock plunger. I had no idea about these things and love to understand implications of different options. AND, I you are the ONLY RUclipsr that has a light when showing darker areas (like the sleepers). It's wonderful to actually see what you are showing as opposed to have to imagine when there is no light. Thanks for the great vids and explanations! It's appreciated.
Have been a little critical in the past but ALWAYS a thumbs up, think you know I am a very straightforward subscriber. Never couch my thoughts. Not a fan of budget trucks but this was a good presentation.
Andy, I don’t really agree on the worlds best tagline, I’m a mad Mack fan, but your content is grade A. Keep up the great work, I actually enjoy every video. Forget about the 👎🏻
Claiming Kenworth is the worlds best is a rather bold statement, you know it's DAF 😉, but no reason for a thumbs down. Greetings from the Netherlands 🇳🇱
Enjoying your videos and music selection. You’re doing some cool stuff with the camera so keep that up. As for the ‘thumbs down’ they’re probably Eurosnot drivers........👍
I like this truck, but how am I going to check the batteries with the full side fairings on? Can I order a new t680 without the side fairings and a stack behind the sleeper?
I have almost the exact same truck. What type of inverter would you recommend and should I wire up an inverter from the battery instead of using the plug
I think that's the world's best/ nicest interior, greetings from Europe, I thought DAF had a similar color interior, have you ever been in one?, that would be a great 50K sub special to review a DAF xf
Hey Andy 🤗 Again a lovely video with a lovely Kenworth.. For the past few videos I'm noticing absence of full aerodynamic side fairings and seven-spoke rims in T680s.. Is it depend on customer's choice or the company guys discontinued those stuff? Btw, I'm trying hard for the last half an hour to give two thumbs up, but of no use 😀 Have a nice time bro..
I drive these in day cab config and I think they're a joke. Every one of them rattles and thumps from the right side of the cab where the air dam and exhaust is mounted. In reverse the automated-manual transmission either wants to go nowhere or slam into the dock at 3 mph. Three times this week, on 3 different trucks, I've had low beam bulbs go out, and one washer sprayer quit working. Highest mileage of the trucks I drove this past week was just under 200,000 miles.
"World's Best" LMAO, my 2021 T680 has the build quality of a '73 Pinto. At 25,000 miles I've counted 9 rattles or squeaks. At low idle the entire left fairing assembly rattles, squeaks and shakes. Sitting in traffic, I can watch the hood shake/bounce in a dozen spots from engine idle. The window curtain assembly on the drivers side broke in the track on first use. The fuel tank straps have failed twice and needed replaced (we have of these trucks, 5 of 6 have had this issue at least twice). As for power, the 455 hp MX13 with PACCAR automatic, to call it gutless from a standing start is an understatement. The transmission is constantly bound and determined to start off in 3rd gear, at 80,000 lbs on a grade, WHY? KW says it's normal 🤦. The truck I gave up, 2015 CX613 Mack, at 565,000 miles had 2 rattles, and can run circles around this KW. The difference between the two, 3.23 vs 3.72 gearing.
Sounds like you need to program the ecm on the transmission. Also sounds like the operator might be a bit rough on the equipment because I’ve sold hundreds of these and don’t have these complaints

Absolutely

No worries. I appreciate you watching my content and commenting. The thumbs down doesn’t actually bother me. I was just kidding around. Lol
That’s a really great set up. Like the tan interior but not a fan of automatics. Your videos are always great. Thank you for sharing.
Thanks for watching
Thank you kenwerth for Putting disc break Now you need the back ones I turned my 2020 Because of that
We can build them any way you want. Disk or drum

We put it in writing.

Great video Andy. That plastic fetish is hilarious. Would be nice to see a few custom options on a model like this.
I plan on it Don.

Thanks for watching Rod. I appreciate the kind words.
In future, whenever I gonna buy the truck, it will be Kenworth T680 with Cummins, and obviously the sales guy will be Andy the Great 😎
Thanks
nice truck but my thumb down is for that auto slush box
We sell manuals too.
I like this truck, but how am I going to check the batteries with the full side fairings on?

it's really not that great, volvo makes a much nicer homier interior
@@joshf9679 Thats right, Swedish trucks are better for comfort, but since daf is a paccar company I thought that would be a good idea
Each to their own
Hey Andy can you order the stacks exhaust instead of the undercab exhaust on the KW t680?
You can but not chassis fairings.
@@AndyTheKenworthGuythanks andy keep the videos coming all the way to Ottawa!!!
Right on Kevin!
Nice highway cruiser 👍👍👍
Thanks for watching
Got a question for u Andie can I get an 18 or 13 speed manual. If possible around 500 or 600 horse rather in Cummings or Paccar let me know.
Yes to transmission question. The Paccar goes to 510jp and cummins is 605
hello andy excellent kenworth 2021. I hope to have the opportunity to visit inland, and congratulations for the 26,000 subs, I still love the kenworth
Thanks. Come by anytime.
Can you still get a t 680 in manual
Yes
I found a “ The World’s best” Kenworth decal on eBay. Kenworth should start adding that to their trucks.
Noce
The tan interior has grown on me would love to see a tan diamond vit. Thanks for all the info.
I’ve done it before. Check out the purple t680 video i did.
The purple truck is nice, that was the slate grey VIT is was hoping to see the Tan VIT
I thought it had tan in it. Hmmm.
Peterwagon lovers...haters..lol keep up the content Andy!!..
You got it. Thanks for the encouragement
Hi KW guy
What do you think about super single? And in Minnesota we all ready SNOW in Blaine
I’ve sold some and they work ok. It’s all to do with your mac weights
Andy, nice job on the trucks and the videos.
Would love to see a T800 Wide hood or High hood.
Unfortunately I don’t sell that model very often. If I do I sure will though
Thanks for sharing.
You bet. Thanks for watching
Now does this KW jump when you hit the gas like all the other KW T 680's??
You have to pivot your heel. Plant it then lean.
@@AndyTheKenworthGuy yes I figured that. Why does it do that? Would be a perfect truck without it.
Not really sure.

Thanks Mr Singh. Those options are available to customize. Not discontinued. The secret to a double thumbs up is to do it in the comments. 👍🏻👍🏻

Turn radius is poor.
@@firstamendmenttshirt4768 I've driven many different trucks. I have no problems with the turning ratio in this t680
@@thomaswilson8634 if you like turning in your 40 acreage yard get a T680 otherwise stick to frieghtliner. Work smarter not harder.
It’s actually not. And with disc it gives better turning. Order with wide track and it improves even more
