Resident Evil 4[a] is a 2023 survival horror game developed and published by Capcom. It is a remake of the 2005 game Resident Evil 4. Players control the US agent Leon S. Kennedy, who must save Ashley Graham, the daughter of the United States president, from the mysterious Los Iluminados cult. The remake builds upon the original game with an updated plot, new visuals, characters, cast, and improved gameplay.
Resident Evil 4 was announced at PlayStation's State of Play in June 2022 and released on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows, and Xbox Series X/S on March 24, 2023. It received universal acclaim and sold four million copies in its first two weeks, making it one of the fastest-selling Resident Evil games.

I love how they gave saddler a more "demented" look this time. The added reciting of verses that he inhumanly growls at you throughout the fight is so epic and slighty scarier and the og lol.
I always got the feeling that this version of Saddler wasn't just some superhuman like most other villains, he was literally the Plagas itself, his demented rants, his burning hatred of humanity, never once did I even think I was facing something that used to be a human, that the Plagas itself was speaking, disgusted at the world it woke up in, and wanting nothing but to become the rulers of earth once more
The old version of Saddler was very cliché but very effective I find, but this new one has nothing to envy. Capcom knew how to make the confrontation with him even more epic.

@@ExtendedRVGMi was actually a genuinely scared 9 year old kid again during my first time fighting him on my first playthrough of the remake. Holy fuck... capcom nailed this remake.
Yes a true exemple or a great Remake, Dead Space Remake diserve too

The reason I prefer this saddler is because he actually takes on the role of ‘Cult Leader’. The way he speaks, his movements, etc. The old Saddler felt more like a guy dressing up as an occult leader and that was it.
I completely agree however, the old Saddler had in my opinion more impact in the story in particular by killing Luis which made the confrontation at the end much more Epic.
@@ExtendedRVGM I’ll give you that, he did get more involved in the original. But here, he takes on the role of leader more to heart. Giving orders and sending his servants/underlings to do his bidding.
@@ExtendedRVGM Additionally, This Saddler is stronger than the old Saddler, he can induce hallucinations, you can hear him talk in your head, and he has an additional final form, (tentacle monster) on top of the spider mutation. If it wasn’t for the broken parring mechanics, he would be harder to kill than the original version.
@@JacobRivera168 I actually found it much more difficult than in the original and I had to try several times before succeeding. This last fight was really successful and I bought the Seperate Ways DLC.I can't wait to dive into the adventure again.
@@ExtendedRVGM the parring mechanics helps a lot. Funny enough it’s broken, there are simply some attacks you should not be able to parry with a little knife, much less if it’s an attack from a giant overpowered monster that can fling you like a penny. So the dodge mechanics would have worked better there. All in all, I enjoyed separate ways, hope you do to.
The OG version was more smug and corrupted the people for his own gain, but this one moreso feels like he really believes in his God. In real life, cult leaders can go either way.
