- HEY GUYS!! This is our most important video ever and a very special Charity that is close to our hearts!! We flew to Manila to visit Children of the Dump foundation and spend time with the children and experience their reality of living. It was an incredibly eye opening experience for us both and we learnt a lot.

My father came from a very poor family in the Philippines. But through the kindness of people in his life he was able to get an education, get out of poverty, and travel the world with my mom. He raised two kids and sent them to the best schools which allowed them to succeed in their careers. Though the future seems bleak for these children, your kindness and efforts will give them hope and maybe one of them will get out of the poverty that imprisons them today. You have already made an incredible difference for some them and they will remember you forever. God Bless you both!

I think by now you can say that their living conditions are awful but with this hot weather things get better there. It gets far worse in rainy season. The world is unfair and there is just not enough resources for everyone and that some don't want to share. I'd take this as the reality of life. Those children are there for a reason of which at some point is not of their doing. I hope that they get out of the rabbit hole, it's not impossible and a lot of people have been successful. Every bit of help you give will never be forgotten by these children. These stories are living inspirations and a wonderful motivation.

People live in this kind of area are heroes in our environment.. sorting garbage for recycling for the betterment of the environment..at least government have the program PPP for the poor requirements is only children must attend school..so someday if they graduate they could find job..that is f there's available job

Yes its definitely an eye opening, but you can see how happy these kids are even with very little of what they have. Philippines is just amazing people, they are always happy even if they dont have much they still share. Takes for visiting!

I'm crying right now, I'm from Mindanao and came a family of farmers and I still consider self lucky that we have enough to sustain our living specially for food and education. This shows how incompetent our political leaders are.

The concept of family planning as an evil thing, or idea, impeded into the masses of Filipinos since time immemorial was an unfortunate result of the Roman Catholic church in the Philippines ... hence, the millions of poor people in the country, especially the children begging for food in the streets. Parents had 10 children, with parents earning less than $5.00 a day. The population growth rate was quite high among the Philippines' ASEAN peers since the 70s. Only in 2012, when the Reproduction Health Bill was made into Law did parents finally get sex educated - despite opposition by the RC church. Now, the population growth rate is FINALLY slowing down.
Reduction of population by way of birth control sometimes end up damaging to a certain country. Japan, for example, is known for people who prioritize work over marriage or family is now facing problems about their population in that most of them are in their senior years while new generations of Japanese are too few to replace them. And I guess China has already lifted their two-child policy per family because of the declining number of newborns.
