Speaking as a ex Scottish enduro champion. You look very confident in the stubble field. When you are happy riding your bike you feel more confident and you looked the part well done rest day rider.
That's exactly how Itchy Boots startet to improve herself for offroad riding... So don't worry, you are in good company Noise Video! Fun to watch.Looks like a ton of FUN🤓😎
Well done you. Bet you ached afterwards, but go sooo much out of the day. Those off road days are really good for improving your bike skills, and help gain confidance, you fell off and laughed it off, got back on and off again. There will be no stopping you now. Just look how far you have come on your 2 wheeled adventures .
I used to do trail riding years ago, every Sunday. I was just like you when I started, but then one day it all snapped into place. The one thing that all motorcyclists should do is learn to ride off road (legally). It teaches you control in a way that tarmac never will. It saved my life once when instinct kicked in. You did well for a first outing, very well indeed.
Really good start to my day. Lovely to hear your laughter. My first bike after my moped was a yamaha dt175 and it took me back to riding that A road and off road bike in one. 47 yrs ago😁
Learning in the dirt likely saved my hide over the years...been a while since I've done that, but I'd say you did well for never having done it before! "try harder" #2 had me rolling as you were laughing...that's how to do it and not take it all too seriously! Well done, and thanks for an entertaining vid! Ride Safe 🙏🏼
well done, falling off with the throttle open, picking yourself up and going again, confident, most of all laughing even on the ground, great effort your a natural. As a moderately experienced trail/adventure rider the first lesson of ABC I suggest to others is Attitude-ticked, B is Bite point of the clutch , learn it, 0ne or two fingers on it permantly, practice it on the road, feed it in feed it out go as slow as you can, practice, practice every t junction, traffic lights, car parks , most trail falls are slow speed, the clutch is your saviour. If your ever in need of info for routes road or trail or you ever find your way down in SW Wales I would be happy to show you around a few of the lesser known roads or trails. See/contact me on the ABR forum as bikenav, I have been bandaged once or twice by the Guys and Gals in green, so more than happy to return the favour. Good stuff, Keep at it.
Well done! I think you did a great job! It will be a great confidence boost, especially when you are back on the roads on your road bike. Thanks for the great vid.
Well done, greenlaning is physical even more than people realise!!! Glad you see my end off the screen, turnig the white in my eys about the cows and screaming "concentrate" and "be careful" on the wet grass, glad you enjoyed it!
Looks like you enjoyed it, thanks for sharing, it brought back so many memories of the first time I rode a bike, just like those, in a field just like that, when I was 14 years old 1975. I got hooked and never got unhooked.
That was a great vlog ....what I like about you is that you get stuck in and do it ...brilliant..Good on you ..and you laughed when you fell off ! What a star well done 👏
I think Charlie, you thoroughly enjoyed doing that. Surprised you did not attempt one of those jumps. well i bet you are well pleased with yourself. Good on you for doing it. well enjoyed watching this.
Well done you are an inspiration having said that I am too old for that I would end up breaking something so I will continue to enjoy watching you having fun. Roger
Excellent! So glad you enjoyed your day, NOW the addiction begins! 😂🤣 Looking forward to seeing what bike you get (get a CRF250L) 🤣😂 and try to get involed with your local TRF group so that you know what legal green lanes you have locally (the members usually know of suitable bikes for sale as well) 👍
Hi Charlie, for your first time off road you did really good. And it will give you more confidence on the road and when you go off road on your own. Ride free and stay safe.
Looks like you had a great time, I liked the caption about starting to ache, yeah I know, makes parts of you ache that you never knew you had and even more so the next day. Good on ya Charlie.
@@restdayrider I might be wrong but I think adventure riding or green lane riding doesn't involve as much pressure to ride quickly, its more a matter of getting across rough terrain.
Well Charlie I take my hat off to you girl, you done well. I sensed you felt more confident knowing the bike was smaller engine and the bike was lower to the ground too. Laughing when you fell off tells me you had a ball. I wouldn't start thinking about what bike just yet let the mucky weekend sink in first, there is no rush always tomorrow. Great video again keep smiling and ride safely.
Absolutely frickin awesome!! I smiled all the way through and literally lol and when i heard the crash sound effects., Brilliant. Damn fine riding for your first kick at the cat. Well done!!
Hey Charlie wow what an inspiration to other women ... not scared of jumping in at the deep end or getting your hands dirty.. I have only recently subscribed to your channel and I have to say I thoroughly enjoy your content.... My kinda woman... well done and continue being a true inspiration to others ❤️
yet again well done mate off road riding gives so much more confidance to riders but for those of us getting on in years it really piggin aches for the next few days so i now let the younger ones do it and i go for a cuppa instead. off road is a fantastic way to learn new skills and get a better biking experience
Really well done! Aeons ago, when I went on my first off-road course there was a girl in our 25-30 strong group, riding an old, high Honda500SR that only had a kickstart (we were all using the bikes we had ridden there on). She was a tad over 5 feet tall. At the end each of our stops she pushed her bike beside the nearest big rock or tree stump (we were riding forest trails near Stockholm), climbed on the bike and stood with her left foot on the rock and then kickstarted with her right foot. Then off she went with a grin from ear to ear all day, a joy to see. When she stopped at a junction she slid her bum (derrière?) to one side so she could reach the ground with one foot. She was a superb rider and put us all to shame. As I rode the 170 miles home I had plenty of time to ponder how crap I was. Still am, but I have fun😉 PS Takeaways: (1) Ride what you can afford - the girl was a student at uni, and (2) any shortcoming (pun intended) can be overcome. PPS Glad you experienced the necessity for full protective gear🕊️
You looked good Charlie, especially confident in the stubble, ruts are always a challenge but you did really well all round, I did a lot of mx and enduro, still ride off road now and then, and admire your spirit to get stuck into the day.
I have just stumbled across your channel.....and I love it. You really do know how to connect with your audience. I am sure you will be fine going to Europe. My favourite roads are in the Picos de Europa in Spain then down to Salamanca. I very rarely go into cities but Salamanca is amazing. I have subscribed.
You really know how to tear it up and get and dirty, lovely to hear your laughter and banter with the lads, might give that a try. Hope to tour later next year with my wife, did ask her about having a second wife after your last video, get out of hospital in a few days lol X
That was great Charlie kudos to you! If your gonna do this sort of thing on a regular basis then it's looking like the Himalayan for you if not The scram! Tough call! Great video 👍
Watching you ride the wet grassy stuff and the ruts made me nervous as It's where I usually fall off but you di very well... what next? TRF, TET, lightweight adventurers festival. Awesome job, a great story unfolding
Nice one , yeah I bet you have a few bruises today, that looked a great place to learn your off roading skills, maybe another day there will give you even more confidence on the green lane tracks , I use to motocross many moons ago and I’m sure you will have used muscles you haven’t used and will ache , all the best in your choice of new bike 👍👍
Cracking stuff, well done - it's a bit more physically demanding than Road riding. I'd have been knackered after the first few laps of the first field!
Ok Charlie, I was wrong, you obviously do itchy boot-ish stuff - respect. Maybe you will be better off with a Himalayan. Looked like a lot of fun!!
Speaking as a ex Scottish enduro champion. You look very confident in the stubble field. When you are happy riding your bike you feel more confident and you looked the part well done rest day rider.
Wow, thank you! 😊
It's all about having fun and enjoying yourself.Well done👍
in fact every motorcyclist should follow such a course ... definitely benefits the driving technique 😉👍👍👍 !
Well done Charlie, you're one gutsy lady, fair play to you for doing that
That's exactly how Itchy Boots startet to improve herself for offroad riding... So don't worry, you are in good company
Noise Video! Fun to watch.Looks like a ton of FUN🤓😎
Thank you. 😊
Keep going!! Dirt riding is fun the better you get the more fun you will have. Texas

The first time you came off, I saw those outstretched arms and thought Colles #! Glad you weren't hurt, and it looked like a great day.
It was such long soft deep grass it was like landing on a mattress. 🤣
Looks like you had a great time, I liked the caption about starting to ache, yeah I know, makes parts of you ache that you never knew you had and even more so the next day. Good on ya Charlie.
Yeah, I'm a tad sore today. 🤣

I did try the bigger Yammy, but opted for the smaller one to build confidence. Next time I'd go for the bigger one. 😊
Well done that looked fun
Just brilliant, I'd love to have a go but I'm not sure my 72 year old knees could take it. A real inspiration thanks for sharing.
